The basic run down? Okay, we're seeing the emergence of 3 (or 4) super-powers right now, sort of 1984-esque. Any war between them would inevitably end up in a stale-mate, due to the huge amounts of land they all possess. There's a big space-race also going on right now, with most smaller countries gobbling up plots of land on Mars for colonies, and Brazil having a planet all to themselves in Alpha Centauri, and Germania soon to have one all to themselves in a presently undisclosed part of the galaxy. Then we're seeing the rapid emergence of new tech - life expanding drugs, extreme weather colonization, artificial intelligence, plasma weaponry, laser weaponry, exosuits, walkers, etc etc. You can't just insta-conquer nations, especially if you've just joined the game; since you have next to no military and are spending most of your money getting up to present game-year tech (I think we're at 2041 or something). Just wait a few years, built up your military, and then try taking it.

I was under the impression that ARC cannons just fired laser beams or some such. If they have the power to melt entire armies how is it possible to put them on spaceships? Wouldn't half the ship be used to create/store the energy such a weapon would need?

K. Should be ready in 3 years. [hide=more recent][/hide] Changes: Some of the islands in the Mediterranean still had Germania's old gray colour, so those were changed to its new Red one. Fixed some of those weird bright white pixels along some of the borders. Changed the location of Africa-Germania text, to the middle of the area.

I can build you one, it'll take 3 years though. But its not a military ship, and won't have any weapons. Can carry 5000 passengers, cost: $100b.

And it takes like 1 hour to get from Germany to Holland. You don't own Holland. You don't own Somalia.
