Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
How was it ok for the US to go into Afghanistan? The intelligence on Bin Laden carrying out the 9/11 attacks was at least as bad as the intelligence saying that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction (I mean, other than the ones the US sold him of course). Besides, the cia has already given up searching for Bin Laden, indicating that he was never the real issue after all. The intelligence obviously wasn't too bad, considering Bin Laden admits to being in the area, and someone we captured told them that Bin Laden was in there and that, essentially, he was scared. He told his second in command to shoot him in the head if they were about to be caught. They got away, but meh.

Last Name?
I'm just curious how wealthy the OP is if his family really were to own "large parts" of Hong Kong. Hong Kong is considered the most prime real estate in the world today, and in 10 years there won't even be anymore left to build on, sooo...If his family owns large parts of it, they'd be...Wealthy...

Three Big Questions to Ask Yourself
Fun fact: Jellyfish do not have brains. They only have a nerve system. ...Not sure how that all works out, but whatever.

Last Name?
Now you're on the right track! Now, all you have to do is put yourself in the female's shoes and you'll almost have it! SO CLOSE!

Last Name?
Yeah seriously right? MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY. But I thought I better just leave it. Anywhooooos...Mr. Rebdragon, if you hold your last name in higher reguard than your math homework, I have nothing else to say to you. Have fun with that last name...Afterall, you'll have it all your life. It isn't like you'll have math, which is directly responsible for your future success, for your whole life, right? Again, your last name means nothing. You're just being macho weiners.

Iran: Answering the Charges
You are connecting two different issues. Yet neither Irans aspiration to acquire nuclear power (originally aided by the US in the 50's, we gave them a reactor) nor its supposed aid to groups in Iraq, pose a threat to the United States. Please, please, please, read some of the supplied text and attempt to respond to it instead of repeating a watered down version what you hear on CNN in a fellacious attempt at a rebuttal. I shouldn't ask for a source? I should, and you should have one. I could find one for you, but that wouldn't help your critical thinking skills much, would it? Um, dude...? It isn't even about a threat to the USA. It's mostly about them being a threat to Israel and the east in general. And if they're supplying groups in Iraq (you just said they were aswell), then obviously that's not to HELP our troups. ...But you say I'm just listening to the news and talking about what I hear? Yea, okay...

Iran: Answering the Charges
Wow, you didn't read much in this thread did you? There is no proof the insurgents are getting IEDs (or any other kind of support) from Iran. Watch the Daily Show clip to be educated on the IED issue (and for a humorous take on the whole situation). Find me a source that shows that insurgents in Iraq are getting any support from Iran, you will have trouble, because Iran in fact is helping groups that are part of the pro-US coalition in Iraq. Iran also helped the US take down the taliban in Afghanistan. Countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE actually fund jihad alot more than Iran. Ah yes, Iran totally supports our coalition...All while calling us "Big Satan" and telling us we're infidels who are going to crumble and burn! The USA claims, as of lately, that they do have evidence that Iran is helping the Jihadists out with weapons and stuff, but it hasn't been shown...yet. It will be shown if Iran doesn't stop enriching Uranium or whatever.

Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
Yea, my point exactly. I was just looking at those pages the other day actually to find out the difference. :P I thought maybe it'd be a religious thing, but it's even dumber...Laws based off a religion. Okaaaay, good reason to kill eachother! Also, Sunni's are a majority in Iraq according to this map, but not by much. Shia are a majority only in Iran. Everywhere else, Sunni's rule supreme. :P http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Musl ... bution.jpg

Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
No, you said he came into an "incredibley difficult period", I said he didn't. Bill Clinton had the country doin' pretty well...The country got attacked, and George Bush did the right thing - He figured out who attacked us, and bombed the crap out of the locations that person was rumored to be at. Then he decided to deal with Saddam, which was completely irrelevant to us being attacked, and in retrospect, it is completely obvious he did it to finish his daddy's job he started and/or to get control of some oil. We should be in Afghanistan looking for Osama, which is pointless because he ain't there anymore, which we are. Yes, we have a right to be there. We have no right being in Iraq however and people who try to justify it are pathetic "War on Terrorism" supporters who take everything Bush says as gospel.

Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
What constitutes stability in Iraq? Is there any evidence that those conditions can ever be achieved by a foreign occupying force? So? It's not our war to fight. Quite frankly, it isn't any of the United States business if the Sunnis and the Shi'ites want to kill eachother. Maybe the United States original strategy of installling a dictator and giving him chemical weapons wasn't so bad after all. The "region erupting into war" thing is the war-cry of the Republicans. Ignore it. It makes no sense. They seem to think we're actually "controlling" things over there to some degree, when we're infact not. We're simply in the way of Sunni's and Shia's who are fighting over power in a place where the only thing keeping them from fighting is now gone and dead. I dunno' why the Shia's are bothering, personally. They're surrounded by Sunni's and are a vast minority (10%). Furthermore, I dunno' what the hell the difference between the two moronic groups are. They're all Muslims, but "Sunni" and "Shia" have different meanings, both having to do with Islam. It's just stupid.

Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
I don't understand why PaulT just doesn't move to the Middle East and have fun of making Americans. Probably because there are bombs in the middle east which are exploding, and he enjoys being able to sit in his comfy chair and whine in safety? :P I dunno' what was wrong with what he said, if anything, but that's why most people don't.

Last Name?
Your last name is just that - a stupid peice of text. It means nothing. You're not even royalty and never were, so it is even more worthless! Why would it make you feel like less of a man if you took your wife's last name? Absolutely ridiculous. I hope you guys don't grow up into macho wife-beaters, but that's how it starts.

Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
Well, beating Bush's last four years won't be too tough a job. Anyone who tries to end the confict as soon as possible would leave the place in all out civil war. However even sorting everything properly will still cause rifts between the three groups and whoever gets the oil. To be fair to Bush he did come into office at an incredibly difficult time first time & in this last term he's pretty much between a rock and a hard place. If he leaves Iraq he'll be seen as weak and if he stays the bodies will keep piling up - quite literally a case of "damned if you do & damned if you don't." I'm curious how he came into a "hard time"? The 9/11 attacks, or what? That wasn't a hard time, that was what started the hard time he created...

Three Big Questions to Ask Yourself
Hahaha, my posts were deleted because I pointed out the fact that he wasn't allowing answers that didn't involve God to be considered valid. Hilarious. Go go tip.it Nazi's, keep on truckin' for the cause. Very fair and just of you.

Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
You're absolutely right. I forgot to address this. This is the only way the Republican party will get into office, too. And Hilary throwing attacks out ALREADY by pointing out that Obama went to Muslim school or something is already going to start splitting the vote. That was an OBVIOUS unneeded political attack, because really, what is the relevance of him going to Muslim school? It means nothing, especially since I believe he said he's a Christian. She's just attacking him to split America towards voting for her. If you look into that, the only way that would work is if the American people were stupid and went "OMG! MUSLIM!" and that she believes they will. Guess what? It would have worked brilliantly if she said it in 2008, but she said it in o6/07 and noone is even going to remember then. She believes the American people are stupid enough to be swayed by that, so I'm not voting for her just off principle. I dunno' what all the canidates stand for yet, but I'm liking Obama personally. I've seen several times now when he was attacked and he basically said "Oh well?" rather than lashing back out. That's what we need...Someone who see's through the other person's political BS attacks and keeps goin' with his stuff.
-
Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
I am right. There's really no "if" about it anymore, the people of America really are, and let's be honest here, they're just that stupid. They do not differentiate between people, they differentiate between parties...Which is why I don't even know why we HAVE parties, but meh. :P And again, let's be honest, it doesn't matter WHO wins, it's going to be 4 years of awfulness either way. And 4 years after that, and then another. No matter who's in office, something is always goin' wrong and making everyone mad. War makes it all worse, but whatever. I suppose I was too young to really remember much, but when Clinton was in office, I don't remember people being so angry and stuff.
-
Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
I realize they're different, but the thing is that won't matter to people at all. Bush has seriously given them a bad name. Apart from Republicans offering gold bars for citizens in return for votes, I can't see them winning. :P It works the exact same way the mid-term Congress elections worked. Republicans lost out DIRECTLY from George Bush giving them a bad name.

Iran: Answering the Charges
They're not developing nukes now, but they could later. The world has no tolerance for countries developing weapons like that anymore, because they're not just a threat to one country when used, they're a threat to the entire world. Mimicking an explosion used by the Sun to power itself on Earth is usually not a good freakin' plan anywhere. We're taking Iran as a threat for two reasons: One, they've made threats against an ally of ours, and they're starting a nuclear program "for peaceful reasons" at the same time. It's not like we want to run into their country and pimp-slap their citizens, but we don't want them developing nukes behind our backs and then using them against Israel. Why they'd do that is beyond me, because messing around with an American ally is not very smart, but when religious reasons come into play, people do stupid stuff, so whatever. I doubt Iran is going to try to attack Israel, but they're supplying terrorist groups, and that's why we're suspicious in the first place. To say there's no proof of that is crazy, because you can see the types of weapons insurgents are using are made in Iran...Military issued.

Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
Yea, Obama could win if Hilary would shut her mouth about him being a Muslim, or being one in the past, whatever. Sadly I think she has a much better chance of winning. I personally won't be voting for her just because of her stance on video games. Trying to pass laws to make M rated games unpurchasable to minors (they already can't) by punishing retailers could make problems in general. I'm 99.99% sure a Republican will not win, and I'm only granting that extra .01% to them because I'm not a psychic. I don't even know who's running for Republican canidates, and I watch CNN *all day*.
-
Giuliani: Don't Be Conned
It's cute that he thinks he can win because he was in a political position in New York when 9/11 happened. Too bad he fails to realize that in 2008, the chance of a Republican becoming President is exactly 0% 70% of the country hates George Bush. Therefore, 70% of the country will not trust his party to not screw up like he did. Even the religious right cannot put their party in office. Democrats turn in 2008, unless they SERIOUSLY mess something up in Congress the next two years. Nancy and her tyrade about personal military plane usage for her family isn't freakin' helping them. She apparently thinks she's much more of a VIP than she is.
