  1. There's a huge difference between racism and stereotyping, and a lot of people don't seem to see that difference. Racism = Hating a race, just 'cause. Stereotyping = What you're all talking about. Can be wrong, can be funny. Racism is, of course, wrong. Stereotyping isn't, however. Most stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason. If someone DOESN'T belong in the group their perceived to, then unfortunately, they have to break that stigma about themselves and help others do the same. Black people are portrayed as loud-mouthed thugs, hispanics are portrayed as fence-hopping, kid-popping, 10-kids-in-a-Geo-Metro type people...Stuff like that. For the most part, it's absolutely true. Are ALL black people that way? No. All hispanics? Nope. But like I said, they're stereotypes for a reason. People see it once, they see it again, and again still, and it sticks. From what I see generally, things like that remain true. There are of course exceptions though...I have a black friend who's really cool and laid back, aswell as educated. No loud-mouthed thug there. People can go ahead and say I'm racist for my saying stereotypes are mostly true, but you'd just be proving you didn't get it, so go ahead. :P
  2. Oh right, considering the past 10 years were the HOTTEST YEARS EVER IN THE WORLD ( by a lot, off the charts type of a lot ) i want to see the chart of earthly temperatures you got that information from, starting from the day of the earth's creation. oh wait, that's impossible. I wouldn't know if it's the hottest it's ever been (well, the Earth was, at one time, completely molten rock, sooo...), but they can tell what temprature's were at certain time periods by like...Soil samples n' stuff. Whatever they use for that >.>.
  3. Apparently not being told as fiction. Weither it is or not is up for debate, but the Da Vinci Code is fiction, no debate about it. :P
  4. AND SUPER SPACE MONKEYS!
  5. and you've been to the center of the earth how many times... :-w just thought i'd point that out ...We know what's in the center of the Earth, and without it, we'd all be dead, soooo...Take your pick...There are mystical demons at the center of the Earth...Or there is a big ole' hunk of iron which we need to survive. Common sense these days, but okay. Actually I believe somewhere in the Bible it says that Angels and Demons can not be seen by mortal man. So you could have a demonic texas holdem game going on in your room atm and you wouldn't know. ;) Well yea, but the center of the Earth is just a bunch of iron. If Hell IS in the Earth, it's pretty unimpressive. :P Just a bunch of souls flyin' around in molten rock and metal. ...I personally would have hoped for better from God. :P

    P. acne is the bacteria which feeds off Sebum oil from your Sebacious glands in your skin. Everyone has this bacteria on their skin - Yes, everyone. Thus, the condition is called acne, scientifically. Everything else is slang. And yes, "itchy eyes" (dry eyes) goes along with the dry lips and stuff...Not everyone gets it, but it is a semi-common symptom aswell.

  8. goes against just about everything in the bible- that one line I have wondered (what i think is a better question) in the bible i believe that i remember there being a few stories (like moses and the egyptians) where other gods were not only mentioned but had power while lesser then Gods still powerful... Wonder if those gods are still around :-w Still, i havn't read the Bible in ages... lost mine on a trip and no chance to replace yet... its a pretty interesting read for some of yall out there... quite a few battles and fun stuff between the stuff you actually got to think about... From what I interpret people who use magic(yes people can use magic in a sense) get there power from demons, They try to tap into the "power" of the spirit realm and get possed by the demon(s). Explain how. There are people that claim they can. Pagans, Wiccans, blah blah.
  9. The Da Vinci code is ENTIRELY fiction, however, and was written to be as such.

Have you researched the numbers of people who have something ACTUALLY bad happen to them? Staggeringly low. Suicide - .0001% or something...Only like 2 or 3 cases can even be linked. I think it's complete BS personally, as does my doctor! ;) Genius of a man, he is. Liver damage - .01% And even then, it isn't permanent...Your liver heals itself. They monitor your triglyceride levels every month to prevent this. If they get too high, they take you off before your liver is harmed at all. Hair loss - .01% again! And it grows back! Night blindness - .001%, temporary. Etc etc. Almost everyone gets chapped lips (I'd wager everyone does) and most peolpe get dry skin...That's the bulk of the horribleness. I didn't even get dry skin when I was on it.
  11. Ever since it was proven that God isn't located in the sky as people thought (and Hell isn't in the Earth), people have just assumed they are in other "dimensions". There are 10 mathematically proven dimensions, and it's been mathematically suggested/proven that there are an infinate number of universes. ...So where is God? Who the hell knows. Noone has ever seen him, so meh. I do know however that God doesn't exsist in another dimension. A dimension isn't an area in which something can exsist past the first 4, the latter 6 are just theoretical (and mathematically proven) dimensions of which we could potentially travel on to get to other places...Or whatever. ..'Kay, confusing everyone.
  12. I believe they were in Hebrew. But if you are right, than you have found the most conclusive bit of evidence against them. Yea, it was in Hebrew, but it was translated to English and worked out perfectly? I don't understand how that'd be possible. It's interesting how it works out, but like I said...Why do they only find these AFTER the events happen? They're SO SURE these things exsist, yet are not using them to predict the future and stop events from happening...Interesting.
  13. Thanks for your amazing opinion. It may shock you that just because he speaks very articulately and clearly with a Southern accent does not make him [developmentally delayed]. In fact, it's fair to say that he has had better education than you will receive in your entire life. Which George Bush are you speaking of? The one in the white house doesn't have an articulate bone in his body. Everytime I see him speak, I literally chuckle at him for sounding like a fumbling middle schooler. There are entire websites dedicated to how badly he sucks at speaking. The Southern Accent has nothing to do with it.
  14. Does anyone find it odd that: 1.) They only find these "codes" AFTER these events happen or are known of? 2.) They're for some reason translated perfectly into ENGLISH, a language noone who wrote the Bible was even aware exsisted?

People in other countries like to over-simplify their terminology. You call pimples "spots" and elevators "lifts", for example. :P
  16. Ah shucks, You ruined my night, I was planning on sitting in the freezer :P Ahh, never mind, Wrong person. Update: Still feeling numb and funnny, Will be wearing gloves tomorrow : You have no idea how many people get frost bite, then to ease the pain, put ice on the area and it ends up falling off permanently.

I saw one of these in a town somewhere in Minnesota too...It was a side-view and the road leading up to it had brake-marks all over the road. :P
  18. THis is true, americans should be greatful for the prices of oil now...all of the european countries have tremendous gas prices Punishment for the British oppressing so many people, America included, in the past. :P But seriously, I wish they'd shut up about oil and start talking about hydrogen. The technology is there and they're not using it at all.

Well, with Accutane, probably the most heavy-duty medication for acne, doctors do regular blood tests to monitor cholesterol, liver function, etc. My doctor tells me that she has never had a patient with liver problems since she has been prescribing this. However, a lot of the medications may cause GI problems like acid reflux and heartburn. Exactly. They monitor triglyceride levels. Only .01% of people who take it ever have any liver damage...And besides, the liver heals itself completely. You can cut your liver in half and it'll grow back. :P
  20. She walked back into a burning house...so her feet would be warm? ...Honestly.
  21. That feeling is the feeling of your cells thawing out and snapping. It isn't a good sign, really. :P It hurts, but whatever you do, don't re-ice 'em. I doubt it will, but if anything turns black, THEN start worrying. Until then...Get some freakin' gloves! :P

If it isn't gone by the time you're 24, it's a good bet you're going to have it until you're like 40. :P Generally, it goes away between the ages of 18 and 24.

Proactive is junky too. :P All it's made up of is Salicyclic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide (the NORMAL thing companies have been peddling for 30 years) and they act like it's some magical new thing. Annoys the hell out of me, especially with their dumb celebrity endorsements. Not a damn single celebrity uses that crap, they all use Accutane because, ding ding ding...It works.
  24. School's like to ban everything involcing contact between two people. My cousin's school banned hugging...Even of same-sex friends. Pretty stupid, but whatever.
  25. Scientific advancement and space research? The US have tested hundreds of nuclear weapons but we haven't been plunged into a nuclear war yet. They're just flexing their muscle and testing the water. *Cough* The USA dropped two nukes on Japan once upon a time. I could see if they just wanted the satellite destroyed 'cause it was useless, but this should be considered an act of "war advancement", not...Uhh, space research. However you figured that. :P
