Barack Obama 08?
I wasn't aware that was even his middle name...And being someone who usually watches CNN all day, I'd reckon that won't be a huge factor. However, you overlook that his last name is OBAMA. Which just happens to rhyme with a certain someone in this country that everyone hates.

Who would you switch places with?
Probably BlueLancer. Seems like a guy who knows what he's doing in life...Maybe I could retain some knowledge from him since I have zero clue what I'm doing. :P

Barack Obama 08?
I'd vote for him on the fact alone that it would make racists extremely angry. Which would make me very happy.

Somethin' is fishy on my 'puter...
Yea, I basically feel like a dork now...Re-named it.... There. Sorry...You guys told me to do so much crap I just forgot, lol. I see some new crap on there that I don't remember putting there, so I'm sure you'll find bad stuff. I just wish I knew how to stop getting this crap on my computer. I have security all over the place and it just keeps comin'.

There were no back-up's listed, so. I took it out of the .zip file and rescanned...Got the same thing, so...lol.

American Sports Antics
Yes, because other countries are not notorious for their soccer riots and the odd soccer player head-butting a man in the chest thing. Just America.

Somethin' is fishy on my 'puter...
Ah, okay. I only fixed stuff that was obviously not supposed to be there. Like there was something called WinAntiVirus blah blah blah and that's what has been hijacking my browser every now and then, but it still happens...It's just been happening...Less. :P Alright, there it is. I see what you meant now. I was unaware it did that. :P Edit: Lemme' know what you see and how to fix it, especially so I know how in the future. Appreciate it, guys. Hooray for techies smarter than I!

10 Ways to Stop Racism
Indeed. People (blacks, hispanics, whoever) bring it upon themselves by playing the race card entirely too much. If something is racist, it'll be obvious. If it isn't, you shouldn't just play the race card "just because", 'cause it hurts society. Also, diversity in school is becoming racist. They'll turn away white kids/adults from schools so they can get more blacks in to look good on paper. It's ridiculous.

Somethin' is fishy on my 'puter...
Ditto. Rename Hijackthis[Caution] to scan[Caution]. I can see vundo from here which needs to be nuked but i can't do that until I get a full log. By that...Have you been fixing things with HJT? Yea. I don't get why you guys are saying to post...Text instead of a screen shot...Do you mean to copy/paste it to look stuff up or somethin'? *Shrug*, I thought this would be easier considering it doesn't censor anything via tip.it's lame censors. I'll scan again tomorrow (going to bed now) and post it though. You said you see Vundo or something...Um, I don't know how you see that, but I'd love to know so I can fix it. :P

Christmas is..?
There's a difference between Jesus exsisting and Jesus being the son of "God". When people say he didn't exsist, they mean he wasn't the sson of "God". Weither he exsisted as a person or not doesn't really matter. It isn't like he's the only person to have ever been named Jesus.

Don't dwell on the last thing you did, dwell on the better things. When she died, it's very likely the arguing wasn't on her mind, and she didn't care.

Somethin' is fishy on my 'puter...
'Kay, so...I'm careful about security on my computer, since I have a wireless connection. I have a firewall, Norton, Adaware, Spywareblaster, etc etc. I've ran them all and they've not ridded of the problem (Norton didn't - I was surprised...), so I come here. I ran HJT and deleted the obviously suspect things...Things that said Winantivirus, blah blah blah. Everything else looks fine, but I'm not *that* educated on computers. :P My problem is this: When I'm browsing, Winantivirus Pro will hijack my browser and take me to their page saying I should download their product. I'm obviously not that stupid. I'm also getting IE pop-ups (I use Firefox but have IE installed from when I bought the computer) that are ANNOYING. One of them takes up the full screen to the point where you have to move it just to hit "X" and it TALKS. It yells "CONGRATULATIONS! You've won -- blah blah blah" and goes on and on listing prizes I could get. That's beyond obnoxious and annoying, that's down-right harassment. Anything look suspect in this log? I don't see anything, but meh. I can't find anything suspicious in my program files...Nowhere. I know these aren't just random pop-up's because they're the same ones and they're popping up with IE when I use FireFox. They've been slowing my machine down too, so I have to get rid of them. Any help? The only one I know the name of is that WinAntiVirus Pro crap, and there's nothing I can find to get rid of it. Also, Trojan.Vundo keeps getting blocked by my firewall/Norton. Looking at it again, there are 3 that look suspect, but I'm not touching them because I've deleted enough. Don't want to push my luck and have it be something I needed. :P

Can God Hate?
I hope he does come back with a rebuttal so that I can penetrate it. Okay, sure. Your flying spaghetti monster is deemed to be a material being, God is not. Since it's contradictory to laws of physics for spaghetti to be intelligent and fly, your spaghetti monster cannot exist. God however, is a non-material being and thus science is completely irrelevant to His being. Now let's stop this crap about things designed to insult other's beliefs, it's quite intolerant. Umm...He's the flying spaghetti monster. He can do whatever he wants. (Woot, 1+ for using Christian theology on the spaghetti monster!)

Can God Hate?
Or rather, God the Son became a man, lived a perfect life, took the sins of the world upon himself, and died a painful death on the cross so that his rebelious creations could listen and obey. I don't believe I mentioned free will anywhere. Though if I'm happy with being a slave to God, why would I want to be free? It's the nature of love to bind itself. If I love God, then surely I am happy to not be free from Him. Then God failed, and Jesus isn't the Messiah at all. A great majority of people DON'T listen and they DON'T obey. Isn't a wonder then why Jews believe he wasn't the Messiah. 'Sides...Jesus' death wasn't that bad. People have been killed in much, much worse ways than what he got. His was like a 7 on a scale of 1-10, and that's if you count the pre-flogging, if that even happened. I haven't read enough of the Bible to know, but I watched The Passion of the Christ and it did...Could have just been for dramatic effect. ANYWAYS, if you don't include that, it was like a 5. Man, people nail themselves to crosses for FUN nowadays. I said so that they could, not that everyone would. Christ himself said that few will choose life in Him over rebellion. Now, I don't believe it matters whether or not crucifiction was the most painful possible death, but it's still pretty bad. Just look up a medical report of what happens to the human body during those hours on the cross. Ugh. I would think blood loss and dehydration would be about right. Not too bad. Plus, modern medical science tells us it was impossible to be crucified in such a fashion.

As much as people want peace and hugs and kisses here
Everything you said would be absolutely, undeniabley correct. ...IF there were any proof for God. There is not, so everything you said is wrong. You're basing this all on the opinion that God exsists. If you think for a moment that he doesn't (you're incapable, probably), you'd realize what you said makes no sense.

I'd feel like a total dork-bag if I missed out on Heaven just 'cause I didn't ever say "I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior."...It's kinda' easy. :P

As much as people want peace and hugs and kisses here
Since the Bible teaches that all humans are sinners, and that there will be many false Christians, I don't see any inconsistancy with a biblical worldview there. How do you know that one part is wrong? Because it goes against your own assumptions? Nevermind that the Christian idea of repentence means to turn completely away from sin, to cease the old habits of evil. The death and resurrection of Christ enables us to be forgiven of our old sins, and the Holy Spirit living in us enables us to not pursue sin. (This is not to say that Christians don't sin; the Bible teaches that there is still a battle between the sinful self and the Spirit of God in us for the rest of our earthly lives.) No, I'm saying you don't even consider that your assumptions may be wrong. You don't have to reject you assumptions; I'm just asking that you set them aside and try to see the world based on a different set of assumptions. If you don't try to do that, how can you understand those people and their beliefs? And how can you dismiss as false something which you don't understand? I've also been told since I was a small child that the planets orbit around the sun. I've also been told since I was a small child that apples grow on trees. Because I was a stupid child, and these things were drilled into my young mind, people shouldn't believe me when I say them. Whether or not someone was "brainwashed" into believing something has no bearing on that something's validity. And how many adults would believe the planets orbit around the sun if I told them today, but they had been told since childhood that they didn't? No matter what it is, if you walk up to a person and tell him something that goes against what he's always been taught, he's going to resist. The Egyptians were also notorious for destroying records of rulers or events they didn't like. Yes, so people say. Egyptians were notorious for being great record keepers...Except they tossed everything they didn't like. That's convenient. I'm curious where the proof of that is, since it's obviously been tossed and never found. *Shrug* The planets orbiting the sun is a bad analogy on your part. That's a proven and provable fact. The Bible/God, aswell as Santa, is not. Trust me, I've considered that my assumptions (as you call them) were wrong. Who wouldn't want to believe in God? Who wouldn't want to believe when you die you go to a great place called Heaven? Only an idiot would not want such a thing. But when you read the Bible, and take note that there is no evidence, it's quite hard to follow it without following it completely blindly, and following something blindly is just a sign of stupidity. Lemmings, I believe most people would call that. Fun game, too. And I didn't mean the "Hell" part was entirely wrong as in it isn't a fact, I mean it is wrong, morally, to tell people they will burn eternally for not following you. That is something a cult would do to scare people into becoming members, and it works wonderfully, especially on children, who do not understand that these adults telling stories could be completely WRONG. They take it as fact and would really like to avoid burning in flame eternally. Mmmhmm.

Can God Hate?
Umm. Right. So God is up in heaven flogging himself with stones because his creations dunno' how to listen. Okie dokie. Whatever you say. There is still no free-will. You're never truely free until you give God the finger and say it's all crap. Heck, even I haven't gotten to experience that freedom. As much as I think the Bible is crap, unfortunately, society has brain-washed a fear of God into everyone.

Can God Hate?
God giving a specific command in a specific context to kill a group of people does not make it universally acceptable to kill that group of people. And there isn't any contradiction between being told to give people the death penalty, then later being told to forgive those people instead. There's two covenants in the Bible - one old, one new. Under the old (Abrahamic) covenant, the focus was on the law and doing justice. Under the new (Messianic) covenant, the focus was on salvation from the law. (This covenant did not free people to break the law, but to obey it without worrying about messing up. It did not provide license to sin, but freedom to do good.) (Also, there is still mercy in the old covenant, such as sacrifices and cities of refuge, and there is still judgement under the new covenant.) Therefore, it is no contradiction for those under the old covenant to be told to kill lawbreakers, while those under the new covenant are told to forgive and instruct them. The new covenant began with Christ, which is why Christians don't stone people for adultery - the new covenant of Christ supercedes the old covenant of the law. Ohhhh, okay. So God first said it was cool to stone people for such things (there is no context for it to be taken out of, either. It's flat-out 'do this, die' stuff), then Jesus came and said "Whoa, whoa. Cut that out." And Jesus is God, so God was wrong at first and wanted change. And God is infallible. Makes perfect sense now that you put it that way. ...No. It's still pretty dumb.

I wasn't trying to prove the truth or existence of anything; I was showing that the doctrine of the Trinity is a logically consistant view, not some ridiculous dogma that the Church shoves down everyone's throats, and that it makes the God of Christianity substantially different from Allah. And yes, you have said it was impossible; in fact, I think I recall you calling it "bullcrap." As for "Thou shalt not kill," many laws have justified exceptions or qualifications. For example, "honor your parents, in the Lord." (Obey your parents, unless they tell you to break the law.) If the Bible says not to kill, but later says "Do kill in this situation," then it's logical to assume that's an exception to the rule. Except...The Bible says it's okay to kill pretty much everyone, lol. Women, children, elderly, it really doesn't matter. If they do X, you can kill them. Most of "X" are extremely pety things. You talked back to your parents? DEATH! You stole? DEATH! People make mistakes, and the Bible says in one part to forgive these people, and in another to straight-up kill them without question. It also says it's cool to keep slaves. So long as you don't beat them to the point of death...So it's okay to beat them, just not to death? Okay, thanks for that tip, all-forgiving God. Sounds more like Satan talking to me. Hmm. That'd be the greatest thing ever. Satan wrote the Bible to trick people into being le' ebil. Ha. Yea, no thanks. I'll just live my life how I want to. I don't particularily want to kill a man for having sex with another man. That's his choice.
