  1. I thought they taught that style because when done properly, it's faster? Or maybe it just does less damage to your hands? Heard that somewhere. They probably teach it because they like to give everything it's own system and discourage people from being creative, lol. Personally, I never typed "properly" in the class. I passed doing it my way.

Its "Ridiculous", and I never called him a ricer. I asked him if he was one, theres a big difference. I'm allowed my typo's and mispellings, Captain Grammar. You asserted that he's a ricer because of the car he drives. That is stereotyping. I believe you've said you drive a Camaro...Should I ask you if you are a backwards hick? Because most of them are stereotyped as driving Camaro's.
  3. Your point is moot (Ghost's word \ ) without anything to support it. I know you are wrong. I want you to find that out yourself. Things can be taken out of context with about everything. You can also do a Google search. If you are going to say Jihad, I have an answer. "Jihad is an Arabic word that means "striving in the way of God." This striving can take a number of forms, including the daily inner struggle to be a better person. However, jihad is often used to refer to an armed struggle fought in defense of Islam. That is what the religion says. So the specific religion of Islam is not one of war. When translated into a holy war, this does not mean an actual war. This means an inner struggle. I hate all those [wagon] who went out and gave my religion a bad name. I'm sure you "know" I'm wrong. I'm sure you've even "read" everything about Islam!

Disliking ricers is fine. It's when you use stereotypes to label someone a ricer; that's when it gets rediculous.
  5. Go find it, lol. I'm not going to read the entire thing to find it, I just came across it once a while back. That's exactly what it said - to convert people to Islam even by way of the sword.

Wow. Spoiled kids never cease to amaze me. Yes, $15,000 for a first car is only "decent". Must be nice to have mommy's money. Geeze. Poopingman, get off the whole "ricer" thing. Noone cares anymore if someone is a ricer or not. Get over it. Wrong. No, seriously. Noone cares. The Fast and the Furious is over. It's done with. Move on.

  8. Are you trying to say games on the X360 is innovative? They're awesome yeah, but even Gears of War is just another duck-and-shoot FPS game with boosted graphics. As far as I know of, Gears of War is actually pretty innovative. It's a fast-paced duck-n'-cover 3rd person shooter (or first person if you want, whatever) with uber graphics and gameplay. The story is kinda' short, though. The only other franchise I know of that has gameplay like it at all is Killzone, and I believe I've heard Rainbow Six Vegas has a lil' bit too. Gears of War is an extremely refreshing change from the rave-review games like Halo and Half-Life where you just run out in the open and blast away while being hit full-force. If you do that in GoW, you die within seconds. My only problem with the game was the Roadie Run, where you'd get caught on a wall sometimes while holding A. Not too big of a deal. It kinda' combines an FPS with a Stealth game. You're not trying to be sneaky per-say, but you're trying to hide to not get hit. And we all know - the best games ever made are the games that mix genre's. Like Spore coming out, which will RULE. :P
  9. I wish I could go back aswell. They always tell you that you will, and you always laugh. They're right, though. The thing I hated was the pointless classes. The ONLY thing you'll ever need FOR SURE in life is math. Science is good to learn, as is History. English? Only a little. Honestly, I don't care what a verb or a noun is. Noone does. Gym? Snore. They need to rename it "Second Recess Babysitting". Lots of time wasted there. School's need to get rid of gym class and sponsor activities during recess instead. You think that if, at recess, you throw down a game of dodgeball that everyone won't play? Yea, whatever. Everyone would be all over that. I liked gym, but it's 40 minutes of time you should be spending learning. Typing class was pointless...They FORCE you to type in a way that may not be natural to you. For instance, typing in the "proper" (home-row) fashion, I type like 20 WPM, but typing in my own way, I type over 90. Plus my teacher was a beached whale who dripped sweat on you when he walked by. Literally. Barf. That's all I can think of. School's waste too much time babysitting and not enough time teaching. They wonder why test scores suck.

    From your frame of reference ;) From the available data, which could be wrong for all we know. And as history tells us, will be one wrong theory in a long line of wrong theories. You can't even begin to "refute" a theory yourself. You are not a scientist, and they are MUCH smarter than you. What you "think" virtually means *nothing*. I've seen nothing here to even begin to refute Dark Matter. You're all going on and on about how you can't see it, or something. So? You can't see Black Holes, either, but we know them to be factual. You see them by looking at the radiation and whatnot that they emit. They are saying that Dark Matter apparently emits nothing to view, so it's a theory on why some things have more mass than they should. Is it wrong because it makes no sense to you? =;
  11. I don't get it...People are saying it was part CGI, part Game-Play... It all looked like CGI to me. All of it. The only thing I could have thought of as game-play was right at the end where he jumped into those guys, and een that still looked like CGI. *Shrug*
  12. So apparently, that was Master Cheif as a child. And I'm sure his sister or whatever that was will be in the storyline. Yay for Fable repeats! :P But seriously, I'm a lot less excited about Halo after playing Gears of War. Halo will just be another "stand in the open and fire" shooter like all the rest. Whine.
  13. 80%, huh? The Wii has like 20 games out. I can count on one hand the ones that are even worth playing. Zelda is the only GOOD reason to buy it. On the horizon, the 360 also has all the good games comin' out. I have yet to see anything that was not going to be on the 360 that made me say "Oooo, maybe I should get a Wii/PS3!". There is no need. Everything that matters comes out on the 360. They were the first ones out of the gate, so they got a lot of the game franchises to come on to them. My opinion is unbiased, of course. I have neither of the 3 consoles, and I buy my consoles based soley on the games that are available. So far, the 360 is winning with no contest. Would I pay $250 to play Zelda? No. It's a great game, I hear, but no. I'd wait to see if game developers are actually going to support the Wii. The didn't support the Gamecube for crap. They've said they wanted to work witht he controller and stuff, but so far noone has said they're making any cool games for it. PS3 is nice if you want to play 360 games (almost exclusively) and try to convince yourself that the extra $200 price tag is because it has better graphics, and not because it has a $1000 Blue-Ray player in it, lol.
  14. ...Okay, but you'd more than likely be crushed into a tiny ball of matter. :P
  15. He's only "technically" into the future because he has traveled farther than Light itself has in a total of 0.2 seconds, apparently.
  16. Yea, I watched it a while ago. Someone posted it on Ebaumsworld.com. Hey, try looking for it on Google instead. It might have been on there. Infact, I believe it was...I'm just so used to using Youtube. :P
  17. But that is really just an excuse. Nowhere in Islam does it say violence is right. It says that you should do anything to convert people to Islam...Even through use of violence. I cannot remember the exact words, but it says something about turning everyone to Islam, even through use of a sword.
  18. It's nothing special, really, GhostRanger. Not as far as I know of anyways. Like I said, it's all so heavily theorized and made into fiction that people expect a Delorian flying around taking us all on field trips...It just isn't like that. Going forward or back in time seems to be a hypothetical and non-literal statement. 'Cause if someone is already ahead of time, and they're still walking around with us, then obviously nothing has happened to him. Unless they're saying "Well, he's TECHNICALLY ahead of time", which he is. But the sense of going back/forth in time is far from reality. I mean, some even think you may be able to fly into a black whole and go faster than the speed of light to come out the other side in a different time zone...Lawl. Should take a look at the BBC video...The one scientist even has a machine built for time-travel. Sending messages in it, anyways. Apparently they've never used it yet, because they said if they were to turn it on, they may receive messages from the future. *Shrug*
  19. Time Travel is all heavily theorized. Like, more than anything. If you look on youtube for Time Travel, there is a BBC report or something that is very interesting, but it's soooo heavily theorized. For example, there are a select few Astronauts who have flown on so many missions that they are technically ahead of us in time by a fraction of a second or whatever. Obviously, they're still walking around with us here, though. And flying around the Earth at an hour per revolution wouldn't do much of anything, that's pretty slow in Light-Speed terms. :P

I've rented every Tomb Raider game ever made. Every single one SUCKED.
  21. Depends what you want. The Wii has like two good games out, and so far I'm not aware of anything note-worthy on the horizon.. The 360 has a lot of great games, and more coming. I'd buy a Wii just to play Zelda, but I'm going for the 360 because they have all the awesome games. Even PS3 doesn't have their selection.
  22. Tigra00 replied to ice_ring's topic in Off-Topic
Trust me, just because you've come to some "conclusive theory" doesn't mean it's wrong. Who are you to even begin to comprehend what they're talking about? I'm just curious, like...If you have a college degree in Astrophysics, I might take you a bit more seriously. If a scientist can look at something trillions of miles away and calculate its mass and find out that it has 400 times more mass than it should, he's probably on to something. I dunno' how they find that information out, but he's obviously much more intelligent than you, and probably doesn't need your help in theorizing the make-up of the entire known Universe.
  23. All religion's start off as cults, like it or not. A lot of them can still be considered cult-like. You don't have to drink Arsenic-Punch and think you're an alien to be in a cult. Even most of Christianity itself today is cult-like. There are dozens of different branches and they all have extreme views. Not a damn single one of them can even agree with eachother. Same for the Muslim religion. There are people who blow themselves up in the name of Allah. That's pretty extreme. Same for Hindu's. They worship cow's for gods sake. Ever see the video of the Buddist monk lighting himself on fire to protest government? Yea, that's extreme too. Not too familiar with Jews, they're like Christians, only minus Jesus and bacon. They're not allowed to write the name of god on anything that can be destroyed, either, apparently. Guess I can't say much bad stuff about them, they stay low-profile. Lol.

I drove a '95 intrepid until last month when some old man hit me and totalled it...Now I drive...Nothing. My parents gave it to me...It was only driven for like 4 years, so it had pretty low miles, it was cool.

Sadly, I don't read very much. I should though. It's blatantly obvious to me that the more you read, the smarter you are. I read stuff on the 'net all the time, but I never really read books anymore... Currently interested in the Warcraft series, but haven't gotten any of 'em.
