  1. It's to stop kids from dropping out for no reason. And it will work.
  2. I wish my life could be this petty...
  3. It's the concept. If a rat's stem cells can heal it's spinal cord, why could a human's not do the same? There is nothing special about a rat's stem cells. They're not magical.
  4. Yes yes, we know he is a dork. Whoever said he was a racist (against Jews) however, is wrong. He sells the book on his website because he's a conspiracy theorist and he believes it was written to blame problems on Jews, or something. Yea, he's kooky and I don't believe any of it, but I just wanted to watch the other vids. :P
  5. I did the same thing you did. I went to an IT school when I was 17 for CNC machining and I ended up not liking it at all, so I got my money back minus like $300 since I had been going for a month-ish. I'm sure your parents would rather see you do something you WANT to do. So just tell them you ended up not liking it at all and you want to try something else. Usually with parents, it's not what you're doing, it's that you're doing something, period. :P
  6. It doesn't matter if there's an edge. Really, it doesn't. We'll never see it, especially if it's still moving outwards.
  7. Personally, I'd rather have cancer *and* AIDS, at the same time, over Ebola Zaire. :P
  8. I didn't think the shark should not be killed. I also didn't think it should be killed. I thought it best to leave the decision up to the family. Personally, it wouldn't be worth the time and money to kill it. But if they wanted to, it's their choice. /OT I just wanted to know, your title says 100 reasons, yet you say two videos gave you six reasons. Was the title supposed to be 10 reasons? The title of his series is "100 reasons", but I didn't count them. In the two videos, he probably gave 20+, so it's about right. And no, I said I saw two videos, and there are six total. :P I just found them interesting. I like how people can make up entire histories/stories by just linking a few things that MIGHT be related. It's like reading a book, only about us. :P
  9. Ahhh...So THAT'S the cure for global warming! CALL AL GORE!
  10. Easy way to end this: Everyone under 18! ATTENTION! Please stop talking. You don't know anything. You're making your fellow age-group who MIGHT know something look stupid. Thank you.
  11. Wow. That's pretty horrible. There are already so few of them, and one little virus wipes a large portion out. Geeeeeeeez.
  12. Damnit, people. For the last time, I just wanted to WATCH THEM. They were "interesting", meaning that I like to hear about other people's interpretations of things. I DON'T NEED TO BELIEVE THEM TO HEAR THEM. Yet here I am. On Tip.it. Where even when I say I DON'T believe something, people try to prove me wrong. :-s
  13. Evidently so. I said twice in that statement I didn't believe it, and once that science was teaching us some shady stuff. And they are. I researched everything he brought up a bit (paused the movie to check :P) and there were several sites I found just on google that were NOT Christian-babble websites saying the same thing. I don't believe dinosaurs jumped around with humans, lol.
  14. You see my posts. Do I seem to be one who would listen to such ramble?
  15. Or we can do what I posted for; give me the links to his other 4 video's, if you know of them. I wanted no debate (I knew one would start, but I didn't want one) and I don't agree with him, I just thought it was interesting. Of course I don't believe we should teach religion instead. And all Church leaders are charged with crimes. It's what they do, or somethin'. Ya' got Ted Haggard humpin' guys and saying it's wrong, ya' got a ton of them charged with fraud and tax evasion... Yea, I don't listen to them. For obvious reasons. I just wanted to watch the other. darn. videos.
  16. Google links are blocked on tip.it (huzzah!) apparently, so I can't post the one I'm watching like I wanted to. If you want to see it, it's on Google Video and it's of the same title and consists of part 1 & 2. But I have two things to say... First: Does anyone know where to find the rest of 'em? I've spent two hours watching 1 & 2, and he's mentioned up to "Six" so far, so I'm looking to watch the other four. I enjoyed the first two, but was left with many questions I would have asked him. If anyone could direct me to them, I'd appreciate it. Second: I recommend ya'll watch them. They're pretty interesting and so far he has yet to show anything more than a spoonful of Christian bias, which is refreshing. You can only sense it a lil' bit...For the most part, you wouldn't even be able to tell, without assuming, that he was religious at all. I wasn't aware that so many things in text books were so far outdated, yet still included. I'm not one to just take something someone says as fact just because it SOUNDS good, especially when they're biased, but I did a lil' research and it would seem pretty much everything the guy has said was true. Now, I don't know about the whole 6,000 year old Earth crap, but I'd have to admit, science is teaching us misinformation on some parts of "science". ...Of course, I don't think religion should be taught in it's place, but Doubleyou Tee Eff! Don't flat-out tell things that aren't true, amirite? But even if he were lying aswell, it wouldn't matter, I still enjoyed it - he's a pretty good speaker. So yea, if anyone knows where part 3-6 is, throw me a PM or post 'er here if you can without it being cencored by the local Tip.it Soviet.
  17. I don't know...Have no stance on it at all? You openly bashed autoers and said you'd never auto. That's what makes you a tool. I don't care if anyone autoed or not, but when you do it and try to hide it by protesting against it, it's the same thing as doin' the dirty with your sister and saying she's icky at the same time. It doesn't mean you still aren't doing it, so why bother speaking up against it? ...Probably because you wanted to hide it! How the hell did you even bring up me autoing?? I was confused about somebody's name for [bleep] sake Someone said something about you being banned for autoing. I was no suprised. Don't change the subject! \
  18. Speaking of puppies.. ...I'm hungry.
  19. Yea, I think I read that the accepted size of the Universe is currently 78 billion light years accross...And growing, some think.

  21. Can you access the game on the US servers too then? I don't understand, unless you have a US version of the game...
  22. ...You can't make your own bed?
  23. Yea, to me, those games you listed are all worthless, lol. But like I said, that's just *to me*. In my eyes, the Wii just has a punch of kiddie-styled games and they're pumping out more, which is lame. I played RedSteel, it was pretty bad, lol.

Mine is the 3L diesel and I had it up to 160km/hr, the the speedometer only goes up to 160km/hr. They are great vehicles and so versatile with so much room, plus with a few modifications they are excellent off road. The IFS versions also are nice and comfy to ride. It is also plenty of room in the boot to sleep in, I would choose one over a van any day. Mine tops out at 108 mph, and it takes a whole lot of road to get there. Oh if only a diesel Helix Surf could be registered in America... I wish I could get a hold of one. One option is to get a diesel engine and convert an American 4Runner to work with it, but again it won't pass emissions. Speaking of getting cars registered in America, how was it getting that Skyline registered here? As far as I know there's only one company in the United States, Motorex out of California, that can get them legally converted to work in the United States. But it's always possible to drive a car that can't be registered, as long as you don't get caught... I wondered the same thing. Here in Minnesota, they're illegal to drive no matter what. I've heard several different reasons why, so I'm not entirely sure.
