  1. It's in Leviticus too. Here's a quote from King James Verison as written on Bible.com (For those who don't understand, if two men have sex they should be killed.) Looking at the rest of Leviticus, you can't use all of what's in there as later passages in the Bible condradict it and a lot of it are outdated rules for life (usually to stop incest) that are strict and asuming that everything to do with nakedness is sin. >.< Also, Leviticus is the typical wrathful god book of the bible and (if it's the Christian version) is mostly ruled out by Jesus' death and God's suddenly change of heart to pure love. I do agree with the whole Paul thing. Overall, the places in the Bible (at least the only ones I've ever found) are from the places that are most seeming to have been tainted by man. In this day and age I find that to be an extremely narrow-minded view. I can easily understand why people don't like it and feel threatened. Religion is, has, and always will be an incredibly powerful and dominant factor in everything us humans ever do. I don't like it either, but I can understand it and if you can't understand the opposite side of the argument you can't effectively argue your side (what's the exact quote for that, I can't remember it).
  2. Real headbangers make fun of guys with mullets. To headband you need long hair everywhere. That's what I was like for a few years, but there got to a point where my hair wouldn't grow anymore so I cut it off, donated it, and kept it short-ish every since. :D lol yea mullets are really more towards redneckish JOE DIRT!! but anywho im not really into rock...just alternative, punk, and country He's the only one to ever be able to pull off a mullet. =P
  3. Thanks, it makes sense now. Personally, I still think we can reach the speed of light though. There's no solid proof that we can (because we haven't), but also no proof we can't (it's all based on theory and it would be much harder to actually prove that we can't).

:XD: That pretty much sums it up. :D
  6. Err... or it just goes to da decomposers :-k . It's not destroyed, it simply reenters the life cycle. No magic there. The whole "energy" argument is cute guys, but it's pretty illogical to try and force something like the soul into the category of natural phenomena :| . There is no precedent for energy being retained to sustain consciousness, and all we know about energy points to the contrary of these arguments... just say it's supernatural and be done with it. Me, I don't believe in the soul... just for how illogical the concept is. What, was there some line in this races history where all of a sudden "poof", we had a soul? Why should only we have a soul, and not other living organisms? Hate to say it, but I've always considered the soul to be little more than a story to help the little tikes sleep at night :| . Soul came into play with religion and the idea of the after-life, which had been around for centuries. It's more than just a story to give people comfort, it is part of human nature to want there to be something more and explain that something more through any means necesary. Humans also usually consider themselves above other species, so we're the only ones thought to have a soul (in most cases). I actually agree with you about the presence (or rather absense) of a soul, just putting in my own opinions.
  7. Is that really all (or most) of the Captain Planet episodes? I know we just met, but I love you. Also, they didn't pull it from any witch religion. They pulled it from ancient greek and paganistic religions. Pagan and anything witch-related religion are very different (the witch-related religions usually just rip off of paganistic ones but add stupid things). Thanks again. *adds link to first post*:D
  8. Well you should just get 70 mining. Other than buying from NPC stores you can make yourself with the brewing skill, and no, it is not commonly sold, but you could probably find people to make it and sell to you.
  9. I don't know. Next time, don't be so trusting. I have no idea what items he had with him, so no one can really tell you what he kept.
  10. Now for pictures of my adorable cats after I scoured my C drive looking for them. =P From left to right: Fiyero (white and grey), Fabio (orange), and Honey (tabby) Fiyero and Fabio sleeping. Fiyero and Fabio still sleeping. I miss them like the devil as I've been 4000 miles away for about 2 months and have another 2 weeks to go.
  11. Awww... :( I feel bad, I'm more of a cat person, but that dog is adorable.
  12. You don't seem to understand the difference between a book and a grocery list. Would you like to enter tutorial mode? I laughed at that for about 2 minutes. Hahaha! :XD: :XD: Seriously though, I don't think it's a big deal. She stated in the past that she's going to keep writing. Good for her for sticking to that, but I also don't see the point in having a topic about it until we actually know something about the book (other than it's genre).
  13. Quest: Make more than 25 bottles of rum in Trouble Brewing (25 is my max if anyone got higher let me know). Reward: Some nice experience and PoE. :D If anyone wants to take this seriously, send me a pm here or in game.

Ignore the randomness. Being a webcomic updated daily, it jumps like that (though I didn't see it as much as people are talking about). Just stick with the main points and use sub-divisions to add in little notes about the random plot jumps.
  15. totally agreed. altho there are those that abuse the 'right to be a mod' and start to merch in world 2. I'm a pretty bad merchanter, but I've tried my hand at it and have never seen a player mod merchanting. I may just be unobservant though. :-k In my overall experience with player mods, I have found them to be helpful, rule abiding runescapers. There have been some exceptions, but there always will be. Overall, I think they do help, but since they can't have the powers of J mods (which I'm glad they don't), they can't have an real effective on autoers.
  16. Actually, there is at least one test reactor, a fusion reactor where the energy used to maintain the fusion reaction is "slightly" larger than the actual output. Joint European Torus or somesuch. Really? I've never heard of this. Source, proof, or what have you?
  17. No offense or anything, but I don't think that made much sense :-s . You can't "move the universe", just the matter in it, and moving the matter around you doesn't make you go any faster. Where are you getting all this moving-the-universe stuff from :-s ? This sounds like an episode of Futurama I saw a few years ago. If that's where you got it from...
  18. Seriously? That sounds right logically, but I want to see some kind of source. :-k
  19. I have always been madly in love wih prayer. :D
  20. Cats are intelligent? They don't even know their own name half the time. I hate cats, they're pointless. That's cats are too independent to need to be named. =P My cats seem to know what we call them though. Also, to those who say cats are cold, it's because you have to earn their love. Dogs just love anything that moves (unless it was messed up), but cats you have to earn the love. My cats love me and I miss them dearly (I'm 4000 miles away from them).
  21. Thank you for the insults to my intelligence and age. First I'll attend to that last line of yours. Stupidity (and calling me slow) implies that my intellect is below average. I'm not going to get specific, but allow me to assure you that is not the case. Calling my opinion ignorant is just wrong. I'm not going to pull out the dictionary.com defintion on you, but ignorant means that I'm uninformed or lacking knowledge. I'm not, I have read the bible, I have done personal studies on many different viewpoints, and I've been to numerous churches. I'm not ignorant and have based my opinions and beliefs on the conclusions of my researching and own feelings. Calling me ignorant because you don't agree with me is a bit infantile. Allow to quote the definition you used: The injury, harm, and humiliation are the anti-gay laws, beatings, killings, and overall mistreatment of homosexuals by the government and individuals. The "harm" that the homosexuals have commited is them being homosexual. Just it being against someone's religion makes them hate it (and sometimes the person) and some (slightly more radical people) take it as a personal insult to their way of life. Murder and rape is against the law and the majority of people's morals (the minority are of course the murderers and rapists). I have already posted my feelings on the bible and will post them one more time: You're more than welcome to speak out against something you don't believe in (that's the marvel of free speech), but you can't condemn people from happiness just because your holy text is against it. I don't have any kind of statistics, but I hope that the majority of people aren't against homosexuality. Well, that's what I have for you (without resorting to degrading you), I'd appreciate it if you stopped bluntly insulting me. It's very rude and doesn't make your point look any more right or you any smarter.
  22. I will be that guy! "You're born homosexual." I was actually referring to that in my post on the previous page and I now quote myself: I don't quite understand that gay toddler bit, but rapists and murderers are half-born, half-choice. People can be born naturally violent or with a messed up mind making them violent. That's the born part. The choice comes into play when they supress they violent urges or not. That choice can become harder depending on family life and other experiences, but it is still possible to choose for the better. I know many naturally violent people who have become pacifists to surpress their inner-rage and use that energy for constructive pursuits. I only wish all were that way. :( With homosexuality though there is no choice other than denying your true self. Violence can be changed to energy for the better. Surpressing who you really are just makes you miserable and depressed. People who claim to have been gay and choosen to be straight are kidding themselves and aren't truly happy on the inside. So, yeah, I'm that guy saying that you're born gay.
  23. I like mixing up terminology. :D I don't understand how we'd need an infinite amount of energy? If light travels with that kind of energy why don't we stop wasting our time and find out how to harness if for ourselves, like greedy little humans should.

Geez.. from my perspective I have no idea how to read that, as I could easily see myself realistically making a post like that :XD: (seeing as how I already finished the comic, and I have in the past watched 10+ episodes of subbed Bleach in one day, and I love FMA even more than Bleach :-w ). God, it feels weird having to just stop at the end of the comic... waiting for Monday :ohnoes: . I've tried to go back and outline it, I've practically read the whole thing twice right now (and the pages/sub-stories I liked much more than that  ), but I can't find a way to outline it. It's just so random- one panel Ash and Em are talking about they're problems, the next they're on the mountain getting ready for a race. It just jumps around so much, and I can't find any concrete bases in the story to set up "chapters", or to at least divide the comic up. I considered dividing it up by races, as the comic does have a nice even list of multiple races and preperations for them (with many other pieces of plot in between), but that would make it difficult to outline the last big part of the comic, and a majority of the comic doesn't deal with cars and racing, considering the whole Misfile thing being the main subject of the series... So, does anyone have any ideas for outlining it? I have ideas for labeling parts of the story where certain things happen (appearance of Ash's Devil and Angel side, Vashiel and Rumisiel vs. Cassiel, blush/affection scenes between Ash and Em [including/stetching to panels like this], etc.) but I can't find a way to properly outline the entire comic. So.. uh, any ideas? Depends on what kind of outline you're doing. Personally, I would outline by dividing into characters and using interactions and feelings with other characters to divide it further. That might get repetitive. So, a smarter idea would probably be to first divide into the books and then further by the major events in the book (noting interactions and character changes of course). Well, that's an idea for you. Edit: Having a seperate division for how heaven, hell, and the great filing system thing works would be good too. You should definately post it here when your done it though. :D
