  1. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. The only thing I really have to say about that is the baby crying thing. Because, you know, that the baby needing something and not being able to communicate on the same medium older humans can has nothing to do with the fact why they cry. :-s
  2. An embryo is different from a human who regards himself as an individual. I'm not sure how what you said had anything to do with what MyPurpleCrayon said, but how is an embryo different from a human who regards themselves as an individual. This is a key point in this kind of discussion, because an embryo is only an under-developed human. Therefore, the embryo has the potential to be that human, it just hasn't reached that point yet. In essence the whole argument over where life really starts.
  3. It's more damn annoying than anything. Most rc pkers are total amatures in the first place, I do emotes and run around them tons of times just to expose their lack of speed. :XD: Rc pkers are a joke, I've never feared them to begin with. :P I like killing them and taking their stuff (usually runes and potions) to show their lack of any pking skill (though one can argue it takes no skill), because I never click other players unless it's an RC Pker.
  4. I may be mistaken, but I could have sworn you said that exact same statement a few months back, minus the big bang thing. Maybe I'm just imagining things.. So what if he did? Even if he did say the exact same thing before he's still right.
  5. I agree that the economy isn't out of control, but it was obvious with the release of construction that Jagex wanted to take money out of the economy. Not sure how they stand on it now, but this would be a great way to get money out of the economy. I know I'd probably put about a million into this just for fun (and I'm not one to waste money on something that doesn't help me function-wise).
  6. President of the United States. I love politics and I'd love to make some key changes. While I think President is impossible, I wouldn't doubt that a few of you may see me running for something in the future. =P
  7. You make excellent points. What ticks me off about them so much is their cowardice. At least 80% of the RC pkers I've gone back to kill have been cowards. Without even putting up a fight to see if they can kill me they escape. Escaping is all good, but at least put up a fight. If youre attacking people who generally don't fight back and then run when someone does fight back... that's just shameful. :shame:
  8. Wow. Never knew you dropped by here lol! Most crewbies run a mile form this place. :P IMHO, it really makes no difference. It's ridiculous and untrue to suggest you have to choose your career so young. TBH, none of us really know until we're in our early/mid 20s. I'm not sure what TBH means (dang chat speak >.<) but I disagree. I know people how at 5 knew what they wanted to be, actually stuck with it, and are now happy and successful in their profession. That's an extreme example, but many people know by sophomore (spelling?) year in high school (myself included). I also think it's a great idea to try out career choices like that young so you can use less time picking a major and future career (if you haven't already decided).
  9. Is that supposed to be a bad thing? I would find that incredibly fun and make posion a much bigger threat in that game.
  10. This topic was made about a month ago, I'm not sure if this thread is against the rules since this topic isn't on the first few pages, but it has more theories in it though.
  11. Username: Deathlord552 Ranged Level: 67 Attack Style: Rapid Item Used: Mithril Bolts (Rune C'bow) Max hit: 17 I was waiting for this. :D I love how people keep putting yup red chinchompa hits. =P
  12. Exactly what I was thinking, plus it's against the rules. >.< Don't you think they are already doing that, pedophiles do not need to be told who the children are, sadly they are pretty good at figuring it out. I am in favor of this idea because I am an older player. I am 40 yrs old, and yes I have a life (job, hubby, 2 kids, dog,rl friends, house, etc.) but I still enjoy gaming. I think it would be nice to play without people asking me to be their gf. It freaks me out when people in game are hitting on me, and I know full well they are probably between the ages of 13 - 18, if not younger, it almost makes me feel as if I am the pedophile. As a mother I would not feel comfortable with my 13 yr old child having an online relationship with a 40 year old whom I did not know, and therefore don't feel comfortable doing the same to other peoples' children. In my opinion the worlds would not have to be that age specific, perhaps a few worlds designated as 18 or older ....sure younger kids would sneak in at first, but hopefully the novelty would wear off and you would be left with a world of older players. As far as lifting the censors in the mature world goes, I don't think that would be necessary. Sure it would be nice to just say what you want, but typing out your words gives you that second to think before you speak which doesn't often happen with live speech, so use that second to think of something other than a swear to say. How you suggest it sounds much better. Just having 3 or 4 18+ worlds would be great. Once the novelty wore off it would just be the older players and the younger ones who can can handle themselves maturally (I remember at 15 I connected more with people 20+ than others my own age). But I'm still very against have a world designed for something like 15 and under or even under 18.
  13. Actually I was directing that at Erk02. This problem though is always going to be existant and always get worse. Our society is going (and has been for awhile) down the drain and people have the natural to like being intoxicated (beer is one of the oldest drinks made by ancient people). Those chances are very exaggerated and I wasn't talking about the next Gandhi, I was talking about just a functioning member of society (probably who helps others in the same situation). I'm not sure where I stand on aboration, but I know this isn't a reason to okay it and even less of a reason to kill babies.
  14. Yes you are correct, I belive at 99.5% speed of light you need 70,000 more force then if you were just pushing something regulary. Check on those numbers though. I want to know what happens if you ride a motorcycle and ride nearly the speed of light and shine your light forward, if light always goes 186,000 miles a second then wouldn't the light go back at you? :wall: No, the light is still going faster than you and would keep moving forward. You have the source of light, so there wouldn't be a constant stream from the same spot, so it would always be ahead of you.
  15. The post I'm making is incredibly off-topic, but exactly! Why can't the religious people just say, "Okay that's how it works, but God made it that way and he's the one behind it all." And why don't the scientists realize that their theories, laws, and conjectures don't disprove the existance of a high power? It would make things so much easier... >.<
  16. You have learned well young aprentice. : yea, i don't think i am so right anymore 1 last countertheory to breaking the speed of light. As an object of mass moves (yet again, everything has mass. even EM rays). As mass accelerates it gains more mass. When an object hits light speed it has infinite mass. this infinite mass would cause numberless problems, including a quatar (stuff circling around a black hole) with earth at its center, and all of earths mass compacted into 1 atom (ouch). Saying they broke they speed of light is also saying that the object weighs > infinity :-k also, when you approach the speed of light time moves slower, and stops when you get the speed of light (has been proven with jets and atomic clocks). when you pass the speed of light then time moves backwards (for the object, not the observer). So if you went faster than the speed of light then you would be younger than than when you started (hmm... practical application?) Ok, all this physics is giving me a headache. I am going to go play my bass for a bit I could very possibly be wrong (so please condrict me if I am), but the last time I checked up on mass and speed you don't gain mass with speed. Also, the speed of light isn't an infinite speed, so even if mass was gained with speed then the mass wouldn't be infinite. I'm not sure how something's mass would be infinite either. :-k Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I'm right.
  17. Then why not find it and post it. Just posting that you have an opinion but aren't going to share it is useless spam. So you would be ok with killing infants since they are in the same boat? no, not at all. I would be ok with mercy killings but just killing random babies, hell no. But what if even one of those little babies grow up and kill a bunch of people, including him/herself in a pcp-fueled frenzy? The children that are raised by parent/s that never wanted them are more likely to do drugs, kill themselves, etc. I don't quite get your point... I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I'm understanding that it's okay to kill fetuses and/or unwanted babies because there's a chance that they'd grow up to kill or be druggies... Sure children that have gone through such things are more likely to be into drugs and the like, but after going through such troubles some can rise up and make a change for the better.
  18. With Absolute Zero we have to cool something to stop the constant, random movement of it's atoms. It's always easier to stop something then to make something move (if the starting and end points are the opposite), so I say why not? I think both are possible, but we'd probably get to 0 K faster.
  19. I like the idea. Of the fun I would have with it. But it shouldn't count as attacking a monster though (if you use it on an NPC) or people would use that too much to steal kills.
  20. I love the idea, but tickets would tickets be tradable? I'd think not. Also, this may be hard to implement as it's gambling and even this kind of gambling can be addictive. Last I checked, Jagex was trying to make itself seem semi-educational and kid friendly in it's "About" sections. Gambling isn't viewed as kid friendly to most people. Overall, great idea though.
  21. Oh my... :XD: :XD: :XD: :XD: Just... wow...
  22. subGreen for the win!

Thanks for all those phobia names. :D But yeah, necrophilia is... yeah...
  25. Yeah... fusion for the win!!
