  1. Your argument would be sound if vegetarians were malnourished people, but they aren't. They are quite healthy. Right, but then according to such logic, beastility is on the same moral standards as eating meat. EXACTLY. That is Kant's point. It is inconsistent to believe that bestiality is immoral and not be a vegetarian. It sounds outlandish to you because it's contrary to what you've grown up believing, but it is logical. Both eating meat and bestiality harms an animal without their consent. Both provide pleasure and benefits to living but both are unnecessary acts. The difference between the two is that the animal can go on living after it is "bestialized". I disagree. I feel beasility is wrong because the animal does not share the same conciousness as humans and cannot understand the pleasure we get from sex (the only animals to get pleasure from sex is dolphins, humans, and a few others I can't remember). Sex hurts most animals, but is so commonly practiced to reproduce. Also, carnivorism is very common in the animal kingdom as part of instict, and the only way some animals can live. So, eating meat for them is okay, but interspecies sex is a lot less common than homosexuality in the animal kingdom. I still don't see the moral conundrum between eating meat and beastility, the connection with homosexuality, and you didn't address the rest of my post, which was about how any of this had any relevance to homosexuality.

I hope he's dead/kidnapped. That would make the plot better than it already is, if that's possible. I'm leaning towards kidnapped, but I agree compeletely. :D
  3. Your argument would be sound if vegetarians were malnourished people, but they aren't. They are quite healthy. Right, but then according to such logic, beastility is on the same moral standards as eating meat. While some would argue that to be true, that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Last I checked this thread was about homosexuality and not beastility. I'm not even sure how beastility got thrown in, but I still have yet to see how it's in anyway related, similiar, and/or comparable to homosexuality.
  4. I love Scrubs. I'm glad they're ending it, because the jokes do get old after awhile. It has good humour value still though and I really want to know how it all ends. I actually think J.D. will marry whoever is pregnant with his baby (forget her name) and that Elliot and Keith, but things will be interesting as a consquence of Elliot and J.D. messing around.
  5. He makes a point. Overall, people are stupid and many thrive on insulting others. Ignore them because they're just trying to make up for their own insecurities (cliche, but true). You'll meet plenty of people who accept you for who you are and they're the ones you should care about. Stay true to yourself and forgot the rest. Off-Topic: I hate girl pants (on me), it's just so... confining. It doesn't help I'm a semi-nudist though. =P
  6. Save a good chunk to buy a house in one fell swoop, invest a lot so my plans can become a reality (a million dollars would really help), and when I had much more than a million dollars I would donate to various causes that have affected me and that I think are noble.
  7. Oh please. That's been the symbol since classic (the sword is still there if you go to Classic log in). I always believed it was Silverlight, if anything at all.
  8. Lucky... It has nothing to do with my videogames, but I tend to not be able to sleep past 7 or 8 in the morning. If I pull an all night and go to sleep at 9 I don't see why I couldn't get 22 hours of sleep though... hmmm... think I'll try it. :D
  9. The "scientific" reason for his opinion is that he uses aliens as a form of [outside] observer to us who "see everything upside down". He thinks that aliens would think we're spider people, 'cause apparently his logic lead him to think we walk upside down too (however relative that is) since we flip the visual data as it goes to our occipital lobe in the back of our head. Walking upside down=spider people. Or spider pig, whatever. So ya, that's his logic. It somehow made even less sense when you explained it. =P
  10. Bump since people didn't seem to understand what I was referring to, so I edited my post.
  11. Okay, so I've been seeing a lot of references to something about Vegeta and level 9000. I understand the DBZ reference, but I don't understand A)what it means exactly, B)where it came from, and C)why do people keep using it? In reference to forum posts (particularly to RSOF rant forum). Edit: Thanks for the answers. :D
  12. Not RSOF, but if is a funny forum post. Unfortunately, it's from this forum, but it made me laugh so I'm putting it here before the thread is locked. It was also sad to see all the replies it got. Most of them being spam about the post itself being spam. #-o :wall: Replying to spam is spam, why don't people understand!!! -.- [/rant]
  13. There is so much about that post that confuses me? He's talking about how our retinas (or whatever part of the eye, learned this months ago...) flip the visual information to make it coherent, but that's only after it's already been flipped just from viewing it. So it's like unflipping a flip really. So ya, he probably was going around Wiki, read it, and didn't think about it too much :| . I know what he meant by the eyes upside thing, I didn't understand the aliens, spider people, and the "scientific" reason.

  15. This makes me love life and at the same time lose more respect I didn't really have for the human race. So, I'm actually contributing to this post... [hide=A big picture of funny posts I found.][/hide] My favorites are the replys to the first two posts.
  16. FAIL. yes there is. They said statistically, which is right. There's more of one gender then another. Don't ask numbers because I don't have them on me, but there is a marvleous thing called the internet! I do believe there are more women though, I could be wrong. Yes, but you have to factor homosexuals into the equation. You make a point, I still doubt there's statistically a someone for everyone though.

  18. I was wondering more how they were going to make it through life thinking worser was a word. :XD:
  19. The Real ET replied to RSBDavid's topic in Off-Topic
I was just reading this thread and saw that... I'm still laughing. :XD: :XD: That really sucks man. Sorry to hear it. You're old enough now though to calmly talk to the administration about it though. The number of times I've escaped trouble just by showing that I could formulate a proper argument... too many to count. =P
  20. The faster they get the banned the faster the bots re-makes an account and gives Jagex more money. That's why. =P
  21. Not smart, IP tracking? I can't stop laughing at that poster. =P
  22. What is this stuff? I know I've heard of it, but I was thinking along the lines of butter. I know I'm horribly wrong, but now you can all laugh at my ignorance. Edit: Read the whole topic and am now a learned man. You can still laugh at my past ignoranace. =P
  23. According to this theory, yes.
  24. Nice stuff. Great interview as always.
  25. No, I don't like it. Collapsable ones take more clicking and searching if you don't know where the thing you're looking for is.
