Tefda is right, they're not actually prayers. They are "indicators" of which defense she is more adept in each form. Jagex has confirmed this.

Have you noticed that people who display immoral behavior in RS always pulls the "Its just a game" card? You think they cheat in checkers, too? :lol:

Does Ice Barrage or Blood Barrage (multi spells) still affect your team members with your cape? I don't PK, and I would just assume that they make it so that the team cape partners won't get attacked by multi-attack area spells. If Barrage spells kill your own teammates, its gonna put a damper on this whole team concept. :|

Since summer is over, and school is coming into play soon, I'll start setting these on Saturdays. But they'll be cut down to once ever 2 weeks, cuz I can only do every other Saturday.

I'm gonna try once every night, or until I feel like failure is imminent and give up. lol. Boy, what a noob I'd feel like then. lol. I doubt I'll give up, seriously. But yeah, every day if I have the gumption. Its not really very fun. If it takes too long, I'll probably take a day off or two.

Oh shoot, same... Is it 4PM EST or 5PM EST? I remember someone at the SODB said it was -4 right now for some reason instead of the usual -5. :-k Read much? it says 4PM Est :P Its -5 btw I read it lol, there's just been some confusion over at the SODB about whether it's -4 or -5. If he's basing it on the EST time (i.e., he lives in America) then only the GMT people might get messed up, but if it's the other way around us Americans could have the wrong time :? . I live in Arizona. I'll be there at 1PM my time, which is the same time as California or Pacific. That will be 4pm Eastern. GMT folks must figure it out on their own if their clocks changed. :anxious:

I'm watching, and will try not to do events the same type. (Was considering sneaking in a Agility Tickets event due to requests, but they are doing it, so I skipped it.) Mine are not official TET events, but so far, attendees are setting the bar pretty high. \

Well, its been months since I've been in the caves. I've maxed out my combat levels, increased my prayer by 12 levels, and probably gotten a few range levels. And I'm really sick of seeing people that are green to me walking around with that fire cape. Level 124 should have a cape. Since I've been working on Herblore, I have the supplies. I have the levels. I have the process. I have the equipment. So, I shall now try this once a day until I get the dang thing. Here we go. ATTEMPT 1 Equipment - Full Guthans Barrows gloves Archers Ring Rune boots Obby Cape Fury Ammy Inventory - Crystal Bow full Karil top Karil bottom 4 4-dose Sara Brew 4-4 dose Super restores 2 4-dose ranging potions The rest is 4-dose ranging pots. I get through the first waves suprisingly easy. I guess I remembered. I used guthans on the 180 guys (Melee dudes that heal themselves) and not once did I need to melee pray to heal myself. I only got under half health once. Then the 360's come. Again, it goes very smoothly. I kill the rangers first, kill the 360, and safe spot the 180s. I get through everything until the 2nd to last wave, which has 2 level 180's with the the one 360, and I mess up and let the 360 hit me for 41. Ouchies. Oh well, no problem, I just put on melee prayer on the last 2 180's and heal up. Then come the 2 360's. Here we go. I drink sara brew, get to 120 defense, 115 hits, restore prayer, and Here comes Jad! He starts with Range, and I have mage prayer on. I hate misguessing. Zero! Oh how lucky! I haven't been in here awhile, so I'm out of practice, and my heart is racing... The first three prayer switches go fine, and then I am late on a range attack swtich. Bam! I get hit for 43. Calm down, Lee, calm down. Here come the healers. I successfully get all four off of Jad and on me. I try to move over to get them lined up, and miss a prayer switch. Bam! I get hit for 27. Great. I'm almost redbarred, and I try to drink a sara and restore, and miss another pray switch, and a 13 KO's me. I'm guessing he was about 3/4 dead. Well, golly, thats probably one of the best attempts I've ever made, and that was full of rust and lack of practice. I'm hoping next time goes smoother, and I'm not so amped up when Jad comes. I had like 8 pray pots left, and I didn't use 3 of the Saras, so next time I'm taking more sharks so I can heal without the sara brew process. The prayer levels helped alot. The sound lagged me, and thats why I was late on the first mistake, and it doesn't help at all, so next time I'm turning sound off. I'll be adjusting my inventory for next attempt. Stay tuned! ______________________________________________________ ATTEMPT 2: Same Equipment: Inventory changes: 7 tuna potatoes. 1 Sara brews. 1 Super restore. Everything else the same. Well, the first waves were not as uneventful. The 360's spawned on top of me 4 times, and at one point I was at 12 hitpoints. I don't use food, and Guthan was failing me. But, I still got the same result. I reached the 2 360's, drank Sara, restore prayer, and its the same result, just a little more stress to get there. Plenty of prayer pots left, 115 hp, 120 defense, ready to roll. The 2nd 360 drops, the message comes... and... no Jad. Eek! I can't see him. This has killed be quick in the past, so I beeline it to the boot. I picked the right side, and the perfect scenario is upon me. I have Jad on the other side of the boot. Ah, its always nice to be able to run behind the boot and lick your wounds. Lets rock! I run out, with range pray on this time. Good guess. He starts with range attack, and it starts. I'm fairly calm, and I'm switching flawlessly. I am concentrating, and although I'm still a little amped, I'm in control. I go through about 10 prayer switches, and then I notice it... I'm hitting nothing but zeros. 4..5...6.. in a row... I start getting mesmerized by the zeros. 12...13...14 in a row. Omg! Whats wrong?? Of course, this is when it happens. I start panicking, looking to make sure I'm wearing the right things, looking at my stats, and looking at everything other than Jad's feet. This will make you miss a pray switch. Bam! 78. And then the hesitation. Should I stay and heal between switches? No. So, I run behind the boot. The hesitation made me a fraction to late on the mage prayer switch. Bam! 31. The good news, I still have all my potatoes. :P I still had 5 prayer pots left, and I don't think I need more food, so I'm gonna replace pray pots with robin hood, range boots, and a second bow. Yeah, like I said, Team 1 will get a red team cape, and Team 2 will get a blue one. I'll have tons of both capes ready to hand out. Youre gonna wanna wear your cape, or you'll get attacked by both teams cuz they won't see the blue dot.

Fight Pits Invasion! When: This Friday Aug 25 - 9pm GMT - 4pm EST - 1pm PST Where we meet: My House, World 99, Taverly. What are we doing: Two teams form in a chaotic waste of supplies as we have fun beating the snot out of each other. Introduction: The "Fight Pits" is a multi-attack minigame located in the Tzhaar Caves of Karamja where players fight until there is only one left. You do not lose anything when you die, and all items are allowed in. All attack styles are allowed, including ancients, Barrows, food, potions, etc. Our Process: Organizing We will meet at my house, and after teams are set, we will all use my house glory ammy to Karamja to prepare. I will turn private on at the top of the hour. You have 30 minutes to make it to my house. At half past the hour, I will turn off public chat, and you will be left. If you do not move your house to Taverly, walk from Falador. At the house we will start assigning teams at half past the hour ON THE DOT. I will balance teams by combat level. This is how: ~ We will all gather in the front yard. ~ I will ask everyone to stand on one spot, so I can see all levels. ~ I will assign RS names to teams, highest level being team leader. ~ When your name is called, get off the pile, and go to your team. ~ Please keep chatter to a minimum during this process. lol. Yeah right. I'm not sure how we're gonna handle team winnings yet, so discussion is needed. Team Winnings Idea 1) All wininngs are used to purchase onyx bolt tips from the store and split between the team. I assume the bolt tips are tradable. If you are the final winner, you would buy the bolt tips with your winning tokkuls, and donate to the team leader. Idea 2) All winnings are used to purchase chaos runes (or whatever) and split between the team. Idea 3) All winnings are just ignored, and we're just here for the fun, and trying to share tokkul would be nearly impossible. I like idea one, because this is the only way I'm ever gonna be able to try onyx bolt tips. lol. Any other ideas?. If its decided that we'll buy stuff and split, I'll track team members names and make sure everyone gets their share, so that will be my headache. Issues - ~ Can't guarantee that everyone who wins will play nice and make the purchases and share the items. ~ Team members may squabble on who gets to win final tokkul if no sharing is set. I staffed all the other teams, and then my own team was undermanned. lol. We ddin't do well, but I don't think anyone lost anything too valuable. It was a very short trip. How are the other teams faring?
