  1. I'm confused on the Posh fountain. On page 1, Ca2theone has one picture, then on page 3 madbeanies has a totally different one. I have a formal Garden, with the large fountain, and am considering putting a Posh fountain, but its expensive. If it looks like Madbeanies, no way. lol. Ca2theones looks pretty cool though, but kinda looks just like mine. Whats up?
  2. I don't think she's kidding. :P Like a hawk, fellow banned tipiters, like a hawk. \
  3. Yes, good idea. Personally, I wish I could see a "gilded throne" to see if its worth it. Also would like to see a pic of a "mohagony throne". Gotta see which one looks best before I put it in. Of course, I'm probably gonna have to spend some cabbage to compare them myself. Blah. Need to visit some houses.
  4. Yeah, today's lego sucks. In MY day, they were REAL legos. Where they were all much smaller, and came in huge sets, so you could build an entire house with a set. Now, they come in pre-made custom shaped things, and whimpy sets where you can only build the silly thing you bought. No imagination there. Or the oversized [developmentally delayed] versions where you get like 20 blocks in a set. Blah! The old school legos... (last generations) was so much better. Wait, is this a Runescape forum? I think I"m off topic. lol. Sorry. :P Enjoy the banter. \
  5. Yes, but you won't get 100 brother drops. Whether you kill Dharok once or a hundred times, he will only provide one drop to the chest.
  6. No, all brothers drop all barrows items. This has been proven by getting two of one set in one chest. Karil can drop Guthans pieces, and vice versa. I myself have gotten 2 pieces of Karils outfit in one chest, while killing only 1 Karil... so logically, Karil couldn't have dropped two pieces at once.
  7. The brothers give you everything. The runes, bolt racks, armor, its all a drop from the brothers. Each brother drops one of the following: 300ish mind runes 160ish chaos runes 80ish death runes 40ish blood runes 40ish bolt racks. 500-2000 gp Half key, drag med, or item. You can even count the runes you get to see how many brothers dropped something other than GP. If you kill all six brothers your CHANCES of getting a barrows item from a brother is higher. If you kill more monsters, your CHANCES of getting better runes from a brother is higher. The monsters drop small amounts of gp only, which still goes to the chest. Jagex is saying that increasing your kill count does not increase your chance of getting a barrows set item. But I always seem to do better when I have a kill count at 20. But what do I know? lol. I still wear a ring of wealth and don't kill bloodworms because the examine says "I think I'll keep my distance". \
  8. Bunny ears, scythe... and something else... can be re-attained by the clothing shop lady in Varrock.
  9. You can do this. Dungeon, ground floor, and upstairs. Thats 3 stories. You cannot have Ground floor, upstairs, and a 3rd floor on top of that.
  10. You can use a house tele tablet to take you from barrows to your house. Then, you can recharge your prayer at house's altar. Then, you can use Kharyll teleport portal to go back to Cannifis. All within the house. It saves time for folks who want to save costs on prayer pots and charge the prayer for free with an altar, and it saves walking time for those who are not using ancients, which aren't cost effective for Barrows.
  11. Any good guide will give alternatives for all levels of equipment and inventory. And if you're dealing with a guide that requires Guthan, or Sara Brews, you're dealing with a guide for a high level process that won't apply to lower levels anyway. So, if you are bumming because the Dag King guide requires Guthans, for example, just be aware that you have to be a high level to even think of going there. I am assuming, however, that if you have higher levels, you have higher wealth.
  12. I had no idea. Thats probably not a well known one. Niiiiice. Whats the stock? Recipe for Disaster after completed stocks the chest at 50 chocolate bars, but Nardah would be a good alternative for lower levels.
  13. No, you don't. It has no affect on yield for bushes, and they cannot die while being taken care of.
  14. I'm gonna go again soon just to prove the prayer drain rate. Personally, I believe the "rumor" was started because, in fact, there WAS a prayer drain change. I see a difference just standing in a bank. At least I think I do. I'll do another fight cave to see what different results I have. I really don't enjoy the fight cave. 2 hours of boredom. 2 minutes of stress. 2 seconds of death.
  15. He hits in the 20's with his melee attack. His secondary fire damage (when you wear fire shield, but don't take anti fire potion) is in the teens. Its best to use melee prayer when getting up close and personal.
  16. Blackjacking is the best kept thieving secret in runescape. The xp from this process is sick. You knock out your victim, pick him twice, knock him out again. Even when you fail, if you are clicking fast enough, you keep the process going. Its very fun, as you can really get in a rythym. You need to do ... um... a quest i can't remember the name of. Its in the desert in Poly. Quest where you settle down Melphite gang and Bandit gang. Great xp from it. (Someone fill in the blank for me here) Its great, after you finish the quest you get a maple blackjack. You lure a villager (melphite bandit with higher thieving level) into a house, and whack and pick, whack and pick, whack and pick. Bring noted food to sell to store in town and buy back. Give it a try. You'll be sparkling so fast, you'll love it. :) *bounces over to Archive of Wisdom* The quest is "The Fued" 15k in theiving xp just from completing it, and it lets you blackjack.
  17. Check the Archive of Wisdom forum... In the sticky there, there is a detailed guide on Dagganoth Armor.
  18. KBD Massacre! When: Saturday Sep 9th - 9pm GMT - 4pm EST - 1pm PST Where we meet: My House, World 99, Yanille. What are we doing: A band of Tip.It adventurers gang up on total ownage of the King Black Dragon, checking out his new graphics and animations. Warning!: This event will take participants into the wilderness. Three item rule applies! Introduction: The King Black Dragon (KBD) is a high level boss monster that resides in high level wilderness. The lair itself is not wilderness, but you must go through it to get there. It is a multi-attack arena, meaning you can team up on the dragon. He was the first monster ever to drop the fabled Dragon Med helmet, and is also coveted for his KBD heads for player owned houses. He requires anti-fire shield and potions, and melee prayer is suggested if you are going toe-to-toe. Our Process: Organizing We will meet at my house, and I will turn private on at the top of the hour. If you do not move your house to Yanille, use Watchtower teleport or walk from Ardy. For 30 minutes you may use the facilities, burn bones, make teletabs, and for those of you who (for some reason) love using the kitchen, have at it. During this time I will be handing out team capes so we can recognize each other in the wild. We will all use glory ammies to tele to Edgeville, and switch servers to a world that will be announced at the house. Then everyone should follow me as I use a rarely used path to the lair. Fighting the KBD Here are some tips: 1) If you are using melee attack, use melee prayer. Mage or range prayer helps very little against his other attacks, and he can whack you around good with his head butts. 2) You must use anti breath shield. He will hit you for 68 if you don't. 3) You must use anti fire potions. He will hit you for 15's if you dont. 4) You must use anti poison potions. His poison hits for 8. Super anti-poison is suggested. 5) Since this goes through the wild, and we're in a large group. design your outfit and inventory using the three-item rule. I can't guarantee against looting. 6) Restocking should be done in groups. There is safety in numbers in the wild. 7) Check the Archive of Wisdom sticky for KBD guides for detailed information. See you there, and may many KBD heads fall!
  19. 90 percent of the prayer drain from Barrows comes from the automatic drain every 10 seconds or so, so you wouldn't see much of a difference. And also, you keep getting better at the Barrows the more you do it, due to practice. I'll post my fight caves experiment when I'm done. We'll see if there's a significant difference from previous attempts. Same amount of waves. Same range level. Same prayer level. Same inventory. Same equipment. Same combat process. Almost a full hour of prayer usage. It should be a telling test.
  20. Too bad I don't know what the old prayer drain rate was, or have a video, or timed it. That would make it easy. No, I don't know if its normal, Stan. I'll just use the the fight cave test, because I'll use the same process I always do. If theres a dose or two difference, then thats not significant. I'm guessing its gonna be a huge difference, though. We'll see.
  21. definately hate not knowing things like that. i wish their was a way to actually check instead of alching the items. what if we petition jagex to make a list of the larger ticket item's shop value? such as dragon armors barrows armor whips mystic items and such You can check without alching, just ask a stores value and compare them. They're not alching prices, but still very comparable. Thats how saved items are determined, by their values.
  22. That is so cool. I never knew about the hidden ladder trick. I'm definitely gonna try this one when I get the chance. I'll probably get my teeth kicked in until I figure it out. Lol. I hope you keep updating this, because there's a ton of other safe spots, as you know. Catty-corner in front of the corpses, catty-corner next to the corner rocks, etc... I didn't put them on the main sites map, because I wanted to indicate only the safe spots that were easy to manipulate. Its not real easy using the catty-corner spots until you know use them and know them. Maybe I'll send you some pics of some of the "trickier" spots I know of. Fantastic Guide.
  23. Wow, I wonder what other prices have been adjusted. We may never know until we die. lol. For instance, does Crystal bow still save over Guthan spear and helm? Hmm.. :-k
