Trying to get a mourners outfit, but am striking out. End II quest guide on main site says to kill a level 11 mourner in West Ardy to get outfit back. Only dropping bones.

I would suggest joining SODB or DHT, they both have threads on these forums. They are larger groups, and it woudl be a great place to get some experience. Unfortunately, we only go with vetarens on this team, so its not the place to learn. But those other groups go alot too, and there are good DK veterans to learn from there.

100% positive no exp from dungeon monsters in your house

After a while, the cost of recharging the bow is 180k. It degrades slighty after use. Full charged is slighty more powerful than a 1/10 bow. You cannot recharge the bow until it is completely used up. The first time you recharge it is 900k The second time you do it its like 720k Then it gets cheaper and cheaper till its down to 180k. Once you use it, if you have the money, you'll love it.

How much was it?

I put a loot tracker on the Blog. 2nd post. Its going to help me keep track of what was dropped, who got the loot, and more importantly... who owes everyone money. :P

The most I've gotten was 4. 4 Karils. Get one, go through the door to get ready, get another one, panic and go through the door again, get another one, gather my wits, and realize the side with only 1 is better to deal with, go through again, get another one, and then realize the red bar is in danger, and PANIC BUTTON to ecto. Hehe. Btw, killing more than any one brother does not increase your drops, or your chances. The chest reads the brother as either dead or not. It will not give you 5 different rune drops if you kill all five, and the only thing that it will do for you is increase your kill count. So, I kill one, and leave the rest. Rats are a wee bit easier to kill for kill count.

I've always wanted one. A red Party hat. Looks so good with Full Dragon. In fact, Dragon isn't "full" without one. So, I give you my running blog on my Path the Phat. I don't wanna slave over a rune rock. I don't wanna kill 100k blue dragons. I don't wanna RC myself to insanity. Or bore myself with Abby Demon camping. And the Barrows is just not gonna cut it. So... I shall make this fortune with Dagganoth King slaying. Fun, profitable, and thats two things that will get me to my goal. So, I have gathered a group of DK'ers. I have posted on Gen P2P asking my fellow slayers to organize with me for team trips to the lair. And here it starts..... DAY 1 STATUS: RED PHAT = 226 MIL 4 Santas, 20 Mil cash, Extra D-chain, Extra D-Legs, Extra D-Axe, Extra Ranging set, Extra Fury Ammy, Extra God Armor set, 81 Drag Bones, No extra barrows pieces. = 170 MIL. 56 Mil to go. _____________________________________________________________ FIRST TRIP A wonderful trip, this was. There was five us. And I'm really liking the 2 magers, 3 rangers set up. Mr [ForbiddenSite] and Soma ended up being the mages, and Trojann, Valaraz, and myself took over Prime/Supreme duties. It was really a very good team. I was quite proud of everyone. The ranging team lasted 2 hours, and if we didn't have some inventory issues, we could have stayed much longer. Valaraz has never experienced going with such an efficient team, so he took waaaaay too many sara brew, and not enough pray pots. Yours truly grabbed the wrong pile from the bank in my rush to get ready, and only brought 3 dose pots instead of 4. Not to mention heading up there with zero prayer, wasting a pot right there. But other than that, it was a great trip. The mages did a great job keeping Rex off us, and when he did show up, the rangers were strong enough to deal with Rex and kill Supreme all before Prime showed up. We never had one incident with a Supreme/Prime encounter, except on entry. Mr T-girl even outlasted the rangers, and was left there alone as the rangers had to tele out after 2 hours and count our riches. The drops were fantastic. Overall, we made 9-10 million. And I got 4 drops myself on the trip, which even made it more fun. I got 2 axes, a seercrull (second ever) and an archers ring, all from Supreme. Trojann got a Seers ring, and Soma got a warrior ring. Valaraz and T-girl were shut out, but there was more than enough for everyone. Then me and Valaraz went back and killed some ranging dags to get a set of spined armor (I needed a set for my house) and even they were being super nice to us. Within an hour, I had a full set plus 3 other tops. I even got enough for my sweety, Valerie, so she can have a full set for her house now. More bank space, Val! :P Very fun night. Can't wait to do it again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 2 I log on and get swarmed by Soma and Trojann PM's and I discover quickly that they started the fun without me. Grr. I'm still able to gather a team together of Mr Tub, Valaraz, and Zach. This trip was a wild one. Only 2 rangers, and we had half charged bows, and they weren't working. Prime was on Super defense pots this trip. We stood too close too many times, and had to fight both Supreme and Prime together far too often. It was slow going, and the bows just kept on degrading. Finally, we see a very green character run in dressed in rune. Someone got a glory ammy, and now Supreme is on me, Prime is on me, and here comes Rex charging. Thats it. I'm outta here. One zerker ring for our trouble. I'm immediately asking whos going back, and both Val and myself need to drain our bows and get new ones. Oddfaery has joined us, and Zach has bailed with his zerker ring. Hehe. (I"m gonna have to start tracking who owes whom what. Tro, you sell stuff yet?) This one goes much smoother, but Odd runs around ALOT and I have to watch it when Val and I are prayer staggering. Rex made things interesting, but we never had any real danger. Odd ran out of prayer once, I got hit hard a few times, but we never were in serious danger. Tonight, World 99 Kings were being stingy, and after 2 hours we only had one D-axe and a warrior. Odd trots off to world 2, and comes back with 1.05 mil for me. Zach should get us 700k each or so, and Troj still owes me my share of a 9-mil trip. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 3 Not hard finding a team here. Actually felt bad bacause there were so many people on, I wasn't able to offer everyone a trip. We got there, and there was a team already there. But on the first kill, I got a seercrull. :) We tried to change worlds, and people were getting grumpy and impatient, so I apologize to Mr Tub for not switching again to a world he could load. He was left out, and his partner mage was fairly grumpy for the rest of the trip. lol. Although that made an interesting theme for this trip, we still had fun. After two hours, only got a mudstaff and seercrull for our troubles, and I can tell you ranging Rex is not productive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 4 I am zoned out. I did so much dk'ing today, I don't even remember the first trip. I think we got a warrior and seercrull. I can't even remember who went. Genius, blur, val, mr tub, I think. I think we made about 800k each. I barely remember. The second trip was horrible. It was the most chaos I've ever seen. Never doing a trip like this again. A bunch of mages. 4 rangers. And complete chaos. Kings were dropping so fast i couldn't even keep up. We killed more kings in one trip than I've ever come close to doing. And of all those people, we didn't get one drop. Scik. The third trip made up for it. Back to the best setup IMO. 2 mages, 3 rangers, with one of the mages helping out. Even though I brought the wrong potions (I brought super anti instead of super restores, making my food of sara brew worthless) we managed a very long and incredibly productive trip. 3 axes, all from Zach! I told him I loved him, and I meant it. <3. Soma got his first mudstaff drop. Trojann got his first mudstaff drop. And I got another silly seercrull. And not a single ring. lol. Great trip. I'm too zoned to figure out how close I am. But I'm buying another santa soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Weedend - No DKing as I had my boy with me this weekend. I did get a whip drop on my hour I played this weekend, and ended a 11 superset dry spell at the abbies. Bought another santa hat for 26 mil plus some dag armor junk I was getting sick of trying to sell. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mon-Wed No DK trips, but last night I ended up getting 2 whips in 2 hours. I probably won't see another one for weeks, only because Oddfaery jinxed me by saying the last time that happened to him, he didnt' see one for weeks, so now I'm jinxed. DK time! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 5 and 6 4 trips in this span of time, and I'm too tired right now to go into huge Leesters-like detail, but there were three new Dk'ers I met. N0valyfe and Ink Heart 7 and Shade. Ink Heart is a complete master, much better than me. It was an honor to join a 2-range trip with him, as with 2 rangers is very challenging. Shade was a pro, also, and was the hero of the group with an axe drop. N0valyfe hung in there dang well too, being fairly new, but was a trooper and a joy to have with us. Nice meeting all of you! Blur was a hero as he got a Axe drop, and was very happy, as he's not had many. I got an axe on one trip, and was our only drop, and got 3.37 mill for it too. Woot. But it was the only weight I carried these trips, so thanks for everyone for being a hero. And special thanks to Soma for letting me have his share. If you were part of these trips, please correct me if I made mistakes on post 2. I forgot some things, and need help. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 7 Well, while suffering a Dag King hangover from waaaay too much DKing the day before, I was having fun doing speed Barrow runs, seeing how fast I could go. (Much more fun than camping there with Guthans, thats for sure) Then Ink Heart, asks if I wanna go DK. I just had a feeling he really really wanted to go, so I wishy-washed an "okay". He found a mage, and I was tired and didn't feel like going too crazy, so I asked another ranger. Well, Ink is fairly hardcore, and before you know it we're on a world with full population, meaning spawn rates on the kings are gonna be super fast. The entrance was horrible. The mage loses connection as soon as he goes in the room, and I go in first with 3 Kings all over me. I run around like a proverbial chicken with no head, and we end up going up again, licking our wounds, and trying again. I take charge a little, and request to use my less-complicated entrance technique, and Ink concedes. (Probably sensed I was annoyed. lol) A bad entrance using an unfamiliar technique will make a tired Leesters grumpy. So we go in, take some damage, but get the entrance out of the way. We get an axe right off the bat. Then a very evil player comes in and trys to get us killed by luring all Kings attacks on us, and we have to go up the ladder again. I want to reload, but Ink hated that idea, and this time I conceded. (This guy is really much better than I am, so I can barely keep up with the fast respawns on us, equipment switching, and sponging due to Scope's low pray level.) We switched worlds to even a MORE packed world, and it was a charmed world indeed. The trip from then on was very smooth, although VERY fast, and we were all able to handle the occasional Rex and Prime spawnings, and they got really generous. A team of four came home with 3 axes and 2 archer rings. I tried to pawn off the selling duties to Ink, but that backfired as he just split the axes and rings and gave me an axe back. lol. Dang. I hate W2. I give the axe away for 3.2 and leave quickly and happily. One trip. 3.2 million closer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dk Day 8 The Grim Reaper calls. A group of five of us go up, and I am instructed to wait up top as the group tries a different entry technique. I have no idea what they're doing, but I follow instructions, and wait. PM comes in, "come on down". I was instructed to come in on range prayer, as Prime is supposed to be occupied or dead. I turn on range prayer, run to the ladder and get hit for 2 20's by the maging walruses, and I am already at half hit points coming down the ladder. I attack Supreme, and start dancing. The dance takes me too close to Prime, and I get hit by a 43. I switch to mage pray and Supreme hits me for 14, and the Grim Reaper appears. Screen loads, and I'm in Fally. That took all of 10 seconds. The group gets my stuff, but advises me that they didn't get my ranger boots. 10 seconds, 1.35 million down the drain. Leesters is very very grumpy now. We reload, and when we get back there, I give the orders that we will be doing a traditional entry. They agree, since they feel horrible that I lost my boots, and everything goes well. It was a very fast process due to a full world, and at the end Ink Heart runs into the Grim Reaper. In the end, we get an axe and mudstaff. Ink Heart felt so bad, ranger boots were offered. I'm not gonna take someones boots. Also offered was a share of the split, and although I didn't want to take that, I'm not going to be able to force someone to accept a trade, so I'll just thank Ink for the share. After a very stressful night, I finish my load of yew logs and lick my wounds. Still grumpy, I was not nice to the noobs asking for the dang cape emote. lol. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 15 - DK Trip 8 Next night was much better. A team of 3 on a slow world. I hate fast respawns, it just stresses me out, I can barely keep up with it. I get to relax, and have a little fun with it. Especially when I get to stand by my partner and silently weild a D-Axe. Didn't take long to notice. Although we didn't get any other drops, with 3 people and axe still gets us a million a piece. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 16 & 17 Its weekend, and I was got some good luck this weekend, and got alot accomplished. I got a slayer level, which included an Abby demon task, and I got 2 whips in a row! O.O Wow, whats the odds? I wasn't down there 10 minutes with my first whip, and while I'm pm'ing my luck, the next abby dies, and boom. Another one. Woot! Two in a row! Also, sold some dragon bones, and crafted dragon hides, and 250 of each gave me some cash. Finally someone felt like going to DK, so a group of five went to the lair. Great success here, as we got 3 dragon axes, a mudstaff, seers ring, and a seercrull. Not bad for a 90 minute trip. Odd even stayed after a team of noobs came in and nerfed up the room. They had no clue what they were doing. lol. Odd stuck in there, and got himself another axe after we left. So, we all made 2.6 mil, and Odd made over 5 mil. Not bad for 90 minutes. All in all, I made 7 mil in one day. Thats the good news. The bad news is that Santa hats have crashed. They are all the way down to 21 million, so my investment idea has backfired. I'm alot further away than I thought. So, I'll just keep adding money, and hopefully the hats will come back up. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day 18 The DK team thread has backfired. So many people on everyones friends lists makes it easy for everyone to get a team together, so by the time I get home, everyone is already there. But I find a team anyway, and a team of four gets only 1 axe, and Zach's lag suicides him on Prime. Stuff returned. Death pile provides a few more pots for the team. Long trip. Trips I've done: More than i'd like to admit Doses used - 2 doses each trip to chest, without recharging prayer. I use guthans now, take pray pots with me, and only need 5 sharks for emergencies, and rarely use any food. Drink 2 doses, kill Dharok and Karil, kill the rest without prayer,, and heal up in the tunnels. I can stay there forever this way.

Do Santas drop after Christmas or before? I would think they would go up before Xmas and drop afterwards, but I've been wrong on about 90% of merchanting concepts. lol

And I'm actually off on Fridays, so look for me during the day. Have things to do, so I can't no-life it, but I'll be on before 8pm.

I see. I thought you were saying you were being proud of having a PK on me. lol. If so, I was gonna ask for my warrior ring back. (Dont' go training on wildy green dragons in full rune with no food and expensive items. Some ancient mage Pker was so thrilled to PK a 124 with a warrior ring on him. D'oh!) Anywaaaaay... this group would fire me if I let someone come in without a personal reference with drop sharing experience. If you have gone with someone on the list that can verify you have shared drops in the past, you're more than welcome. If not, sorry, but good luck with your clan. :)

Good idea, but I think the santa hats are rising faster than the party hats right now, so I'm dumping money into those instead. It seems to be a better "stock" investment while I work at it. Getting close to getting my fifth Santa. Woot! And being the goober that I am, I really don't wanna sell my duplicates right now until I'm really ready, just because my bank is soooo purty right now. Bank geeks unite!
