Lol. Prayer support. Thats a dead give-away, eh? Okay, so that was a fake I was hearing about, eh? Okay, but still my prayer drain for protection prayers has changed drastically. I'm gonna do a fight cave test tonight. Wouldn't it be hilarious if I actually got the cape when I'm just trying to do a test? lol. Before the update, I'd have 6.5 prayer pots left with a certain inventory set up. If I follow the same process.... well, we'll see. Then, after I see that the difference is NOT my imagination, I'm crusading. lol. Very persusive bug reports are gonna fly. When I heard that the prayer drain was by design, I conceded. Now that Paul said its not by design, I'm fired up again to get the "bug" fixed. First I gotta test it to make sure I"m not imagining things. I don't think I am. Its a noticable difference so far.

Sigh. Just went home and tested it. The bug is still there. Protection prayers drain one point every 2 seconds. I'll be sending in convincing bug reports now. I hope they listen to it.

The prayer drain rate (bug) doesn't exist anymore - my prayer drains at a normal speed now Whew, okay, cool. After the scollbar update, it was wicked drain. Glad they fixed it. Much adieau about nothing, and very good news. I think I'll try for fire cape again. :D

There will be no HYT invasion this weekend. Since school is starting, I don't want to plan Friday events because a lot of kids won't be to make it then. So, events will be on Saturdays or Sundays, and I can only do every other weekend. The next HYT event will be held NEXT Saturday, and it probably will NOT be KBD. Due to the failure of the last event, and my regrets of not doing teams, I will probably do another Fight Pit Invasion event, this time, assigning teams and team capes. Stay tuned.

Well, lookie here.... Okay, I have some input on this. *EDIT - I just thought of something. Maybe they already fixed it so its back to normal. I'll have to try it when I get home. I won't send in bug reports until I take a glance at the prayer drain rate. 1) Prayer rate for protection prayers HAS increased, intentional or not. 2) I heard that a jagex mod made a post on the forums that yes, prayer rate has changed, and we did this because we felt that prayer was making the monsters of runescape too easy. 3) If indeed this is not intentional, very persuasive bug reports need to be submitted, because the prayer rate IS higher for these protection prayers. Its good news they didn't plan on changing prayer, although I don't know what that report on the RS forums was about. ( I didn't see it, just heard about it from another player) So, its not meant to be changed, but a bug DID make it change. Good news. But this means.... BUG REPORTS! The thing is that all of these bug reports are gonna get glanced at, and disregarded due to the hub-bub. They need to be CONVINCED that there ACTUALLY is a difference in the prayer drain. It took me 4 bug reports to get Dharok's special fixed when it came out, because they kept sending me the auto-reply "Heres how Dharok is supposed to work" I had to beat them over the head with ITS NOT WORKING! before they listened and fixed it.

Safety in numbers, my friend. I have thought of this, and have preventative measures and precautions in mind. Dont worry, the only white dots we'll see will log out promptly when they see 100 white dots coming *their* way. :P

This would have been a much better event if I would have kept with the team concept. Maybe we'll do it again, and assign two teams, like I wated to to originally. Apologies to all who got piled by KO unit...my fault... I should have assigned teams. Next time we'll do that. :) Everyone will get a free team cape. Hehe.

Yeah, very boring. I left after first round, after K0 unit took it over. I noticed alot of others did too. Party got crashed, just like I feared. Oh well, won't be doing *that* again. Next event looks to be KBD massacre, should be better.

In one hour from this post, I open up my house. 30 minutes later, we head to the pits. You can use all house anemities at this time. Time to rock! Cya there!

Every Dag King trip is different. Each one has a different feel. Different team members, different processes, different skill levels. And this one was no exception. But to be sure, it was definitely exceptional. From Nathaninch: "Meet in Cammy world 70?" Its so nice when a team of four pros can be ready in 2 minutes. There was no waiting. There was no sub-par outfits. There were no sub-par inventory set ups. There were no worries. Four high levels gather west of the bank, all dressed in Full Guthan and loaded to the hilt. When we entered the Kings' lair, I knew it was going to be a rocking trip when I saw three pros form a perfect triangle around Supreme, and watch him get smoked by Guthan again and again. He barely hit any of us, and I never took a hit. First drop: Level 3 clue scroll. A good omen, I think. I couldn't even pick it up. Oh, heck, I'm not gonna need a teletab with these guys. I drop it and pick up my clue. Prime is attacked by three rangers, and dies almost as fast. Second drop: Dragon axe. Lol. I had to drop a prayer pot to pick that one up. Hopefully the drops will keep on comin.... As soon as Prime drops, four pros converge on Supreme and he doesn't know what hit him. He drops fast, Rex comes, we all run him to the mage spot, and take our spots. 4 kills and I've barely used a pray dose. Already you can tell the team is running like a well-oiled machine. What a joy to watch. Three rangers converge on Prime again, and Nathaninch gets a Seers Ring. And the drops just keep on comin... A few minutes later, I get another Dragon Axe. Thats two in my inventory now. And the drops just keep on comin... I guess the trip was going to smoothly for Odd. 30 minutes into the trip, as the machine continued its mastery, we start ranging Prime like usual... and there he goes. For some crazy reason, he runs over and starts whacking on Supreme while Prime focuses his heat on him. I have no idea why he did this, but when it comes to the Kings, there's only one thing you can expect from this warrior. His unpredictability. So, three rangers continue to range Prime hoping for a quick death while our friend is being crazy and getting rocked by Supreme's attacks with a redbar that continues to grow. I guess he wanted to get rid of some Sara brews to collect his bones. Nathaninch panics and runs to help him. They get rocked. Met sighs. I shake my head. Prime dies. From Oddfaery to Nathaninch: Why you do that? I had him. : P Odd then says.. "I didn't know that you *just* started on Prime. I run over there and see his full hits and think Oh ****" Lol. Ah, now I see. A rare Oops from the master. Lets just not do that again, okay? Things settle down, and the machine starts rolling again. Prime is ranged with prayer staggering. Supreme's life expectancy is shorter than a Varrock guard. We are killing kings faster than Kalphites with a cannon. Prime drops, we converge on Supreme, and I notice I got the drop. Put the mouse on the pile from a distance on what looks like coins, and its another Seers ring. Hmm. I guess I should go pick that up, eh? Three drops in my inventory. "Another Seers Ring" "No way!" "BS!" "Siiiiic" "We're rocking this trip!" And the drops just keep on comin.... A few minutes later, Prime comes up to us close and personal to see who in the world is creating such havoc in his home, and then.... There he goes again. Odd runs over and starts whacking on Supreme again while we range prime right next to us in our corner. This wasn't a bad thing, because Odd knew that he was safe due to Primes unusual position. From Oddfaery: "Supreme has never dropped me an item" Supreme drops. From Oddfaery: "Scratch that" He picks up his first SeerCrull Bow ever. And the drops just keep on comin..... 10 minutes later, I get my third Dragon Axe drop. I have four drops in my inventory, a clue, and only enough room for 2 bones. And the drops just keep on comin.... I brought 3 4 dose super anti potions. After 2 hours, Met has to leave. 2 hours and 15 minutes, I still have 24 prayer doses left. Nathan and I have mastered our prayer staggering routine. He prays, Prime attacks, I turn off prayer. Oddfaery is a little long in the tooth here, and is stubborn about turning off his prayer when the room will allow him. Maybe he'll learn a new trick... soon. I have run out of anti. And I still have 22 pray doses left. I used to take 2 antis. Now I take 3. Now its evolved into 4. Since the team is bailing, and I have no antis, and I won't be able to stay solo with poison and spinos, Nathan and I decide to leave after Odd announces his last kill. I stand in Camelot with 3 dragon axes stacked neatly in my inventory, and a Seers ring for color. Nathan got a Seers. Odd got a Seercrull. Rex continued his stubborness, and gave Met nothing. We still love him, as we count our riches. We give Odd our loot to go sell, take some pics, and end our nights with a 2 1/2 hour Dag King trip under our belt, and six drops. And the drops just kept on comin..... THE END.

After I lost my zerker ring at the Kings, I went to do some Barrow runs. I get a HYT from someone at the bank in Cannifis, and hes heading for the swamp. "Going to the Barrows?" "Yeah" "Me too" He heads to the swamp, and I go through the basement into the boat shortcut. I run all the way to the bridge, and hes standing on the bridge when I get there. :shock: "How did you beat me?" "My way is faster" I still don't know how he beat me there. I hope he's reading this and posts. lol.

Buying things from stores, and then selling to players is a good, easy way to make cash. Death runes, Natures, feathers, etc. Buying natures in new player banks for 100 each, and then selling in large blocks for 300 each is another decent way. Disclaimer: I never merchant. :P

Barrows drains your prayer depending on how many brothers you've killed. Killing 0 brothers - it drains 7 Killing 1 brother - it drains 8 Killing 2 brothers - it drains 9. And so on....

Agreed. The inventory is just important to "get" to Jad. Once you're there, its all about the skills.

Third attempt, and I almost had him. The healers were all on me, and he was close to redbarred. I was able to concentrate on more than just his legs, and was able to multi-task, eating, switching, drinking pray pot, I'm getting so I can do this now. And this was after a bad start to Jad spawn. I hate it when you can't see him, and he's attacking. Hard to watch his legs when you can't see the dude. But, the healers actually melee'd me to death. lol. They smacked me for a bunch of 9's and I was out of food, because I wasted my food on the final round of 360's, as I forgot to turn magic prayer back on after healing up on the 360-180-180 round. I was lucky to be alive as both 360's smacked me with melee prayer on, and before I could "Eek-click", I was down to 12 hitpoints. lol. Buh bye food! Oh well, just when I'm ready to beat him.... they nerf the prayer drain all up. It drains so fast now, that caves are impossible. If they fix the bug, I'll try again. If they dont, I'll enjoy my obby cape knowing that I got good enough to beat him.

I've done this also. It rocks on the first form. Veracs set effect isn't really needed for first form, since her defense is mage/range. Gotta switch to full verac for second form, though. But yes, it definitely works.

Drop list is pretty cool: 100 noted yew logs 690 iron arrows 15 blood runes Mithril bar (bah) Gems Half key Mithril plate Addy Longsword Big bones (always) 1-3 skins (always) 1 claw (always) Dragon med (rumor, I've never gotten one) (This is just off memory) This guide is stickied in the index of this forum under "Combat Bosses" Great guide on something not done yet. :D

1) On fire attempt, when I miss a prayer switch. 2) Whenever someone attacks me in the wild. 3) When DKing, and more than one king attacks at a time. 4) KQing solo. 5) Whenever more than 100 waterfilled vials are in the Ardy store. :roll:

The prayer drain for protection prayers is more than twice as fast now. If thats not a bug, I surely don't like that at all.

Oh, I expect teams to be formed. Thats how you win in there. What I don't want, is a large group of non-tipiters, ie another clan, to come and crash the party, ya know? Like, I don't want DI to read this forum, and plan to bring the entire clan and invade our invasion. So, I was hoping that SODB doesn't organize to come crash the party. Anywaaay... It should be a wild time, no matter what happens. The most people I've ever seen in there is like 40 or so. Hope everyones internet connections are top notch. Hehe. Sorry, I interpreted Rebs comments that SODB was planning on crashing the party. Mis-interpreted, rather. I feel better. Thanks Reb, and my apologies.
