I really like your overall idea with making adrenaline into energy. That just.. makes a lot more sense than what EOC is now... That overall is a pretty huge change to the system though. Also combining this new idea into momentum makes a bit more sense..

I'd rather have a somewhat ok solution than no solution at all. Jagex doesn't seem intent on solving the underlying problem.

Yea, that system is in no way fair.

The issue is that you need high level exclusive content to attract 'end game' players. But you also need to keep the game entertaining enough to get there.

Actually overall they have gotten a lot better at some aspects of quests, however story line has suffered. Also, we have as far as I remember had an update (even if only minor not counting sof/sgs) 3 weeks of every month. You're correct they have had scheduling issues, and definitely have failed on a lot of promises, but most of those were not real promises. They were far far too early in development to make promises about release time. The fact that jagex still made indications was a mistake.

That's true of MMOs though, is that order of when events happened is important, and only the people playing from the beginning really get that. Personally, I think that they could very easily put the new "open the city" quest after the old ones, but still have it "6th age-y". That is, you can't actually open the city without being friends with the elves, but they really will acknowledge the current goings on regarding the 6th age. (it would be horrible if they did not!) I honestly don't think it would be bad. (Even though it would require the quest chain, they've already said that they wanted the place to be a high level area, so it's not bad if it had locks to get in via quests) I really don't see how that would be bad? Make the quest 6th age time frame but still require the pre-guthix stuff.. I know why they chose not to do that for World Wakes.. but I don't see why it couldn't be allowed here.

It would be amazing to have the elf task set with the city. Especially because they could develop all new content on the task set, so it would really feel like exploring.

I think it does deserve a new topic as well. This could go well, I think. Or it could go horribly with polls ending up being "obvious". Also, as said on other threads... anyone who votes for something other than Priffdinas... I don't care who or where you are, I will find you.

It's actually worse now because of the exponential settings for armor, so that 90 is not just "better" than 80, it's massively better. Wearing t85 tank armor doesn't really do anything against t90 weapons from my experience. Also, it's stupid that freedom doesn't just work instantly if you're under a stun.

Hopefully both override and non-override armors count :) (but not more than once if you have both on) This way you can use the christmas-y overrides or you can hide christmas gear underneath overrides if you desire.

Trades would be fairly complicated... Grand Exchange would also maybe be limited to views, buys, etc? Not sure how sell offers would work (no access to inventory) How does this handle the pin as well. I'd like to see a ports application.

Black/white characters can only have external conflict. Gray characters can have internal conflict. For some stories a strong character with a single defining theme is better. Other stories aren't able to be told with them. But the characters always need to be well defined and have strong themes. Bandos` theme is pretty evil and many people dislike that. So putting him up for a death match is going to likely get him killed.

This is likely an engine issue.. But yes it really should be fixed. It's silly that an enemy can move and we still hit them (except for specialized aoe attacks) but we can't move while firing. Ofcourse.. that requires that movement and ability activation be "fluid" which currently isn't. Because of the turn-based combat and the grid-based movement, you have to be "in" a square to fire an ability. You can't launch abilities between ticks, so essentially you really wouldn't get much bonus. Though, longer abilities should let us move while continuing to fire..

What if the chance was quite low?

Scrapping them is the safest way, but it would be nice if they could fill current ge buy offers..

Bonds don't have the same limit as cash?

You will never fully resolve the motive to cheat but you can definitely lower a lot of the pressures that encourage it.
