  1. I just checked, and as far as I can tell (outside of maybe a few titles?) absolutely nothing from the old loyalty shop is purchasable with rune coins.
  2. I was hoping they would add the old loyalty colors into the color selection for solomon...
  3. That is the issue with the mentality if "I have to complete every temporary reward thing to 100% for ever" that most of us players have.. They give plenty of decent rewards from 5 up to 25.. so you can miss 5 (really not that hard for MMOs, since the challenges take a few minutes...) the rewards aare some free loyalty points (admittedly awesome) and some cosmetic outift you might not wear much.. The main thing is the gold version of outfit.. I do think they should give us more than 1 day per challenge so there is some forgiveness if you can't get on all the time.. but it's not like its an all or nothing if you get 29/30 you get nothing.. no, you get the 25+ rewards as well as all the px for 29 challenges.
  4. Yes the emote should not cost 20k.. I won't be able to get lamps much unless I don't get the emote.
  5. Oh you can use any higher level ammo with lower level bows? Does it scale the ammo down though?
  6. Odd. That's kind of a dumb move.. we should be allowed to deposit X though..
  7. They should just make spells into ammo that you make via magic, and equip in the ammo slot... (and require that a staff uses equivalent ammo just like range...) They should either make it exactly like range/melee or make it unique. Not this mish-mash thing where magic is now horrid because they can't seem to release high level weapons evenly. The whole way they did everything is messed up...
  8. I wish it was more xp, but I understand because the dungeoneering challenges are already pretty valuable.
  9. :( guard dogs won.. Why?!?!?!?!?!
  10. Yes, we've know that for a while, ever since they updated telescopes.
  11. Not to mention that if you do it right at reset, you have a headstart, plus .. really how hard is it to out run a pker? :)
  12. This is why RS3 will never attract a significant amount of new players. While HTML5 and NIS both look nice, they are clearly poor compared to what other renowned MMOs offer. You have to look at it through the eyes of a new player. Why would anybody choose RS over the larger MMOs? Jagex thought it would be a good idea to try and follow the path of the bigger games but all they have done is make RS look like a joke to new players (especially today where PC gaming/modding has become so popular. graphics graphics graphics.) And while microtransactions can bring in a ton of money short-term, it definitely draws potential players away. If I log into a game and see the option to purchase ANYTHING other than a membership, I'm getting the hell out and playing something else. The first thing that would come to my mind is, "ok, im at a disadvantage." RS lost its niche and with that a huge percentage of its original playerbase. I honestly can't see RS making any progress with the EOC. They've dug themselves into a hole far too deep. If the EOC was removed I could see the game begin to make a comeback, but that will probably never happen because they're just too stubborn over there at Jagex Studios Runescape's history from classic has made it fairly entrenched as the laughing stock of MMOs compared to big budget games, and there is practically nothing Jagex could do to change that.
  13. Jagex is putting out better, bigger, updates. Yes they are still (possibly incorrectly) targeting the grind based market. However, the scope, dynamics, and quality of the updates has increased dramatically. Things like NIS would have been impossible dreams a few years ago. Yes, they need a better Q/A team. Yes they aren't perfect. But they have invested more money and time into this game. That is not an indication of their belief that the game is dying. And I am fairly certain Jagex has better marketing statistics and charts than you do for their own game. Yes the player base has shrunk. But much of the player base in the past was bots anyways. And the microtransactions have indeed given them significantly more money (and it *is* the model that games use now like it or not, because it is very successful) At the moment they aren't acting like a dying game company. They are acting like a company who believes they can turn their decline around.
  14. I reset my map to the exact same as the default setting, but it still isn't being captured by DGsweeper. Sometimes the in game NPC chat bar makes it think the map was loaded when it wasn't...
  15. Wouldn't it depend on if the method used was with energy bought or no? I think it would be 80k with energy, 70k otherwise?
  16. I hope I can make every single challenge.. shouldn't be that difficult since I hope they won't take too long per challenge, so I can maybe do them in the morning..
  17. DG task list rewards seem pretty epic!!!

  19. Urge to crack terrible D&D joke... rising. Wouldn't that just be a rehash of Munchkin?
  20. A few things on their "radar" include interface re-works for NIS, the chat system incl private split, and several known bugs. Also keybinds for the number pad, and click-through windows. However, none of this has been confirmed yet, just in their list of "we're working on it or looking into it."
  21. I wish they wouldn't be us-able because it's annoying that people stocked up.. but that really isn't relevant because squeel of fortune lamps.
  22. I did not know that.. :o
  23. Less afk than jujus + porters.. But the porters are better than juju potions, so it's more afk than it was before the update, right?
  24. Pretty sure either way he's still slightly corrupted and gets the wand. That part is necessary for the overall story to continue.
  25. To spiders! AND BANKRUPTCY!
