  1. They didn't ask you to log in from the link though...
  2. Those are slots only for inventory
  3. They both have promise but need work. NIS is closer than html 5
  4. Probably will be... You should be able to get used to it though...
  5. As far as I know you can't get nests from farmed trees.. but I could be wrong.
  6. You and everyone else who isn't lying about their 60-100+ fps. TBH with what I have for a gaming rig I'd expect 60 fps. The fact that I don't get it is what bothers me. RS caps at 50 FPS, I believe...? Interesting, I may have to check out the nis beta and see if it is any better. Let us know!
  7. However, the NIS engine is vastly improved compared to current engine, (everyone I've heard of says NIS is way smoother) so I am curious how much that will impact performance after launch...
  8. It's been around for a long time but projects like that take time, and aren't as exciting so they keep getting shoved out of the way in favor of more exciting things. Basically I think they're waiting a lot more for RS3 projects to get back some developers onto other long term projects. RS has to balance between fix-up projects like that as well as working on exciting new content each week.
  9. You and everyone else who isn't lying about their 60-100+ fps. I am not lying about 50FPS. But I have a ridiculously stupid rig for just running Runescape... At any rate, computer power has almost nothing to do with HTML5 issues at present, I think that's more issue with optimizing for Web GL not doing stuff in hardware optimized ways (ie. not taking full advantage of Graphics chip offloads)
  10. Wonder why only chimes max? Seems like chimes should be the one that doesn't
  11. Wasn't max 200k after reset?
  12. I don't have high hopes anymore for release day HTML5, because it needs too much optimization.
  13. I thought this sufficient for a second post. I haven't seen anyone post the fixes updated. This was from July 3rd, 2013, so I don't know how much people have tried HTML5 recently, but looks like some pretty big improvements.
  14. Ofcourse the new stuff will be released still in beta form.. but I can still list the things that need to be fixed..
  15. This quest didn't have any thing useful to 'early' bird...
  16. Just sending ships and not buying stuff...
  17. Temple Trekking is not slayer. http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/temple_trekking.htm Read up on this, it has a lot of good info, and the game has quite a few fun rewards, and is fairly enjoyable.
  18. They haven't even mentioned what needs to be done in beta to get bonux EXP..
  19. If you are trying to DIY, temple trekking is probably your best bet to gather large quantities.. However, I would actually suggest switching to growing snape grass if you have the level for it, as these seeds are easier to gather in my opinion since they were added to several activities.
  20. It's true. Agreed. NIS has issues, and features which aren't released to beta yet. If we haven't even had the beta why would they RELEASE it? We haven't seen NIS + HTML5 yet.. They still haven't responded to a lot of interface requests and changes which are important. The layout of settings and other features is incredibly obtuse and complicated. There are at least 3 different editing modes not to mention the regular drag/drop settings. Why are these all different? They still haven't added all timer effects, it only shows combat based ones, and doesn't even show the timers for it.. They haven't cleaned up a lot of things for interface which are just unclean and difficult to navigate.. They haven't addressed multiple chat boxes being open and where the chat goes too.. If you put clan chat in a second window and regular chat in one.. when it focuses you to the regular window, typing //text doesn't put text into the clan chat... It's horrid. Basically.. the ideas are sound but the practice results in a lot of rough edges that need to be sanded over.
  21. What's the point of using a method if the players won't actually do it.. We want an actual representation of an estimate of how long they will take rather than how long could it take..
  22. I personally believe that the NIS + HTML5 will be better... But I don't have much hope as to the actual quality... I really really hope we get an NIS + HTML5 combined beta before release.
  23. in reference to things like whips? IE trade in 10 whips for 50% for 1 hour. Or something, the thing I think is fun is you could make it scalable, where you can get 50% for 10 minutes or 10% for 40 minutes or something so you can please multiple types of players. Yes. It would work well too if it picked items based on your levels, and it wasn't easy to cycle through ones you couldn't or didn't want to do (some option but make it not trivial). Basically attempting to prevent the case of only a few items being used in the sink process, and therefor not providing a general sink. (See Moblising armies for many reasons why an item sink failed.)
  24. But they also need to make it scale so that expensive-ish junk items which are floored at alch prices are also worth giving up.. I think that idea could work well..
