i think alot of posters on this thread are just plain racists. People that commit violent acts do it because they are violent people and they just use religion as an excuse. And i dont know how to explain this properly, but if you think about it, the ratio of violent acts commited in the name of religion and violent acts commited generally, is much lower than the ratio of religious people to non religious people.

I suppose so however the title of "See, this is why 61% of the British Muslims want Sharia law" is kind of generalising that the article is the reason that british muslims want the sharia law however most of the ones that want it just want to follow their religion.

i personally live in Britain and like it so wouldnt move. Hovever the scandinavian countries, Sweeden, Denmark and Norway are supposed to be among the best because they have stable governments, stable economies, pretty decent GNP and capita per citizen ect. aswell as low crime rates making them among the best places to live. Reasons i wouldnt live in US is the fact that the entire planet despises the current government, which is probably the most stupid and incompetent government the USA has ever seen, but that will change in the next couple of years (no offence to americans of course :wink: )

i think alot of you on this are generalising the muslim people. they do not all follow such barbaric laws and i would say that a higher percentage are against these laws but frightened to speak out. Those that follow the quaran (dunno actual spelling) properly realise that islam is a peaceful religion and suicide bombers, the example in this article etc. simple misinterpret the quaran and use it as an excuse for such barbaric acts. I know a few muslims that are just as civilised as you and I and the general population is hopwever the fact is you don't hear stories of them acting normal. Also the press dont write as much abouot mass rapes etc. when they are not to do with religion but they need someone/something to blame so at the moment islam is the scapegoat to may world problems. On the other hand of things, the government not just saying how awful things like the example of the Sharia law is political correctness gone mad but i dont think the muslims over here want the law for that reason. I personally think that Sharia law shouldnt be in place over here but everyone has their own view. sorry if my post is too long or talking out of my you know what.

to be fair ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã20million is a drop in the ocean for companys of this size and they should both just stop being so petty and think more about their customers. NTl/Virgin dont need to raise their costs they should just stop being such greedy sods and cover the extra costs themselves.

as if well done on doing it, i struggle to complete more than one side. have you ever seen other rubiks stuff like a triangle based pyramid or a heptagon(or whatever the 6 sided 3d shape is) also a good puzzle is a bedlam cube. it is a puzzle that was on the bbc tv show dragons den and they have taken off pretty well.

Anyone watch the Liverpool v Barca match? if so what did you think? i am personally really glad for them cos a follow all the British clubs (even Celtic and scum like man u and chelsea) but i suppose id support any of them on european nights. also what an atmosphere it must of been at anfield, they have awesome fans and a great european tradition.

At first id do all the lifetime ambition stuff, travel the world etc. Then i'd research into buying shares and investing in companys and begin that when i had sufficient knowledge. The if i had many millions ad buy really nice penthouse apartments in the worlds major cities ie dubai, nyc ect. of course its all only a dream... also i suppose id feel obliged to give a fair old whack to charity and do some charity work etc. to improve the lifesyle of others in more of a need than me
