There are elite tasks? Can somebody copy+paste the text version of the tasks so I can get a rough idea of how hard are they? I can't see any image files over here -.-

Will a higher ep get a better drops?
I don't think so, I think you have a better chance of getting better drops with a higher EP, but the drop list is the same.

Greenman's Ale(m)
If you use the stuff there is 50% chance of getting a mature ale, I think you can add two stuffs to make it 100%. If you want pieces of eight just go to trouble brewing theme world, there is almost always a game on, play a game and you will have all the stuff you will ever need.

Hand canon worth getting over Zanik's?
Well I think of the hand cannon's special like the dragon claw one, is very accurate but unlike the claws, the hits are not very reliable and the thing might explode. So use the cannon only if you are willing to spend some cash once in awhile.

Hand canon worth getting over Zanik's?
NUMBERZZZ Seriously though, the zanik cbow is worse than the rune cbow, so unless you are just using it to spec people, I don't think is a great idea. The hand cannon is better than the zanik's crossbow I believe, it has +90 range and the ammo gives +150 range strength. It is however two handed and godsword speed, the catch is that there is a chance that it will randomly explode when you fire it, the chance is scaled indirectly with your firemaking skill. So I thought is a cool weapon, but not very reliable, expensive too. So if you really want to use zanik, I would suggest you use that unless you are willing to burn some cash. Oh and the special attack of the hand cannon basically greatly increase the accuracy but also the chance for it to explode. I don't think I have seen a missed special yet, and apparently there was(is?) a bug that allows you to fire 2 shots at the same time but using the special and then clicking the target at the same time when you fire and two shots will come out. Dunno if is intentional or not. Conclusion:Go with zanik unless you got cash, but really though why aren't you using rune cbow? PS: I JUST ATE A BUNCH OF GUMMYWORMS AND I AM HIGH ON SUGAR, GO FIGURE PPS: hai numberz

Slayer Sucks
I am sorry but it sounds kind of vague. How did you figure out you made over 150m while slaying for 300 hours? I mean hell I don't even remember when did I start playing. Nevermind remembering how many hours I spend slaying, unless you decided to keep a huge motherload slayer log?

Slayer Sucks
He did the math before the mass inflation from 76king so the data is not that reliable right now. Besides if you want to talk about money, there are many many ways to make more than 460k per hour without breaking a sweat. Also he does know the most efficient way to slay, I am pretty sure he memorized zarfot's slayer guide by heart anyway. To D Jay, there is just one point I do not understand, why are you using astral rune crafting as an example to make money? I mean shouldn't gwd/dks be a better example?

Slayer Sucks
To be honest I have no idea what the data is going on right now as I really do not have time to read the whole thread all over again. I just wish to restate his points as some people are sort of not getting it. They seem to think that he is too weak to slay efficiently or just hate the skill, which is not the case.

Is adze worth it?
Don't scare him like that. Getting the adze is not too difficult, just place the yew/mage logs in there first and then light them while using either a terrorbird or the pools or the energy pots. As if is worth it? Eh is a decent item, but I can't see myself getting 92 firemaking just for it, so is not worth it to me, to others? Perhaps.

Slayer Sucks
Hey guys, I just want to recap some of the points that camp has been making over and over again. No offense but some of you might want to read the thread a bit before posting. ;-) He doesn't hate the skill, in fact he loves it, I believe he stated it was one of his favorite skill. What he is trying to say that many people thought that slayer was a great way for combat experience and money, if not the best, and he is just trying to point out that it is not the case. To soulripper88, you might want to check his stats a bit before calling him a "noob", the guy is maxed combat and has a fairly high slayer level, 90ish something I believe. Anyway in economics there is a term called "opportunity cost". The term basically means that yes you can spend 5 hour doing slayer tasks and getting money and experience, but the alternative ways offers better benefits. Some people pointed out the rare drops such as visage/robins/dragon items and what not, however they did not include the below average drops such as random coin drops and don't forget the ever popular fire rune drops. Comp has argued before that in AVERAGE, the experience and money slayer offers are inferior to other methods, that is all. Basically, he is just trying to say that the skill is inefficient for training but if you love the skill, go ahead.

best armor setup for me
Well if you really don't want quest items... Head-Granite helm/Dragon Medium Helm Neck-Amulet of Glory Body-(Rune/Granite platebody) Legs-(Rune/dragon plateskirt/legs) Feet-Dragon/rune boots Shield-Rune Defender Gloves-Err, all the decent gloves are from quests, so unless you want to wear black vamps, do the quests. Ring-Ring of wealth/warrior's ring/imbued MTA ring. Cape-Obby cape I guess if you can afford it. If not then spot/spottier cape is fine.

best armor setup for me
Should be in help&advice. I would recommend training to 70 defense and get barrow armor. If not, the Head-Helm of Neiz(pretty standard) Neck-Amulet of Glory Body-(Rune/Granite platebody) Legs-(Rune/dragon plateskirt/legs) Feet-Dragon/rune boots Shield-Rune Defender Gloves-best RFD glove you can afford or the one from underground pass Ring-Ring of wealth/warrior's ring/imbued MTA ring. Cape-Legend's cape Think I covered them all.

Kinda. Technically I didn't pay for the members. One of my friends got me a 3 month card from Target as part of his master plan to get into my pants., but he got blocked real quick. Still, kept the card. I am sorry this is off topic, but getting to somebody's pants by giving them a Runescape member gift card? yeaaaaa  LOL, yes I know. Like I said, it was just a part of the master plan, which also included ice cream, dinner, and a puppy. I'm not even joking. Oh, as for complaining about quest length, it said it's medium, so come on, let's be honest here. You know it's gonna take about 30-60 minutes to do. <_< You know I read somewhere that a pet is the worst gift ever. Because is like saying "hey I got a gift for you, it is going to eat 3 meals per day, mess up your house, requires constant care and have a life expectancy of 14 years, have fun!" Or something like that. :D On topic though I remembered somewhere that there is going to be one more quest before the elf city opens, and that one is probably MEP3. So I didn't really hold my breath. Also I remembered somewhere that a Jmod saying that between the vampyre, MEP and fairy tale storylines, they are going to finish up fairy tale first before doing others, so meh. I think this probably is a lore quest.

The website said the length is Medium. I guess this is not the super duper ultimate omfg sequel to MEP2. Oh well lore is good too. :^_^:
