As said, you should decide for yourself whether or not you think sc needles are worth it, because it does take time to obtain them. In any case, I would definetly recommend the highest of what you can make, as that gives most xp. As money isn't an issue, just buy the leather instead of hides (this saves tanning time). At 47, buy snakeskin and make vambs til 48. At 48, buy snakeskin and make bandanas til 51. At 51, buy snakeskin and make chaps til 53. At 53, buy snakeskin and make bodies til 57. At 57, buy green dragon hides and make vambs til 60. At 60, buy green dragon hides and make chaps til 61. If there's a problem with buying (time/too slow) you can always try buying max price or do cowhides in between.

Because I completely overlooked it. For that I am sorry, but you are mistaking as well. First it was: ...and then meol said: It is the same number.. so yours should have been 171, and then it's 172 now.

You get 1 slayer xp per hp of the creature you're assigned to kill. You get 4 xp per hp of the creatures you kill when not in controlled mode for attack, strength and defence. Also, in response to this: If you wound a creature beyond 50% of its hp, and another player finishes it off, you also get the full slayer xp.

Ooh, you added you added a skill sig. Didn't know you used to be p2p. In that case I'd not do combat at all until you're p2p again, but that's just me... If not, do Ice giants or lesser demons. Btw, your mining counts as nooby.. You could get that up and get smithing to a decent level as well, if not crafting. XD

Do you think your sig manipulates me enough to do as you say?

Hill giants at combat 99? With that combat one would expect you to have mastered f2p. :shame: Go do ice giants in Rimmington dungeon, or lessers on karamja. That's the only decent creatures in f2p not counting the stronghold as that's often crowded(?). If you want a challenge, become p2p and do slayer, or in case you have nooby skills, go get those up.

I guess there's no harm in trying, although you could also just get some willow and orange (or if you're willing to spend a little more, pineapple and maple) trees to level up to 65. That shouldn't take too long if you just pay the farmers and do allotments and herbs (and flowers) as well. Personally what I did was just do a farming run every day for the fruit trees, and I've done a lot of oak trees (around 3,5 hours to grow) and cabbage-watermelons. My most recent level, from 65 to 66, took 2 days, so I guess that's around 25k xp in a day (this being without doing herbs and flowers, but merely harvesting while woodcutting).
