You should be able to recover it with your recovery questions then? No matter what your current display name is, your login username will always remain the same.

In its place? What exactly do you mean by that? As the above poster suggests I would definetly try to log in, and then see what's up, but from what you've told us here I see a few possibilities. 1) Your account (assuming the one with 37 hunter has the same name and had a higher level) has been rolled back, which is a common punishment for botting. 2) Your account had been banned (years ago?) and someone has taken the name, and is the one you found in the hiscore, rather than your own account. 3) Your account was hacked and the one who did it changed its name a few times, after someone else took yours.
