Only from a distance, which happens rarely in my experience. Could be that I'm "lucky" that way, but it seems insignificant.

You may want to have a look at this guide for some basic info. It mentions some basic quests as well. As far as money goes, with your current stats you don't have that many options. Mining pure essence and killing chaos druids generally are okay methods of money-making for lower leveled players though. I would recommend you take up farming, which also has a few quest "requirements" to do it properly (mentioned in the farming guide linked). Once you reach 32-38 farming herb runs will provide some nice money for minimum effort. :thumbup:

Why do you use melee armour in combination with protection from melee? :o Melee armour lowers your tollerance for magic attacks, and those would be the only attacks you're exposed to during your fight, so you may want to consider using prayer boosting armour, or magic defence armour instead.

A knife? I'd go for using the lunar spell humidify or wearing an Enchanted water tiara. Super set and piety are rather unnecessary as these are rather weak, but I suppose it speeds things up some.. Although it might make picking up drops a problem. These creatures drop many things worth picking up, so I do wonder where you get your inventory space from. xD To answer the original question; I'd definetly say this task is worth it. Not the best xp, but decent drops and unlike Quyneax I did get a few nice elites. :thumbup: Besides, there's better alternatives as far s blocking goes.

^My login username had become available to others. While I had taken the third name, people could either time name 2 or name 3 to get into my cc. Name 1 no longer worked and was available for others to take.

Personally I'd use any "Free xp" on either herblore (expensive), prayer (expensive) or runecrafting (a pain). Since your herblore and runecrafting are very low I'd go for prayer if I were you, however your current skill levels leave a fair bit to be desired imo.

My original username is Jaffy1 (name 1). I changed it to Miss Jafje (name 2) and had that for a display name for over a year; and my older rs friends still used to type "Jaffy1" to get into my cc. The name was still mine, even though I hadn't used it for over a year. Then I changed my display name as I got bored of "Miss Jafje" (to a third name), and checked whether or not anyone would be able to take my Tip.It name (Jaffy1). They could, so after one month I immediately changed it back from name 3, to "Jaffy1" (name 1). A few days later I noticed a troll had made a newbie account and named it Miss Jafje to pretend to be me, as that name (2) became available when I went from name 3 to name 1. So yeah, I'm positive.

Yep, it works for me too. Are you sure your signature is within the allowed restrictions?

Actually, the name you have won't be available to anyone until you change it to a third name. For example, if you go from name 1 to name 2, and keep name 2 for a year, name 1 will still be yours. However if you then change from name 2 to name 3, name 1 will become available. Following this logic, if you were to go from name 3 back to name 1, name 2 would become available, and name 3 would remain yours.

I'm not sure what you did, but try taking the following steps and see if it helps? Click on "Signed in as Logdotfathead" at the top of the page. Then click "My Settings" and then the "Profile" tab. Click on "Change Signature" to change your signature and "Change Avatar" to change your avatar, and save your changes after editing each of those. You can also use the links in this post. ;)

My understanding is that, if you enter false passwords you get capatcha for your new attempts. Perhaps that's where your problem lies, because I was able to log in just fine. Wait a few minutes until you no longer have to, and then try again?

I would not consider having it on as dangerous. Always have mine on as I do group farm runs with friends a lot, and since you do get the confirmation screen before moving it really isn't like *POOF* now you're in the wilderness.
