Goodluck, I have gotten 2 Visages in around 7,500 dragons, it's not easy and you will get bored but don't give up because it will be worth it if you have that shiny cash pile in your bank.

You're like me, I was so scared my first time, I thought their breath would roast me and that they'd come close and wtfpwn me. As long as you have a anti-dragonfire shield, and a potion, and you are not within melee range, they will constantly breathe you, with 0s. If your pot runs out you'll get hit from 3-5 every breathe so just repot. It's so easy, with your range level Irons should be do-able but don't try Steels with that range level.
