Hey all, I've been doing lots of barrows lately and I'd thought I would share a few things about the barrows, my experiences and everything :) (Note: This is like other guides ) Here I go: First, you want to have the right stats. I reccomend (If you do what I do :wink: ) that you have these stats 55+ Prayer 70-80 Magic At least 70 defense 55+ Slayer ( Magic\Slayer dart) 70 Ranging (At least 70,mine is 77 and I kill Ahrim pretty fast ) Thats pretty much all I can think of My stats, just incase :P What to take with you! This is probably the hardest part of barrows..Deciding what to wear and if you want to risk something or not. Personally I don't mind taking much, I used to take full Ahrims, Full Karils, and Full Torags ( All without the weapon ) What I suggest for begginers(Will get to you pro's in a moment O.o ) Now, for you pro's out there wanting a new technique Map: Theres picture of crypts, tried making my own but didn't work so I had to use Tip.Its.. Now, for you barrower's here's how you're gonna want to do it in this order: First, when you enter the gates, you'll want to head straight to Dharoks crypt (FIRST CRYPT ON THE LEFT WHEN YOU ENTER!! Note: When you enter the crpyts you can look at the weapons on the sarcophagas(sp?) Okay,back to Dharok, you'll HAVE to prayer him full unless your ancient'ing,wanting a Death wish, extremely brave, or a pure idiot :wink: So, next you'll go to Karil (Warning: Do NOT let your guard down on him, he is one dangerous brute) His crypt is the most southern from the gates ( Check picture, that I need to get )Mage and prayer are required probably to kill Karil, just keep your prayer up and mage him to the death. Next comes Verac, take him Prayer dose by prayer dose, he's really very easy, just drink one dose and if that doesn't work, drink another to finish him off Now comes Ahrim, He's really your choice, you can drink a dose, I do because I like to do 2 chests a run, 1 dose should be enough with Rune or Addy arrows..You will probably have to eat food if you choose not pray. Now is Torag\Guthan, you choose who comes first..I'll start out by telling my experience with Guthan Okay, Guthan has always hated\loved me..He's given his spear to me twice, but when I was a barrow newbie, he beat the crap out of me and ended up killing me..Didn't lose much but still..I went back to him and taught him a lesson 1 + 1\2 hour later..But after that he hasn't given me his spear, at times I need to sell it most :(. Alright..Enough of me, back to barrows, here's what you should do for Guthan(Own him pl0x, he hates me)Prayer or Good armour will do, I wear Rune chainbody and Zamorak Plateskirt(LOL, just so I don't care if I lose it)..Wearing that, my God cape, Mystic boots+gloves, and Obby shield you should do okay hitting, that is mostly the same for Torag except Torag seems to hit a little lower, Guthan always killed me today when I was using lobsters cause I don't usually need Sharkies..(NOTE: Which ever brother is your tunnel, just go onto the next one) Alright..So your in the tunnel wanting to open that prized chest??? You want to get into the center with the chest, be ready, every door your open could have your brother behind it..If you don't find him by the time you get to the center, ****OPEN**** NOT SEARCH! Your brother should pop up as soon as you open it!! Have your prayer\armour ready, don't worry, if your brother is Dharok, he will have full HP :wink: After your brother is dead\owned, get your kill count up to about 15(You will get more runes, coins, bolt racks and such if you get higher than 10 about, you will averge on 42(?) Bloods a chest, 283 Chaos (?), 214 Deaths(?) 402 Minds (?) 51 Racks (?), Coins is to hard to know..These aren't really averaged but I just put what I usually get, After your kill count is about 15, search that chest for your reward!!!! If I am not mistaken, there are two types of afk, one being away from the keyboard with which the name stands for and the other one where you dont have to click on every monster. And I think that is what is meant by semi afk. Semi-afk is allowed by afk is not. I know of a great semi-afk spot but I would rather keep it disclosed. Message me ingame about it. My friend was banned because of "semi?? Afk training"...None of it is allowed...

And when you say no ones on the H&A board, there are people..And this board ISNT for questions, its for discussion Best training spot for training is daggonoths, they usually attack you, all monsters once there un-agressive usually don't attack you again, stopping afk training

Best is:DDS Spec, dur Worst, I'm gonna have to say that the worst is Mage longbow, also, I do not like the Dragon scimitar spec at all, always hits me low..

Lmao cheater..Your prayer is so high you could kill all 3 bros that require prayer and have 30 prayer left over -.-

Not entirely true..Slayer dart is very effective, and you end up spending more on Ancients because of Waters and deaths..It takes up more deaths than slayer dart, usually I have to buy more when using Ancients, not to metion Waters..And at 80 Magic(What most barrow'ers have) you hit 18 for a less costing, more effective way of doing the barrows..I end up using (2) Doses of prayer potion using Slayer dart. I use 1 dose with ancients( 2 doses if Dharok, or Karil are tunnel) Dose of prayer potion for ancients, not much of an inprovement in my mind.. I think that in turn, Slayer dart is best, Ancients also cost me to use more Lobsters than normal(I do 2 chests without tele'ing with 10 lobsters) By the time i'm done with my 2 chests I'm out of lobsters and when I bank I have to take a few extra out just to heal back up to full HP again.. Note: I don't mind using up the lobsters because I have piles of em..I'm just saying.. EDIT: Ancients uses more food because if you miss a shot, then the bro moves, he'll attack you and usually hit you( If you use Mystic, Ahrims can block it mostly :D )
