Profitable 50+ Skills
I think the idea of just doing continuous herb runs while training slayer would be your best bet. In your herb runs be sure to pick your 3 cactus spines as well. Or you could stop worrying about profit, profit, profit and just play the game. It's crazy how much money you make, or at least that I have made, when not paying attention to or even trying to make money. Making about 5-10m profit from herb runs (that's from buying 1 group of seeds to the next NOT per run) and a bunch of cash from slayer drops and alchable items. Just play the game and money will come.

What's a good way to do barrows these days?
Are summons allowed into the crypts? If so I would think it's pretty easy to do a plethora of runs relatively easily with a Uni or to a lesser extent something else with your summoning level.

Fastest fire cape method?
Long story short, I accepted the slayer challenge from Kuradel, now I am curious as to what is the fastest way I can get to Jad. I have done fight caves before, got to Jad and didn't go back after that. I do remember it taking me somewhere in the range of 3 hours. I do not wish to spend another 3 hours doing the fight caves. What is the fastest way possible for me to get to Jad I am hoping there is a method where it will take an hour and a half at most (90 minutes ish) I have 15m cash to spend, 99 range, 71 summoning, 99 defence yahta yahta... is it possible?

Fury - Sell or keep?
If you use it, like many others have already said, then keep it. It makes no sense to sell the best ammy in the game. Just accept the 10m "loss" and move on. The fury will make you back way more than 10m over the course of it's use.

What to do with family gauntlets?
Depends on what your next plan is. Are you going to be cooking, smithing or maging in the near future. I went with Cooking myself even though I didn't cook for like a year after. The Chaos gaunts are only really used for cheap maging on metal dragons. There are better, faster methods to kill them though. So really it's out of the Smithing or Cooking. I'd go with cooking since they are more versatile than the smithing gauntlets.

Armour for Living Caverns?
I use: Nietz Helm, Untrimmed Def Cape, Glory Ammy, Rune Plate, Granite Shield, Dragon Skirt, Barrow Gloves, and Dragon Boots. With 99 defence, it seems to work for me, I barely take damage. But then again I also use the gold mining world (84) so there are lots of other people that get attacked.

99 Herby for 200m?
EDITED... I see the explanation in the second link. That's what I was curious about.

Random event xp lamps
Use them on something that is not buyable or just plain slow. Mining, Slayer, Farming or Agility. That's how you should go. Using them on RC is kind of counter productive because, though it is a minuscule amount of exp throughout the scheme of things you are losing out on profit. (Just through my eyes anyway) Personally I go with Farming or Agility since I hate to farm and agility training gets tedious for me. If you happen to enjoy all the above listed skills, then I would suggest going with a skill you dislike doing.

Range training? Dwogres/Black Drags
I was in the same boat awhile back and did various things for ranging.. Fire Giants, Avi's, Caged Ogres and Tzhaar were my main spots. In the end I found myself just killing Tzhaar creatures the most.. I made a decent profit, nothing extraordinary, and it was rather afk'able. I believe I did 96-99 there and it took me a month give or take maybe 3 weeks and a few days. It's not the best, but it got me through the levels. I did black and blue dragons as well for a little to break from Tzhaar. Go kill 100 black or 300 blues and then go back to Tzhaar.

Halo Discussion thread
97% Fake im going with. It wasn't fake, it just took a day to get I guess because of all the masses downloading the beta on release day. I will quote what it says... just because: I think it's because I was playing halo 2 quite a bit during the beginning of the year.

Gone for a bit... Best training for 97-99 magic??
I wasn't planing on selling back gold ammys.. I buy holy symbols and accept the loss. The trouble of waiting to buy all the gold ammys and then reselling them was to much for me to worry about saving some millions. I would do plank make, but it is just to click intensive for me. Thanks for the input though.

Halo Discussion thread
Did anyone else get an email from XBL saying that they were getting sent a Halo: Reach beta code when they informed everyone that they were going to shut down the XBL for the original xbox games? They listed a few things such as; free days or months added to your XBL subscription and 400 free microsoft points. At the end of the list it said I would get a Reach beta code. I just haven't gotten an email about it and the Beta was released today so I was just curious if it would come soon or at all for that matter..

Gone for a bit... Best training for 97-99 magic??
Simple question.. what is the best NON-COMBAT training method for 97-99 magic? I was going to go with the classical string jewellery, but I was curious if there was a different way that has arisen this past 2 or 3 months. I should have about 45m after I get done mining, so that's the budget I am working with.

Mac or PC??
I truly honestly really do appreciate all the replies. Really I was always curious about the MAC's as far as how they compare to PC's. Since you can't really believe commercials and such with Apple trying to make the MAC out as the end all be all computer I just wondered how they really stacked up. Push comes to shove, if I do have enough money I will probably end up going with a MAC. Thank you for all the replies I really appreciate it. Now does anyone have any suggestions on a good MAC laptop to purchase?? Maybe a link to what you are suggesting as well?... Consider I will probably not make the purchase until next month or even, hopefully not, the month after, but I am interested in seeing what MAC's are worth it so on and so forth. Also, if you strongly strongly are against MAC's what do you think a good PC laptop would be? Link as well? I am really not asking for unbiased opinions, I just want to know what everyone prefers. Maybe I will see something that makes sense to me because you explained why or why not in such a passionate way with some enthusiasm. Make sense? Thanks again guy and girls.

Mac or PC??
 Almost exactly what I was going to say. Well I was just going to go all out and get a Hoppog (yea its a longer name than that I know  ) HD PVR. You are saying I will need a Desktop to use this effectively?? Also, the MAC book pro, is pretty much a mac laptop right? I really have no clue about anything when it comes to MAC but I have always been interested in trying. Check out this video, this is kind of the set up I was looking for: Can you explain the setup he has a bit more in depth? lol Is the wireless net thing needed for a MAC's?

Mac or PC??
Simple question really, which one would be more reasonable for me to own? Consider this is all I am really looking to do with the computer: Web browse (obviously) Run runescape rather seamlessly on ANY graphical setting. Video making. (I am looking to record gameplay from my xbox and mess around with it for youtube purposes) That is really all I am really needing a computer for. Would I be better off getting a laptop as opposed to a desktop do you think? I have never owned a MAC, only a Dell and a Gateway, so my computer knowledge is rather limited. Also, "tech" knowledge is limited as well, RAM and all that stuff, I don't know what it does so if you go into a definition explaining which is better with "tech terms" I will probably not know what the heck you were talking about. Thanks for you time.

Firemaking
I agree with the person above me, but I also understand that everyone will do what they see best with the bonus exp they can accrue. That being said: 1- Like previously stated, nothing will stack with the bonus exp. 2- I don't like the click intensive ways of FM'in either, I usually go to edge and burn a line then bank and repeat right next to the previous line I made. If you have a similar method except in a different spot, do whatever is comfortable to you. 3- For lazy people like you and me who don't like to click 1.1k is probably the max. For people who are more click intensive oriented I hear they can get 1.3k maybe more. Don't quote me on this though, it has been awhile since I have read a FM'in guide or even done the skill myself. 4- No tips or tricks. 2 Tinders is the only "trick" you can really utilize, since you are just straight line burning and not doing anything special. Hope I was helpful.

Quick and Easy smelting question.
Anyone know at all?? The loss per bar when superheating gold?

Quick and Easy smelting question.
What is the loss per bar when superheating gold??
-
Quick and Easy smelting question.
How many gold bars can be smelted/hour? None of the guides I looked at said anything they were pretty much useless when this simple question is all that needs to be answered. Please do not tell me do something else, I want to smelt gold, I don't need your opinion on how to train smithing.

Best thing to do with my time during Bonus Exp Weekend??
Well if you haven't already read the developers blog at the bottom of the mainpage, there will be a "bonus experience weekend" starting up Friday the 12th of March and ending that Monday the 15th, times are to be determined. During this time you will be given an exp bonus of 2.7 times the normal rate, however the multiplier decreases over time and eventually, after 10 hours of play, you end up with the minimum multiplier of 1.1 times. Check out the blog yourself to get a better understanding and more detail, link located below. Dev Blog Link HERE! [Hide=Bonus Exp Multiplier over time] Hour = Multiplier 1 = 2.54 2 = 2.23 3 = 1.97 4 = 1.74 5 = 1.54 6 = 1.38 7 = 1.26 8 = 1.17 9 = 1.11 10 = 1.10 Formula Link HERE! [/hide] So with that being said, I was curious as to what my time for that weekend would be best spent doing. I will only choose out of 3 things, but was curious to hear opinions on what would be best. Personally, I was planning on getting some agility done, but I have been mining pretty exclusively with my time spent on RS in recent months and my goal is 99. So out of the following 3 skills, which do you think my time would be best spent doing?? Agility- Ape Atoll Course Mining- Gold Deposits Smithing- Smelting Gold (that I mine) Eventually I will need all 3 to be 99, hopefully before the end of the year. To put it in perspective, I want 99 mining, smithing and agility for my party. With smithing I will need about 44k MORE ores than I will mine going for 99, so I will have to do another skill to buy the last 44k ores, which will probably end up being hunting or rc'in. I was curious which skill do YOU think would I be best spending my time doing? Just a quick note, after the weekend this occurs is over I will go back to mining. Also, if any of my calculations above are wrong please let me know, but I assume them to be right since it is just plugging numbers into a formula, not really that hard. Thanks for your time.
