  1. If combat is what you like, stick with it. Max that combat out : . 7/10. I like the bank and the stats. Keep it up.
  2. Void Range is most def worth it, it took me 8 hours and I had 50 points already when I started playing. It is undoubtedly the best range gear out there. I use it everywhere (yes everywhere) Including Avis. It is just so worth it. Maybe if I had the money to buy Armadyl I would think differently but I don't so I have no other opinion except from a Void standpoint, and I must say its fantastic.
  3. I was always able to use a whole Tort + my Invent and still be able to leave my house and come back with the burners still lit. I don't see how everyone else was having problems with this. Also, when I kept my alter open people with Yaks would come and go all the time, they never complained. I believe one or 2 of them told me they could use their Yak + invent before burners went out too. I finished prayer training in May by the way. (Post 'burn-x' option)
  4. That's what I wear. That Is my inventory. I only use 1 bunyip pouch per trip. When the bunyip runs out I get down to 50 hp and tele. (So each trip lasts about 42 minutes) When I bank I heal, sip a summ pot, and bring my bunyip pouch to summon once I hit the alter. Lately I have been bringing a summ pot + 2 more bunyip pouches in my invent to stay a little longer. I also ditched the super defence pot. ---------- What I found with Void was that I was recharging my prayer to often and for some reason or another the bunyip + super defence pot wasn't keeping me fully healed. (or at least in the green) Maybe it was a fluke, idk. I pot up everytime my attack level hits 109-110 (so every 8-9 levels from the max of the pot)
  5. I almost got 99 attack lol and ruined my stuff... I woulda been a little upset tbh. 93 exp away.. #-o Good luck with the rest of your goals. 99 farming was worth it though. Seems to me like you should stay away from those dam squirks.
  6. If I buy a Teacher's wand off of GE and bring it to MTA, am I still able to get a Master's wand even though I did not "earn" it through MTA? Also, how long will the 240 points take for tele'ing, Alching and Graveyard? When doing the 3 I only get mage exp right? (I don't wanna level any other stats by accident)
  7. The faster of the 2 is Zombie monkeys no doubt about it. No matter what method you use for AZ's the zombie monkies always surpass it in exp. The only reason people do AZ's is because of the profit whereas with zombie monkies you loss money.
  8. Ross: Do I use the same method as if I were chinning and just swap gear for mage gear etc etc? Also, can you (or anyone else) link me to a guide to chinning, or even maging, skeletal monkeys. It has been quite some time since I last chinned there and there may have been some updates or whatever to the method performed. I would look it up myself but I must leave now so saving myself the time of searching would be spectacular. Thanks in advance.
  9. Thank you, does anyone have any numbers??
  10. Does anyone have a guide or any info they can provide me with (preferably from experience) about bursting or barraging Chaos Tunnel mummies? Yes yes I know Rock lobbies are more worth it, but I just want to gather all the info before I make a decision. Maybe I don't want to do Rock Lobbies. Who cares the reason. I just want information on Chaos Tunnel Mummies and using mage against them. NOTHING ELSE PLEASE
  11. Your baconator count is slowing down... heart problem setting in? I hope not. ... Gabe... You're right Wendy's isn't good... Wendy's is GOD. How many brawlers are you trying to get exactly?
  12. It took me about a month to cut 43k Willow logs... and I played a lot.. probably 30+ hours a week. 69k Yews will take triple that time (maybe more maybe less) But I can remember getting 5k yews in a week back when I first started training WC I was in the 80's if I am not mistaken.
  13. Defence is #1!! Lol but srsly grats on 99 defence, great skill to have maxed. Cuts down on a lot of food costs. 8/10 :
  14. I would believe it's still effective but now a days there are a few better ways of training with the release of quests and summoning. For example Armoured zombies from the Defender of Varrock quest can get you over 100k exp and gp per hour (that's with high melee's though) Another way is with the zombie monkies under Ape Atoll temple. This requires a decent summoning level for over 100k exp/hour though. There are many decent guides on these training methods if you wanted more information. But I am sure dags are fine for average exp/hour rates and with the price of Snap seeds getting even 2 in an hours will be more than 100k profit. I do not know about the cost to buy back food though. As to whether you should use other food, I can say this with 99 defence and a Torags top/bottom I never took more than 10 total damage through my task.
  15. To be honest, with 98 ranged I find that I can wear void just about anywhere and still be able to hit often enough. The only places I can think of where it wouldn't work would be Mith drags and GWD.. But I haven't had the chance to try it there so IDK.
  16. Agreed. To be honest, you should only buy the other things available from slayer masters (Slayer rings, Broad bolts etc etc) when you have blocked all the tasks that "should" be blocked (dependent on preference). The only exception is the slayer helm. But with 68 Quest points you are kind of stuck here as well. I think steels should be your blocked task and cancel any others. That's just my opinion. Maybe a lower slayer master would be more beneficial.
  17. Sell the DFS and buy a GS, then you won't have to ask in CC :P I'll give you a 7/10. Everything goes together nicely, the stats don't suck, the bank is the same better than 65% of everyone else on these forums (assumption  ) And you have more QP's than I would have even if they came out with 100 more quests.
  18. Personally I believe the Fury is right up there as one of those "need to have" items. Like the whip, it is the best item in the game of its kind and it is not very expensive either. Do the bonuses constitute the price, I would have to say indefinitely. Unlike the Zerker ring where you get a str bonus over a Warrior ring but for nearly 10 times the price.

Whenever I go Bandos, I don't bring any god items (that I can remember anyway) I just pray mage when I enter and make my way to the hobgoblins. (Praying Melee once I get to the point where I see more bandos) Then I just get my KC on the hobgoblins and when I am ready I pray melee up until I get to the boss room. That's pretty much all I did (granted this was back when GWD first came out)
  20. Just to agree with what everyone else has said, use broad + ranging pots. The task will take 2 hours at the longest. Hopefully you get some drops to keep things interesting.
  21. I hear Euc's are a good combo of speed and gp. I don't know if you have to drop them (which obviously if they are good gp then you bank lol, answered my own statement) If not then Barb Assualt willows are good. (That's where I got 99, well 1k from 99). Took me 1 month from 94, but I played quite a bit. You could also parcel teaks. It costs a bunch of trading sticks but the price of teaks makes back the amount paid for the sticks.
  22. Well I have searched for a guide on Bursting/Barraging rock lobbies but at the 7 rock lob spot. I am aware that there is a guide in AOW on the 9 lob spot. Is it best for me to just try youtube? (I trust guides here more vs guides on youtube as far as stats and info go) ---------------------- The second guide I am looking for is some solo mage DK guides. I haven't really looked to hard for this but all I want to do is solo Mage (NOT HYBRID) A few questions on DK's... [*:23qgf9m8]Would I be better off duo'ing? [*:23qgf9m8]How much profit, if any, will I be looking at (solo)? [*:23qgf9m8]Exp/hour? I was mainly thinking of using DK's to fund my Rock Lobby escapades kind of like something like Avi's/Chins for ranging. Is this the best way to go about combat mage?
  23. Depends, what are you using the armor for?
  24. You are right about the buying part but not about the selling. After the quest Simmers End you can sell the Gold Ammys for market price to the Rouge trader. (I believe that's the NPC's name)
  25. I will be trying to get 99 slayer next year. Seems like an amazing 99 to have. Grats on that. 9/10 for dedication.
