No, the only way to "upgrade" a video card is to put a new one in. Hope that you have an AGP "brown" slot, other wise, the upgrade will be rather difficult

I think the DBA is mainly for its special. If you spec it, it raises your strength dramatically, while costing your attack (and def)?. Then switch to an accurate weapon (DL, DScim, DDS, whip, etc) and you will get accuracy with power.

Yes, your dial up modem is probably causing most of it. Its because your internet connection cannot transmit data fast enough. Runescape is not very demanding on the computer. However, their "minimums" for high detail seem to be rather insufficient. Processors nowadays are normally at least 2.6 GHz single core or 1.6 GHz dual core. RAM doesn't matter as much, but upgrading to 512 (or even 256) will help. Unfortunately it will be hard to upgrade the processor. Also, look at your video card. If you have an old video card, either replace it or get a new one on PCI or AGP. If you have onboard video, get a new AGP card. If you video card does not process video data fast enough, you will lag. I had this problem on my laptop, which had 64 MB of Video, which is sufficient on low detail, if everything else is rather up to date.

I am currently f2p with 40 Range and training at Dark Wizards in Wildy (around lvl 9 wild) Is that a good place to be, or are there some better places or less dangerous places. I am looking for exp rate, but also the ability to pick up arrows and maybe profit. Thanks!

ok... the 2x2 processor connector isn't the problem (its called ATX12V and only Intel systems need it) apparently your graphics card is receiving power also i would "reset" the bios by setting it to "recovery" mode. On an intel system its where you pull out the bios jumper. Sorry i don't know about AMD systems. Hope that helps!

Ok, before I begin, I would like to say, please don't respond with "OMG u n00b" or flame this article. I know that I was an idiot today, I'm posting this as a warning to some merchants, and just to share some experiences. I camped at Port Sarim magic shop for two days, eventually getting 17k chaos runes. I figured it would bring in 2.55 mil, giving me a profit of over 500k. So, happily, I found my way to Varrock West Bank, and repeated shouted "selling 17k chaos 150 ea - binary!!!". After awile, some guy comes up and offers 25 mil. NOT 2.5 mil, 25 MIL!!!!. Then, of course he declines. After going through this a few times, I really got pumped up, saying, "I'm gonna make some money here!" Of course, then I get scammed. Now before you all start thinking that this thread is another where some player asks for items/money, I will tell you again that that is not the point in this thread. On the last trade, he puts up 25 mil, then , somehow, takes it all out, and puts up 25k. I accepted both windows. Unfortunately, I ended up selling each chaos for less than 2 gp. I have come to realize that this is part of life and that it happens not only in Runescape. A note to those dishonest players/bots: Runescape is a place for everyone to enjoy. You do not need to deceive other players for your own gain. You will not get anywhere far in the real world by doing so. So, my last thing to say...for those reading this thread.... I have 500 deaths and 110 wines of zammy. I will sell them at fair market value, 300 and 900 respectively, in an effort to restart my merchanting dream of a red partyhat. I will remember your RSN and help you whenever possible as a way of thanking you for your help in these times. I know many have seen much more and bigger scams. I just wish to share my story. i don't know if this is best for such a high level Fortress Guards If you go onto Ice Mountain (where the oracle is) and go north, you will see four or five fortress guards. This place is rarely crowded, you are completely safe, and they have relatively low defence. The only disadvantage is you can't pick up your arrows Hope that helps!

I'm really upset at how ignorant parents can be. according to you quote If they don't want their pc damaged, they should not play the game. Also, no damage qill be incurred unless the ads are clicked. Furthermore, this "damage" consists of cookies, which are easily fixable. Ads don't destroy pc's. That idea is born out of the same type of ignorance and gullibility that sparked the Y2K bug.
