Is there a list of buy limits anywhere? If not, what you're actually asking for is that the crew create and then maintain an active list of buy limits for every GE item, which I imagine would be a large task.

If you have a spare router knocking about then you should be able to flash it with some custom firmware like DD-WRT and use it as a wireless repeater.

That's the point, it probably wasn't working properly when this topic was created, but it now should be. ;)

VNC should be pretty much fixed at this point (including the ordering for the most part).

We have a database with GE update times and unique IDs, each item then contains an ID of the GE update it relates to, so no, we're not storing the time 3,352 times (which is how many items there are in the GE). We do however store all of the items from previous GE updates along with their unique GE IDs each of which is related to a time. This database has over 3 million rows and if it wasn't fairly optimised... well, queries would be taking 15 seconds or so to run, but instead they run in under 0.2 seconds. :) The timing for the graphs is using strtotime() so it will be fairly accurate when determining how much time of a month is left and stuff like that.

You can also do: cmd /k pushd "c:\your\directory" As a shortcut.

You might be interested to know that if you're using Windows Vista/7, you can hold down shift while right-clicking any folder, and a new option will appear - "Open Command Window Here". Very useful. ;) His problem is that he's written a batch file that has cd c:\whatever In it, and when you double click a batch file it closes as soon as execution is complete, so it changes directory, then immediately closes. Using the shortcut I mentioned above will help, alternatively, change the batch file to something like: cd c:\your\java\dir cmd /k calc[Caution: Executable File] Then just close the calculator window that appears.

Avatars & Signatures We've been listening to your feedback and have decided to increase our limits on these to allow you more freedom for both. The new limits are as follows: Avatars - 100 x 100 x 100 kilobytes (102,400 bytes) Signatures - 500 x 250 x 150 kilobytes (153,600 bytes) As always, our usual rules about in regards to the content of signatures and avatars stand. Display Names This is a long requested feature and we've decided to give it a shot, with some limitations. You are allowed to change your forum display name 3 times per year, it can be any 3 times within the year (so you could use them all today) but you won't be able to change at any other time until that year has expired. Staff will NOT be taking display name change requests because you wasted your 3 changes and don't like your name. To help keep track of users, you can add them to your friends list, or you can use the "Display Name History" option at the top of each of their posts or from within their profile. As expected, impersonating Tip.It Staff, Jagex Staff, or other users with this feature will result in action against your account. The name you currently login with is what's called your "Login Name" - this will never change, and it will always be what you login with. You cannot: Change your name to anyone else's display name Change your name to anyone else's login name You can: Change your name to any free name (within our rules) Change the capitalisation of your current name Our rules have been updated to reflect this, and your display name can be changed here. Polls Originally these were never enabled for users as we felt they often detracted from discussion within the topic as users would simply vote and then leave rather than discussing the available options, but after multiple requests for this (as with display names), we've decided to give it a try. Uh, it's not more reliable at all. Invision is much more customisable with the new hooks system etc.. Unless of course you have some evidence for your claims?

Welcome to the latest version of Invision Power Board! This update has brought us to the latest version which has multiple improvements over what we were running previously. These updates include: Link Sharing - Topics can be shared via Facebook, Twitter, etc.. Status Updates - Status Updates can now be commented upon by other users and more. Topic Preview - You can now get a short preview of the first and last post in a topic from the forum view by hovering over the topic and clicking the icon that appears. Inline Notifications - You can now receive inline notifications about events occuring on the board. These can be configured via your profile and have a lot of customisable options such as being notified when someone quotes one of your posts or replies to a status update. Search Engine Overhaul - The search engine has been redeveloped from the ground up to be more powerful and useful, although there are currently a couple of bugs which we are working on that are detailed below. Mobile Skin - We now have a brand new mobile skin that should make using the board on your mobile device much easier and quicker to do. It has full support for things such as Messenger which the old skin did not. Thousands (literally) of bug fixes including issues such as searching by topic title. We will also have a couple of other surprises coming for you very soon. ;) As with all updates, a few bugs have been introduced: In resolutions lower than 1280 pixels width or so, there is a small issue with the forums on the index page not being correctly lined up, depending on your resolution this can sometimes be fixed by closing the sidebar. This issue is merely cosmetic. The comments area in blogs/gallery has a small cosmetic issue with the emoticons panel. Some profiles contain a horizontal scrollbar in their contact information area. The social networking share options within the blogs section on the CleanCut skin does not look correct. Member searching from the top right search box currently has a small issue with pagination. Gallery searching currently does not work. Some users in the online section appear to be "beneath" the board statistics on the Tip.It Theme. View New Content seems to be not working for a lot of people (could you drop me a PM if yours is working correctly?) Hide/Spoiler tags are bugged. Code tags do not look correct on Tip.It Skin For those of you who use the "View New Content" option - you may find it beneficial to visit the options page for that and change the method to "Show me all content that I have not read" if you are a very active forum user.

The search feature has been completely rebuilt in the newer version so let us update to that before passing judgement. ;)
