A fully broken Flail costs 100k to repair, just like all other Barrows weapons. The Flail has the exact same stats as a Whip, only +2 more Str Bonus and it has a +82 Crush Bonus instead of Slash. Also it is a 2H weapon

This is definitely it. It would be the morning where i finally bought my first Rune Longsword for 30k (Don't flame me, it was a long time ago) and stored it in my bank. Then I ran over to the Hill Giants in my shiny new Rune Chain, which i had spent the whole day before trying to get, and trained like crazy till 40 attack. Then I ran back to the bank, took out my Rune Longsword, and wielded a Rune weapon for the first time. I looked like this --> :mrgreen: Interestingly though, nowadays when i get a Rune Longsword in a clue reward, i just alch it and move on. Boy do things change huh? :

This one time my friend Redninja had a lvl 3 wilderness clue, so me and my other buddy Tyweed decided to go with him as backup in case we run into trouble. His clue turns out to be the map clue by the little volcanos south of the Mage Arena. So we get the casket then decide to high-tail it over to the Mage Arena bank. Then as we're running we see another guy, with no items equipped, dig with a spade and stop. Then he put on a Saradomin Kite. Long story short, Redninja ran for the teleport lever and me and Tyweed jumped the dude with the Sara Kite. He protected it, but the whole experience was pretty fun :mrgreen: Edit: The clue we did turned out to be junk. 2 Rune Daggers and 7 Red Firelighters -.-

Yea you should do just fine. I personally suggest that you buy a Slayer Staff and use the Magic Dart spell, which is very good against all the brothers except Ahrim. For Ahrim just take a DDS and spec him a few times.

The Dragon Sq shield is more of a status symbol than a training item (especially if you got the halves and made it yourself). They are however good shields and look very nice with Dragon Chain and Legs. If you are planning on buying one for training purposes, go with an Obby Shield.

I have a theory on why this is: In f2p, there are only 2 methods of gaining prayer xp, regular bones, and big bones. Many members take advantage of this by selling big bones (which are much more easily obtained in members worlds) to f2pers at much higher prices. I can support this by saying that big bones have a much lesser value in members than they do in f2p.
