  1. Actually, n. 1. A band or badge worn around the upper arm. 2. also bras̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâ÷sart (br̢̮â¬Â°Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢-sÃÆÃâÃâärt, br̢̮â¬Å¾Ãâ ââ¬â¢sÃÆÃâÃâärt) A piece of armor covering the arm, especially from elbow to shoulder. You're partly right. And, of course, Jagex is partly right. umm.... brassard..... not bras sart.... BRASSARD Actually you are both right. Look it up in the dictionary, and it is Brassard. But keep reading and it says "Also brassart." Spell it either way, it is the same thing. It's like color (American) and colour (Canadian). Means the same thing, spelt a little different.
  2. If you die, you can bury your own bones... Strength, when it comes to fighting, has nothing to do with the muscles of your charachter... ie: you can carry 28 plate armors, or 28 lobsters, or 28 pieces of coal, or 28... in your backpack. Wouldn't you think some of that would get pretty heavy???
  3. Moose585, 0/10, but at least we have a location in common (Sask). Maybe I see you more than I know. :D
  4. I do have to add one thing. I agree with everything that Swampjedi said in his article, but I have to disagree with one thing from this thread. And that is Pixels = Money. Yes, if you pay for the game, you have invested money into said pixels, but if you are not a member (as I am not) I can not agree with this statement. Sure I have put time into the game, and therefore Time = Pixels, but it is my choice to play the game. I could instead take on a different project and renovate my house, which would turn Time = Nicer House, which, when I sell it, would then be House = Money, or Time Invested in House = Money. Sure Time = Money, but what are you doing with that time. Something constructive, or something fun? In my eyes it stands to reason that having fun, or leisure time, does not equal money... unless you get paid to have fun. I know that I don't... Just my 2 cents.
  5. Well Swampjedi, I was in on this rant when it first started back in '06. I agreed with it then, and I agree with it even more now. When I saw that you were writing the Times article this time round, I knew it would be good, I just didn't know THIS good. It is much more thought out than the rant (IMHO) that you had posted. As others have voiced, those reading don't really need the slap in the face that this delivers, as most of them are already living by these words. I just hope that one of the people you are talking about reads this and tells one of their 'in game' friends to read it and so forth and so on. Party Hats off to you sir.
  6. I am in agreeance. Definitly put me onto your petition list. I hate that when you pull your axe out, and go to put it back, it is now at the bottom of the list. I like my axe beside my tinderbox, my pickaxe beside my ores, which are beside my silver and gold bars... add nauseum. I went and picked up a second of alot of my items so that I can leave one in the bank and have it's spot left for when I put my other one back. Auto-arrange works well, unless you don't want it... :wall:
