No, no, no... This just sets up the fall of everything in RuneScape... Let's review... Player 1: Sell full rune, 1k Player 2: 1k, for real? player 1: yep, only 1k Trade happens, using the bank to bank... Sure, this scenario sounds good, but what about this one... Player 3 and Player 4 (friends) go on a monster killing spree. Player 3: Oh man, I'm outta swordies Player 4: Just trade with me, and take some outta your bank Player 3: Oh yeah, I'm such a noob, I forgot you could do that What would be the point of RuneRUNNING if there is NO running involved. Two players could just sit at the Nature Alter, craft, trade, take out more ess from bank as they are trading, craft, trade.... See the point? You would never have to go to the bank again. This would be like suggesting to install ATM's everywhere. Hey, we're based in a midevil time, but let's install bank machines and institute cheques that you can write into the game... This suggestion would be the end of RuneScape for me if it was ever instituted.

Umm, is it just me, or would that take ALOT of server space. Every time someone does a quest, Jagex makes a video of it, just so that you can watch it again? I don't know if this is what you meant, but if so, I doubt Jagex would take the time or money or energy to video EVERYBODY'S quests. Plus, what about the quests that people have already completed that haven't been videoed? They'll never be able to watch...

I do like this idea, but it should be less than 1 item per hour. Maybe only twice per day. Perhaps you can only throw in 2 things per day, and only take something out, if you throw something in. That would further prevent beggars. I also like the randomness of what you get out. I can see it now, new player smiths 500 bronze axes, throws them all in the wishing well. Old player, throws in fune simmy, in hopes of getting something good back, gets a bronze axe. The scam that I can see happening is scammer: Hey, give me your _____, and I'll throw my _____ into the well and you can just take it out. player: Ok, here's my ______. scammer: Ok *throws in bronze dagger*, go get it

I report it all the time. Especially when I'm fishing lobbies or sharks on Karamja. People spam there all the time.
-
I get that alot too. It's just opening your bank lower than the top line. Mine doesn't open that far down, just so that you can only see the last line. Just use the scroll at the side and scroll up to the top.

Nobody else likes this??? Bump!

Ultra Awesome Ingame Improvement, 3 supporters!
kelbri replied to Komodoman360's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I just checked the support list, and I thought I had already supported this... If not, full support, except storing gems in it. But yeah, all that other small crafting stuff, for sure. -
This is included in Rule #1 from Jagex, and is a reportable offence. Many people will flame me and say that you shouldn't report it, but hey, it's against the rules, and yes, it is annoying too...

Of course they have bigger things to worry about, they always do... As for the color, like I said, I really don't care, I have just never seen a blue dot on the screen before (since I am f2p), so I suggested it, along with some other colors. Make it plaid for all I care, after all, it is just a colored dot.

new minigame idea: The runescape Orphanage 88 Suporters!!
kelbri replied to Lord-kain1's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
if it was added it would always be there for ya if/ when you become a member :) thanks for support LK1 LOL. Yeah, that's true. One day I plan on getting members, when all my f2p stats are 99   -
I understand what you are saying, but it is already like that. Red stacks ontop of red, so you only see one red dot, even though there are bones, arrows, coins, ashes and a bronze dagger sitting there, from 2 different monsters, and 3 different rangers (just an example people). The color dot (that only you can see) that represents recent dropped items from yourself or a monster, would default to be ontop of the red of other items, that can be seen by anybody, for only you. Everybody else would only see the red dot of items that they can see.

new minigame idea: The runescape Orphanage 88 Suporters!!
kelbri replied to Lord-kain1's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I like this idea. Give back something to the game kindof. Even though I am f2p, and would never get this update, I support it. -
Like I said, whatever color, I don't care. Some color that isn't already used. As for having "seen no one that's had problems with this. Ever" doesn't mean that there aren't people out there that wouldn't like to see it happen. You're not the centre of the universe, like you may or may not think. There are probably people that you have never met... Good argument for. Especially if you're using higher level arrows, like Mith or Addy.
-
Wouldn't it be nice if there were two different colors for items that are on the ground? Use a color that isn't in use now (blue, purple, grey, I don't care what) to identify objects that only YOU can see. Like once you've killed a monster, the items on the little world screen show as blue, until everybody can see them. That way you know when the items come available for anybody to pick up. Sorry if this has been suggested, but I couldn't find it with a seach. Anybody with any thoughts? Support list: Lord-kain1 Madmax410 unkn0wnwarrior dude_of_war4

Or sleeping in a bed, or sitting on a chair... Can you do this in members? Perhaps if you do this it recovers your hitpoints faster? I've always wondered that too. Maybe it's too programing intensive, I don't know...

I would have to say to leave it the way it is. It removes any competition and easy leveling to the skill. Can you imagine, heading over to the Al-Karid mine, look at the spot of 3 iron rocks, roll your mouse over, and see 50 people there, power mining? Where's the fun, the competition, the running so that you get to the coal or gold first?

I think what he's saying is that you use money to buy bones from other players, thus spending money, and thus it is a money drain. Sure, sure, it drains YOUR money, but that money goes to someone else. It doesn't drain from the economy, it just goes somewhere else in it. So right now, it really ISN'T a money drain. I like your store idea, but I think the reason that they don't have a bone store already in the game, is that they maybe WANT prayer to be hard to level. Plus, I see all sorts of players, that take the items that monsters drop, but leave the coins and bones (depending on the amount of coins dropped). So would it even be a popular spot (the store that is)? Who knows. I try and bury ANY bones I see laying around, so if I had a few extra gp, I may use it. As for the doubling already gained xp, I would have to say no, no, no. Leave the xp the way it is. It takes a long time to level up prayer, but that's the way it is. Makes 99 a bit more of a challenge, amongst a bunch of skills that are easy to get 99 in.

::;:::Better ways to keep your account safe! 30+ supporters!
kelbri replied to The_Gabe's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
This is a great idea. It could serve two purposes. It would make sure that everybody has these things in place, and it could also deter macroers. Not only would they have to now set the bank pin, but that means that they would have to use it. Not that this would get rid of macros, but it would certainly annoy them. It may also annoy older players that make a new account, but they'll get over it. It wouldn't affect the new players, because they wouldn't know that it was ever any other way. -
Random Event Item Return [75 Supporters]
kelbri replied to rsoxfan3's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I'm confused...what should the suggestion be? #-o My suggestion was that you can't tele to a spot where you could get your stuff back, but the next time you get the random event, the character will give you back the stuff that you lost... if you do more than usual... Like instead of doing 5 pushups, 10 situps, and 5 starjumps (or whatever it is), you have to do double that. This is so that you can't just get it back as soon as you loose it, you have to get the random again... It requires more work. -
Ummm, that's exactly what I said. But yeah, you have to be level 30 or above, AND ranked within the top 1 million.
-
Here you go... The simplest explanation is this... You HAVE to be at least level 30 to be on the high scores list. But the list only shows the highest ranked players, to the first 1million players.
-
Well, it looks as though you don't need a supporters list from everything that I've read... And I read EVERY single post, not just yours... So I have to agree with everybody that has responded so far (except the guy who said that you're jelous because you can't high alch, since he obviously didn't read your whole post as you stated that you are level 96 magic). We all seem to be on the same page here. Alching = good. I do seem to fail to see the reasoning behind this: Now it may just be me, but that is extremely hard to follow... Let's see now. I'm gonna go out and spend 800gp in order to alch a Yew long for 768gp. Hmmm, I'm gonna loose 32gp per Yew long I alch? Well, maybe if I buy enough of the stuff, and alch them all at the same time, I will come out on top... :wall: Plus, like was stated before, the 800gp you spend isn't being "added" to RuneScape, it is being "redistributed". C'mon here. Most of the people alching 5,000 Yew longs at a time don't buy everything, they make it all themselves (with exception of the Nats most of the time I'm sure). Alching like this is used for 3 reasons... Reason number one is so that they can craft, or fletch or whatever Yew longs and get the xp for making 5,000 Yew longs. Then they get magic xp for alching them. Then they get money for their efforts. But I am f2p, so what do I know??? Here's what I do... Mine 5 iron ores. Mine 10 coals. Smelt 5 steel bars from iron and coal. Smith 1 steel plate from 5 steel bars. Purchase 1 nature rune. Weild fire staff. Alch 1 steel plate body into 1,200 gp. Why do I do all of this? For the reasons stated above. I get 675 mining xp from mining ores. I get 462.5 smithing xp from smelting and smithing bars and steel plate body. After alching, I then receive 900 gp (1,200-300) for my efforts. Now if I do this 5,000 times, what would I do with 5,000 steel plate bodys? Who is gonna buy them off me if they can't alch them either? I try to sell them at the general store, but everybody making Yew longs, and d'hide bodys, and steel plate bodies, and on and on and on, are all trying to sell the wares that they made to the general store too... Along with everyone else selling willows, and goblin armours, and bronze stuff they just smithed. I'll sit there for hours before getting an open spot that I'm fast enough to get into... Do you see my point? If there is no way to get rid of all this stuff from your inventory, other than dropping or selling to the general store, what would you do with it? Why would I train my mining and smithing? To make my own Rune Plate body? By the time I can, don't you think I would have needed that Rune Plate body 100 times over because I got killed from pkers while trying to mine rune ores?

I totally understand what he is saying... Get evil chicken random. Fight it for a bit. Walk on top of it (you won't see it because you are there, and any player or NPC will dissapear under you) and it "dissapears". Walk to a different spot, chicken "reappears" (ie: you're not standing on top of it anymore) and it has full hitpoints back. It will then proceed to tell you to flee again (or whatever it's opening line is when it shows up in the first place). What's not to understand??? Haven't tried it, but it definitly sounds like a glich I will try next time I get an evin chicken...

kelbri replied to 123rockstar's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Not to mention that the poster makes it seem that these pieces of armor are already available :shame: Can you say spam???
