Because you obviously have a grudge against Sony. I NEVER said the facts were wrong, I just fixed a few of your (?) points that were wrong. The games WILL be $60 USD, and for some reason you can't believe it.. why? HDMI is a plus for the PS3... the 360 doesn't have it AT ALL... So how is it negative. It is just little things like that. I am going to drop this now. You are entitled to your opinion, and so am I. It isn't even worth arguing over. I'm just angry at how everyone is putting down sony for so many reasons while microsoft has just as many flaws. While I own all 3 current Gen systems, I think I am going to skip out on this next generation and go pure PC gaming. I may buy a Wii, but that is it.

I can make around 1m per hour merchanting some raw materials.. Or I can make around 500-600k (possibly even more) per hour at green dragons (117 combat) by using the ancient magic teleport. 600k per hour + decent combat xp is nice.

First of all, it is $500 and $600 USD (are you talking USD aswell?). Second, the only HD support the cheaper version doesn't have is HDMI, they can still use HD through component cables just like the Xbox 360. HDMI is just a little brighter/crisper (supposedly) and you probably wont even notice the difference unless you are on a resolution of 1080i.

On G4 last night, they let Kevin from Attack of the Show play around with the creature creater and it looked AMAZING. I am so excited for Spore now.

OMG. You are extremely Biased with this list... You just seem to shoot down Sony for no particular reason and nothing to back up your points. First of all, every console has 'lies'. ALL Xbox 360's were supposed to have hard drives, but at the last minute, Microsoft changed that.. Why don't you point that one out? The fact that sony took something out isn't that big of a deal since the system IS NOT OUT YET. And Xbox360 doesnt even have HDMI, how can that possibly be a negative on PS3's list? It would be more like a +/- if anything. And the games are $60, check reseller websites. Last, GTA4 is supposed to come out on PS3 same day as Xbox360. (heard from 1 source... We will find out soon enough for sure.) /end rant.

Some things to change.. PS3: HDMI will be included in the 600 version, but not the 500 version. GTA 4 WILL be coming out for PS3 the same day as XB360. And the games will be at the same 60 USD price point as the XB360. and as for the negative about the gyro in the controller.. Um.. Not all games will use it, and im sure it will not be used in any game that wouldn't benefit from it.. That isnt a very good negative. I was not flaming, I was just trying to point out why I think your prediction was wrong. You could be right, who knows? The ps3 isnt out yet. And I know you were talking about the next gen market, I was just using examples of the last generation to show why you can't really make that sort of prediction yet. Please don't take it the wrong way... I just like to debate a lot when it comes to game consoles. (usually because of the bias opinions of fanboys.. not saying you are one, but still.)

Considering how many Xbox 360's sold on Ebay for 600-1000 USD, I don't think the price will have THAT much effect on the Sales of the PS3, Especially since the PS3 will have a Blu-Ray drive, which to any tech enthusiast, is an amazing bonus that puts the PS3 way ahead of the Xbox 360. I don't own an HDTV, but anyone who does and wants to watch movies in HD will see the advantage. Don't count sony out people.

considering the current market is ps2 > xbox > gamecube, LP, your predictions are way off. PS2 has sold over 70Million units worldwide (that was back in 2005) while the xbox is around 15Million (it was around 10m in 2005) and the GC is on par with the Xbox or less (havent seen a sales figure for GC in a while). Xbox 360 has been out for about 6 months now, and they have shipped 3.3million units worldwide.. while Sony, in the first six months of the PS2 sold over 6.5million units worldwide and over 15million units within 12 months. Why, if it will be Xbox360 > PS3, is microsoft not gaining the lead that PS2 had in the last generation? Edit: Just found updated Sales Figures for 2006

its developed by Sony so i dought it :lol: The Gran Turismo series is developed by Polyphony Digital, and published by SCEA (sony). And no, Poly will not be moving to Xbox.

I'm no halo fan.. But I have to admit, that trailer was pretty hot. :shock: I am so excited for this next generation of Gaming... All I need now is an HDTV.

As for the motion sensor in the PS3, there were rumours of this back in 2003 (Before Revolution was even announced) and by no means is the Xbox 360 innovative, it just has a different shape. I just don't understand why people are hating the PS3 controller and not the Xbox 360. Blame that on the lawsuit. Microsoft payed their way out of it while Sony tried to fight it.

For all the people hating the PS3 controller... Why? Xbox 360 now has 4 shoulder buttons, who did that first? Sony. Xbox and Xbox 360 has TWO analog sticks, who did that first? Sony. If it isn't broken, why fix it? They just took an already excellent controller and added some extra features, what is so wrong with that? I personally love it. If the design worked for both PS1 and PS2, it will be perfect for PS3, especially since it will be backward compatible for all Playstation (1 and 2) games. As for the pricing though.. I hope the 60GB Package has more than just 40 extra GB.. That would be a complete Rip-off. In a year or two I'll probably end up owning all 3 consoles, but the first one I will buy is the Wii, then PS3.

The only reason slayer dart hits so good on the melee brothers is because of their 0 (or is it negative?) magic defence. They have absolutely NO magic defence, of course you would hit with a low magic bonus. I've seen people use slayer dart on karil and ahrim and splash a lot, and that is because they have HIGH magic defence. I do not see why they would make a magic bonus have no effect on slayer dart when your other combat bonuses effect the other slayer equipment.. would that make sense at all? Oh and what is wrong with monk robes? I use monk robes with a +30(ish) Magic bonus so I can slow my prayer drain rate, and I rarely ever splash. It saves prayer so why not?

It is a 1-way shortcut leading from the troll place into the wilderness. You can not use it to exit the wilderness.

would be awfull if EA get it Acclaim doesn't own the rights to Mortal Combat, Midway does. The games on that auction list are just the old Mortal Kombats (1 and 2), and it looks to me as if they are selling actual bulk amounts of games, not the liscenses to them.

Very nice! I definately think this is worthy for the Archive of Wisdom, we just need Leesters to see it :D . I especially like the crafting/prayer section.. I had no idea about the ancient magic tele being close to greens, I always used that stupid canoe! Thanks for that tip :).

Another reason is this.. Jagex released new treasure trail items, meaning the chance to find a particular item is even harder because there are even more items to get. The same thing happened to Robin Hood Hats, they went up 1m+ after jagex released the new treasure trail items.

Ive got around 15k. My brother has about 32k. (he is 99 combat with 81 pray :shock: )
