256MB of RAM would be plenty. More RAM just means more loaded at a certain time, while every game on current gen systems use streaming data that loads while you play (and it works very well). There is really no NEED for more RAM, it would just make programming the games much easier, because instead of streaming all the data, they can load certain textures onto the RAM. Also, the PS3 was going to have 256MB system RAM, and 256MB Graphics memory (total 512MB), while the Xbox 360 just has 512MB shared between the two. The ps3 actually has the edge with the RAM in this case because of the higher bandwidth on the Video RAM (which is the most important for graphic intensive games). As for the Cell processor.. Unless they Intentionally disable the extra cores (which they will not) it wouldn't even be a cell processor. ALL cell processors have 8 SPEs and 1 PPE core (total of 9) but the PS3 will only use 7 of the SPEs (one is reserved for redundency) and the PPE core (for a total of 8.). Also, they plan on using a few of the cores for dedicated physics (PhysX) processing, meaning better physics for the ps3. Also, Sony and Microsoft take HUGE hits on their hardware sales, which they make up in software sales. So don't be too sure about the price of the ps3 quite yet. It will definately cost $500+ though.

This is FALSE. Special attacks do not cause Spinners to spawn. I have tested this extensively and I use specials every other round. NEVER have they caused a spinner to spawn.

Yes, that just shows how much my original post was misleading. Only at a high prayer lvl (say 75+) is it worth training prayer at the new minigame. Actually, I think that stands true for almost any combat skill. But it's still more fun. I think jagex should add something to the mini-game to give it more incentive since everyone just sees it as a way to get xp, and not fun... Maybe a chance to get cool armours like castlewars but without changing the xp rewards.

I beg to differ, I highly doubt the prayer EXP at this new place is better then Ectoing. At level 58 I would get about 561 exp from this new mini game. Thats only about 2 dragon bones ectoed. Now... it would be different if you were killing the dragons yourself... but most people usually buy the bones in bulk. So I would have to say you're wrong in that respect. Correct me if I'm wrong. EDIT: At first I forgot to take into consideration the amount of points a person gets. I suppose if you'd get 15 points in the new mini game, it would be the same as ectoing, but definitly NOT better. If you get anything below 10 points... My guess would be that you'd be better off ectoing. NOTE: I am by no means saying this game is useless. God knows I'd be playing it if I was still a member. I just also understand where some of the complainers are coming from. I knew someone would argue the point, and I am glad you did. I forgot to take into account that prayer level makes a difference. But my point was that when KILLING dragons, it is slower to ecto. Of course buying bones would yield a much higher xp/hour, but that would also cost way too much (the mini game is free, no food required, prayer recharges each time). Also, When you buy bones and ecto, you ONLY get prayer XP, but when playing this minigame, you get combat XP for killing the monsters and portals. At 494 (argh used to be 988) xp per point, I find the prayer XP to be pretty good, considering each game takes 2-3 mins tops. I am 77 Prayer BTW. Oh and one more point.. Ecto is BORING, this game isn't :P.

I agree with Paul. The prayer XP is still faster than killing dragons and ectofuntusing the bones, so why is everyone complaining? Not to mention you get combat XP for killing the mosters or portals. People still play castle wars and there are NO XP rewards there, just some low-defence decorative armour, so why would people stop playing this? Im sure this mini-game will have a long life.

Im sure they did that on purpose, just like the big ape guards on ape atoll, blocking that one trap door. It would be too easy if everyone could run right through them or automatically find another route.

It was too much anyway, I was getting 988 pray xp each and the games lasted 2-3mins. Now its only like 495.. Oh well thats still more than an ecto'd drag bone.

Moved to the correct board. I got my 1st freaky forester while ranging fire giants.. and I forget when and how I got my 2nd one, but I haven't had one in a while.

My grandmother used to play too :lol: But she moved on to WoW. :? I think im going to use this course. I got so bored of the wilderness course once I hit 1m Agility XP... I'll use this course to get 85 agility now :P. Edit: I've been training there for a little over 30mins now and haven't failed any obstacles yet :shock: . Oh and I am 73 Agility.

Saradomin and Guthix pages are around 100k at the most, while Zamorak pages can go for around 250k if you find a good buyer.

Another great thing for cooks is how close the new bank is to the 'Lumbridge Range.' At 84 cooking I burn 0 to 2 sharks per load of 28 :P . I think this is one of the greatest update ever. Exactly where is that? :oops:

I never lose my pouches, even if I end up dieing.. If you get attacked by a PKer, drop your pouches IMMEDIATELY and if you die, your pouches will NOT dissapear. You will have exactly two minutes to run back and pick them up (it is much easier if you did that quest to spawn in falador). I use this method and I never lose my pouches. Edit: I can't believe oergg beat me by 1 minute :shock:

Have you checked for viruses, spyware, and adware lately? Also, have you tried different servers?

I can see why jagex would lock the account, and knowing jagex, they probably did.

While you do have some strong points, I can't entirely agree with you. Think about it this way, Autoers ruin the game for the people playing legitly, and if people start to hate the game for this reason, they will quit and cancel their memberships. Why would jagex want to lose the honest paying players over the dishonest autoers? Also, I think 15k is a pretty significant amount, no matter how many players there are. gotta get back to class, ill post more of my opinion later. BTW, I hate all vegetables.. but If i had to choose one, lettuce maybe?

We are human just like you, we can make mistakes. I almost didn't notice it myself. I've never had this problem.. but I haven't used the new highscores all that much yet. I'm sure its just some lag issue, nothing a refresh wouldnt fix. Besides, if it is buggy and you don't like it, you really don't have to use it. As for the scroll bar disapearing, i've had that happen before on the RS site while using the forums, nothing native to the highscores.
