  1. Alright, let's try to get back on topic. I cleaned up all the extra posts. Edit - sorry Phil guess I sorta reigned in your territory :P
  2. 55 Slayer so you can use the Magic/Slayer Dart spell. 43 Prayer so you can use Protect from Melee. Also, High defence is an advantage. You will need to train pretty much all of your skills if you want to be able to make a profit at barrows. At your level it will be extremely hard if not impossible.
  3. There is no way, you are out of luck. The only other way to get to Ape Atoll is to use the teleport - which you need to beat the Monkey part of Recipe for disaster to even be able to use. Jagex has been giving an upper hand to all non-pures lately.
  4. From personal experience, I say keep it. I regret selling my Phats for prayer back in 2004... I think you should hold on to one rare, and if you do sell the mask, buy a cheaper rare just to have something. You could just keep it, make more money, then spend that money on armor/magic instead.
  5. Please use the price check sticky in the Market boards for price checks. Also, I use the method Soul_Tar posted and it works very well.

  7. That is the only part I don't understand... Jagex puts the flowers you need on the enemie's side of the map, but they also let you burn the bridge of your enemy, preventing you (and your team) from easily getting the flowers - which are a vital ingredient for both the Rum AND getting the bitternut. So if you burn anything, just don't burn the bridges, it slows both teams down.
  8. What on earth do u mean couldn't ue range in hand to hand combat? I am fairly sure that you could if u just had ur bow out And you can still fail magic spells aka when they do tht annoying grey splash and complete miss the target I think he means melee, as in Halberds. Edit - I think devilchild is right. I think I'll have to go back to RSC for a day to remember all this stuff.
  9. 1. No auto cutting/fishing/mining. You had to click every time. 2. No running, making bank trips much longer for any skill or task (say.. Tanning hides, buying vials, etc.) 3. There were no bank notes, making trading materials like bones, bowstring, and other materials much more tedius and time consuming. Coal, lobsters and other items had to be "certed" in draynor to be able to trade large amounts at a time, then had to be "un-certed" to be able to use again. 4. Combat: There was only 1 weapon speed, you couldn't eat while fighting, and you had to fight atleast 3 rounds before you could run away. 5. Alchemy: You couldn't alch notes because they didn't exist so you had to alch a load then bank. Also, there was no runecrafting and runes were much more scarce than they are today. 6. There was no Smith X, Fletch X, Cook X, Craft X (or any other do x type of skills) you had to click each time. Those are a few. There are so many more...
  10. I remember someone posting something similar to this, but it wasn't this extensive. Very nice guide! POHs really opened up so many possibilities.
  11. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=487 ... =karambwan Search is your friend!
  12. There is already a topic on this. It was only about a month ago I remember posting in it. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=263 ... e&start=75 Did a search, came up as the 5-6th in General. Search FTW!
  13. All small/hidden updates belong here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=483454
  14. That is a perfect date/time for me, I will be there! Oooooo I know your RSN :-w (why is it a secret btw?) You made a typo, its the Ring of Life.
  15. Boots of Lightness Or maybe a super strength.. or a whole super set. NOoooo I want that huge meat tenderiser from recipe for disaster!
  16. Meh, I like my Veracs method better... -For the melee brothers, just pray on Dh + Verac -For the Karil, switch to whip + obsidian shield -For Ahrim, switch to mage def + dds and 4spec him (dies so fast) and finish with whip if he doesn't die. (so you can melee the whole trip) But then again, I have higher stats and I don't follow any other guides to barrows.. I always have my own method of doing things. Nice guide though. Veracs is definately more profitable if you have higher melee stats.
  17. I just tested it out on the Ape Atoll monkeys and I can confirm that while training on defensive, I switch between Odd and Even numbers meaning that they really do give more than exactly 4.0xp per hit.
  18. http://news.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/r ... .ws?id=208 4th line from the bottom... This list was released right after RS2 was released.
  19. Woah woah woah... calm down flammer. I put the :^o emote there so you'd know i was joking around. I have no idea if this is going to happen, I just have a hunch that is going to be comming very soon. I mean, they were suppose to put in clan support in 2005 the same year as POH (go read updates planned for 2005). It only makes sense (in my wierd little mind). Were only half way through 2005 and there still other updates promised that haven't come. =; 2005 was last year buddy... We are way more than halfway through it. Condor is just making a guess... Condor, I think you may be on to something
  20. I noticed this at the big guard monkeys on Ape Atoll. They give about 4.1333 xp per hit or something like that. I didn't know it happened with other monsters aswell... That is really cool.
  21. Moved to Help and Advice. First, are you lvl 95 combat? or 95 mage? Second, it is good magic xp for the sole reason that it is cheaper. You can melee the whole game, then trade in your points for Magic XP, making the XP practically free (instead of having to buy runes).
  22. You know.. All this time I always wore my fury for extra mage def.. But I could have been wearing a salve? I'll be using one from now on :P
  23. Good luck man, I'm sure you will get it. I may go for 85 slayer myself, who knows. (Go barrowing for C-balls)
  24. By far Recipe for Disaster... First questin a LONG time that I actually enjoyed completing.
  25. In the wilderness while Mage Pking sure.. But I would never waste money on Guthans OR Bloods spells for castle wars. Why not just use free bandages?
