I am definately hitting higher with the range prayer. Normally with broad arrows + range potion I hit 16's, with the potion + prayer I am hitting 18s.

Selling my Red and Green Phat for dragon bones (green was around 6m, while red was about 7m). At the time dragon bones were 3k ea and ectofuntus didn't exist. I got 300k prayer xp... yep. It was just enough for me to reach 100 combat. I really regret that now. But that was pretty much the entire reason I bought Phats at the time. They both went up about 1m before I sold them. Back then that 2m was a lot and I just wanted to train my skills.

I wouldn't wan't a free 99. It takes away from the fun of training them yourself. Having a stat at 99 takes away most of the enjoyment out of training it. I personally hate training after hitting 99, it just seems like a huge waste. Almost every skill is useful up until 99, therefore I would rather get the benefit of training them myself. The only skill I could think of that doesn't really matter is firemaking. So if I really had to choose a skill, I would have to say firemaking.

I hope you don't mean trouble brewing :notalk: I actually like that minigame, and the costume even more. :P As for the update, maybe *gasp* clan support? The only reason I have never joined a clan is because of the lack of in-game clan support.

Yeah, that would be great, wouldn't it? I remember the day the rings came out I frantically searched through all the guides on the fairy rings to find one that teleported to (or near) the fishing colony with no avail. I was extremely dissapointed. Hopefully They open this up soon.

Id think the average would be much higher I think not. If the cannon hit no 0's, that would mean the average hit is 15 since it can hit anywhere from 1-30. But the truth is, the cannon hits 0s, and depending on what monster you fight you might hit more 0s than actual numbers. I think 10 is a very reasonable average. As for the topic, I'd have to say it would atleast get you to 80 slayer, but I don't think it will be enough for 85. Quite honestly I think it would be a waste of money since you would have to spend a loooong at the abyssal demons to make all that money back.

If you are in the legends guild, you can use the iron spot south of the guild (5-6 rocks) and bank in the guild. It was always pretty empty when I used to mine there.

Due to the faster rate at which you can cut willows, it is much faster to train fletching with willows. Don't even bother with maples.

Don't even bother stringing them. Just make unstrung willow longbows and sell them to the store. Willow logs cost 30-50 each while bowstrings cost 150-200 each. You are better off just buying double the amount of logs so you can just fletch x all the way to 70 and not have to strain your wrists adding all those bowstrings. Stringing them will make it cost 4x as much anyways due to the high bowstring prices.

never owned a PSP. I have a friend who does, i'll see if i can play runescape on a PSP during class sometime. can psp's get wireless internet? lol Yes, psp can go online wirelessly. Only problem is with the 222Mhz processor and the 4MB of DRAM, I don't think RS would run very well :?

According to the Tip.it guide, it is always strength and defence I don't remember it ever being based on your attack style, where did you hear/read this?

If you haven't started the quest that would have to be the problem. Just start the quest and try again.

^That I can definately agree with. I played PC when it first came out and Spinners are MUCH more common now. There is a group called Heart Returns as well, but they are based purely in IRC and are not as well known. Not to mention you have to be combat level 105+ to join so less lower levels know about them. As someone stated before, the yellow is extremely weak. I have always had trouble hitting the purple and blue portals while the yellow and pink have always been much easier to take down. I am guessing the portals have different weaknesses to different combat styles (melee, range, mage).

My house only takes about 2 seconds to load. I stripped it down to just an altar, the 6 teleports, and a quest hall with glory amulet... The more rooms and more things you have built, the longer the load times are. So if you just want your house to be useful, and not look good, I suggest stripping it down and this wont be a con at all.

You say this now, but you may be very surprised with the results. Indeed. :-s I may even click on yes twice by accident if some tried this. #-o Well, one is in the main window, the other is in the chat box, so you can't "accidentally" click twice to "accidentally" teleport... And while you are probably right.. I don't think it will be as common as the mystic top/whip scam or as easily bypassed as the second trade screen.

Even if you have accept aid on, a second warning screen comes up after you accept the teleport saying something along the lines of "are you sure you want to teleport to DEEP WILDERNESS?" with a yes/no option. It will be hard for people to fall for this one.

Fast Snape Grass Collecting -If you teleport to waterbirth there are snape grass spawns right near the tele spot. You can collect a full inventory then teleport back to a bank, rinse & repeat. (there are 6 snape grass spawns so it is VERY fast). Well I don't know about tree/bush patches, but the fishing guild tele is right near the ardy herb patch, catherby tele is right near the catherby herb spot, and the other two are accessible via ectophial and glory amulet.
