A buddy of mine in RS got back from Iraq a few months ago.. He said the internet over there was so slow it was impossible to do much besides browse the web, how is it working out for you? Laggy at all? Anyway, stay safe! How long have you been over there?

Wasn't really sure how to answer this, since I don't play every day.. but I use my house every day I do log in to play, so I picked every day :thumbsup:

I had one task of 229 abyssal demons and got three rings. Haven't had another task in the dungeon yet to test my luck more, but three is plenty for now!

This is pretty normal now, as others have said. I noticed it a month or two ago as well, didn't keep track of it so I don't know if it has been consistent up to now. I was going to buy 99 cooking since it would be pretty much free but it turned out I still burned more than it was worth at 91 cooking, not to mention it is extremely boring :P Good to know it is still possible though.

5 minute log-out timer is probably one of my favorite non-content updates since 2006. All of the big important game-content updates seem to have been pretty much covered by previous posts.

I agree that the quest felt a bit short, but I am also not complaining! It seems it is only shorter (and most of the new quests I have noticed this) because Jagex didn't add in all that senseless running back and forth that most older quests require. Think about it.. an older quest would have had you do the barrows run, then be forced to go back and turn in that piece, then get the second part to go to the fortress.. but in this quest he assigns both at the same time and you can choose which order to do them without reporting back first. Also, all of the items you need are readily available during the quest, and the quest NPC(s) even teleport you to the next part sometimes.

Have you tried connecting to another router? It is very possible that your specific card has problems with that specific router, I have run into that problem plenty of times. Bring your notebook to an internet cafe or coffee shop with free WiFi and see if it works. You have covered just about every possible issue in your first post. Exchanging it sounds like the best option at this point.

You will need to run them through some sort of amp or receiver that has auxiliary or RCA jacks (so you can plug the computer into it) and regular speaker wire feeds to plug the speaker wires into. Pretty much every modern home stereo receiver has this capability.. but a new receiver will be pretty expensive. If the Radio that your speakers are plugged into now has an Auxiliary jack (looks like a headphone jack but receives sound to play on the speakers instead of transmitting sound to headphones) you could use that and just use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable.

I logged in and played for a little while, but starting with 0gp and no items is so very frustrating! I just got a bronze pickaxe, mined some iron and coal and smithed myself some full steel :thumbsup: Then got bored and logged out.. Maybe I will try playing again once things get settled down.

That will still be necessary because you could be on a different computer when getting the bug, or have new drivers/software installed. Sent my specs in.

Wait.. You said you do 17 chests in a little over 2 hours, that would be about 8 chests per hour. Then you said you get an average of 29k loot from the chest, 19k of it being profit.. And that you get 338k /hr, but I think you meant 338k every ~2hrs because 8 chests per hour multiplied by 19k average profit per chest is 152k/hr. I might have missed something... And either way I think your 1 item ever 15 chests is pretty lucky, I am on a 60+ dry streak atm.

It could be the graphics card. The flashing on your screen could have just been the monitor telling you there was no signal from the graphics card. Do you have another desktop or laptop you can test the monitors on?

Same thing happened to me. Try to time your attacks so that they don't hit the same time or right before zaniks, because if zanik hits right as the convo pops up it closes it. It took me about 5 tries.. Also try reporting it to jagex, definitely a bug.

Armadyl lowers your crush accuracy, I would not recommended it at all. Karil's is the best.

I gained a prayer level and a combat level, but it only displayed my prayer level up.. I would think combat would be a big one.. Unless it is only certain combat levels like 80, 90, 100 etc.

I don't think it does, I did the math myself.

I've got just under 200 days played. Less than I thought! I average about 31k/hr total xp.

I don't have any RSC pics as they are on an old long-lost PC :P But I have a few early RS2 pics of me 99 Fletch, before Fletch X (notice my 1 bow 1 string on the bottom of my inventory, for fastest fletching xp) Im surprised I didn't end up with carpal tunnel syndrome after all that clicking o_O Pic is from Aug 26, 2004, fletch x came out sept 27 2004, that upset me a bit :P . I don't remember the exact number as I can't find the screenshot (if I even took one..) but I was rank 40 something to 99 fletch, or when fletch x was released, can't remember. I am the one with the dmed, dragon sq, and ranger boots. We had pretty similar stats elucin8er! This is from August 16, 2005, almost a full year after I got 99 fletch, and still under 200 rank..Today im rank 4000 something =\

You have to remember though, you only need Ardy Cloak 1 for monastary teleport.. you can't really compare that to needing Karamja 3 for shilo. Same with kyatt, 50ish summoning vs needing a highest skill of what, 16 thieving to finish ardy easy tasks? I never read his post, I was just pointing out a few things. 4 coal rocks isn't much, yes, but there is plenty of iron. Tbh I think its fine the way it is too, I was just pointing out how it wouldn't be that unreasonable if jagex were to change it. That and I dislike when updates make other areas somewhat pointless to train in. Cloak 1 is so easy to obtain, why mine iron anywhere else?

I got the range formula from tip.its item database, so I guess that could be wrong. Edit: ok, so rs wiki says +4, so it does round down. Still, the whole point of my post to begin with was to show 3hits % was off for extreme range (which then still holds true), and someone said i was wrong because it always rounds up, (which isn't true) lol.

A 10 minute delay seems reasonable, since it is a bit unfair that something you obtain for easily and for free teleports you directly to a mining spot with a surplus of both coal and iron. Makes areas like the mining guild obsolete. A 10 minute delay wouldn't make a difference for recharging prayer after, say, a slayer task for example.. Or teleporting to check on your farming patch. Even an 30min to an hour would be fine.

What did you extract these %'s from? If extreme range was 22.3%, then that would = 121.077 at level 99, which would round to 121, not 122. RuneScape rounds up. I could have sworn (haven't checked in a while tbh) that RS followed the same rules of mathematics and round down anything under .5, could be wrong though. Both RS1 and RS2 always round down. Ok so.. If you say it always rounds down, then your original figures are wrong. Well the ranging figure at least. Also, it doesn't always round down, because I am 96 range and I get boosted to 109 with a regular range potion. A regular range potion is 10% + 3, so 96 * 1.1 = 105.6. Add 3 to that and you get 108.6. I get 109 when using the potion, that means it is rounded up. Anyway, I think I veered us off topic enough, this post is supposed to be used to get an exact figure. Unfortunately since the potions aren't trade-able this info isn't going to be easily obtained. :???:

I got one, don't care for it much however. I do wish the full body avatars were a bit bigger though, I wonder why jagex made them so small.

Not saying its real or fake, but I want to point a few possible explanations of these, if it were real. 1. Don't think that is a very good reason, there's always the chance someone at the RS HQ could be a bit mischievous. 2. A leak could happen at any time... 3. This is a good point, but then again they are separate lists, and it sort of makes sense for your personal list to give a few more details, but again.. it does seem to drop to legitimacy. 4. True again, but not inconsistent with the same titles, or same bodies. Could just be early coding mistakes? 5. As I pointed out before, those are the same icons as the hiscores, so it makes sense to use those. Also, the icons need to be small, and the ones in-game are too detailed to be re-sized like that without being messed up. 6. Fonts are fonts, no reason they can't change it up every now and then. And as for the "a Abyssal Demon" instead of "an," It could be because the "I killed a" is a generic response and the monster name is the only changing variable in the sentence. So it will always be "I killed a 'X'" I am leaning more towards fake at this point, but I really want something like this!
