Astral tabs solve the need for that I think, and they arent paticularly hard to get either.

NPC contact works best I feel, so I would switch to lunars as it saves time traveling to and from Shilo. If that is not an option for you, you will have to get Karamja Gloves 3 which provide the closest teleport to Duradel.

My question to you is, why does it matter to you what they do with their life? Many of us spend 100s of hours doing stuff we hate, at least this guy enjoys himself while playing this game. Just because you spend your life doing something else does not make you better than him. The truth is, in the grand scheme of things, your life is just as utterly insignificant and worthless as is his. This si going waaaaay of topic, but do you mind if i use those sentences (modded slightly) in my philosofy test? It was both direct and though enducing. Lol sure go ahead. I do regret being so harsh though, flaming others is not something I have a habit of doing.

What I find interesting about this is that Larryr went for her experience using Collectors and Runners, ofcourse, it's still a fantastic achievement and requires massive determination, but Odin is the first to get his experience all through Runecrafting himself, without runners etc. (As far as I'm aware, although someone may want to clarify if they know.) It is definitely true that Larryr did use runners for most of his experience, he was the leader of the law runecrafting company for a while as well. I would like to congratulate Phoenix Odin as well, I have followed his progress for a long time and I am very happy that someone will finally touch that 200m mark in runecrafting. As far as the argument about who is the top crafter, is it the person who did most of his xp at ZMI or the person who used runners? I say just go with the numbers 200m>157m.

A few achievements

I am guessing that is older picture and he is leveled after achieving those skills. -
65-85 Mining = ?
The_Fray replied to unjustblood's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
I remember I used to mine way back in the day, at that time mining was my highest skill at 71. Since then I have not touched mining because it is a very difficult skill to train once the experience required gets really high. Banking all the ores requires serious dedication and you have it. 9/10, I hope we will see a 99 mining thread from you in the future. -
1. What is your most prized possession that you currently own (or owned at some point)? Untrimmed Runecrafting Cape. I really would like to keep it untrimmed forever, because i just think it looks much better without the trim. Unfortunately though, my meelee stats are starting to get closer to 99. So the cape wont stay untrimmed for too long. 2. What is your most favorite item in the game (because it's useful, cool looking, useless, fun, etc.)? Saradomin Godsword, if there is one item in my bank that I cannot live without this would likely be it. 3. If you could have any item in the game (that you currently do not own or have never owned in your RS career), what would it be? Scythe, it is quite possibly the most unique item in the game. No other item even comes close to matching its rarity and status. Almost all items in the game have some duplicates, in the case of the scythe it is irreplaceable.

It's nice to see that someone here at tif manages to singlehandedly maintain the stereotype of the pure.

Good luck I hope you get it because I had 2 tasks of them and got none in both. It was very frustrating, anyway like it was said before watch out for the special attack when you have to take a drink.

Guthans still remains just as useful a strategy as it used to. Many people continue to use it as the healing effect is still very useful during the caves.

I was about to make a suggestion but I am not sure what you do in game, do you boss hunt, slayer, minigames or pvp?

If you have a few super antifire potions lying around, these are the perfect monster to use them on. Whip and Defender really speeds up kills and you wont need food at all.

It's a good idea, I did not even know we had a play list. Will check it out soon though, but I imagine the 12 songs limit must be somewhat frustrating. I think a limit of around 50 songs would be great as well, but your idea works too. To the people who dislike Runescape Music, I would suggest that you do not bother posting in a thread based on it. I personally started enjoying the music because as a noob I did not know how to turn the music off, which meant I was forced to listen to the game songs. Some of that music brings backs memories and I like the feeling of familiarity that it brings. It really gives me the sense of playing the game. They arent songs that I would store in my Ipod but they are certainly worth listening to once in a while.

I kill baby blacks as well, the people there are usually killing greens and the blacks just tend to get in the way. Remember to take a terrorbird (cheap BOB) and kill some greens while you are there, leave the hides and pick up all the bones. I find that I dont need food but I have a SGS, just take a few monks (if you dont have a SGS/EE) and you can finish the task quickly.

Try actually attaining the level with the crazy herblore prices at the moment and then tell me it is easy.

The solution is very simple, if you do not like blogs then dont bother clicking on the links to them. I enjoy most blogs even though I doubt I will ever make my own.

That was the way the cannon was, hardly a bug if it always worked this way. Sure the way the cannon works is more logical now, but it has lost some of its usefulness. Pretty sure you don't get to decide what is a bug and what isn't, seeing as how you don't work for Jagex and I'm pretty sure that makes their opinion on what is an intended mechanic a lot more credible than your own. Of course, I was merely expressing my opinion and not stating it as a fact. There is no need to jump down my throat about it. This was always the way the cannon worked, and hence why many of us thought it wasnt a bug. Regardless of it was a bug or not, the cannon is now less useful than it was before and I am sure not everyone is happy about this change.

Hai! I am hoping the chance to get double runes is actually high enough to make it worthwhile to switch. I think the age of nats is now over, people will move on to laws now, if it is worthwhile of course. I wonder if this will affect assisting now, does anyone know if you get the chance of getting double runes while runecrafting using the assist system.

Thanks for the replies thus far from everyone. I will consider what has been said about wyerns and may give them a try but if they turn out to be too painful then they will be back on my list. Steels will stay on for now as I will try and see if the increased accuracy (Zamorakian Spear) makes a big difference on irons and if it does then I will consider pulling off steels as well. Regardless I think I can safely say that with the new resources now made available, having 4 blocks is no longer desirable.
-
How about steels though, I see people unblocking irons but not steels. Are steels still too slow to unblock?

I find it odd that at 85,85, 80 I potted to do a wyvern for fally diary and I killed it no problems at all, I didn't even have to use a whole pot to do it. NB: I say pot but i cant rember if its a pot a pie or a beer tht boosts slayer, either way u get the idea. Killing one wyvern is nothing like killing 70. While slaying, you want (or should want) to go as fast as possible. Wyverns are an annoying task that take a fairly long time with little return. Assuming that you don't get a visage, that is. I'd say wyverns become a piece of cake once you can use soul split, turmoil, and a yak. Otherwise, they're quite annoying. That is my point however. I killed it easily AND quickly; ergo they are NOT that slow. And I'd hardly call a guaranteed 12k return per kill "little return" that's more gp per drop than any other monster really, even when averaged out over a task; wyverns are only slow when you don't know what you're doing. Also not being able to use a defender = stupid reason to block a task You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Wyverns can freeze you. Sometimes it doesn't happen during a kill. Sometimes it happens every single time you become unfrozen. Usually, it's somewhere in between. A single wyvern is not conclusive evidence that wyverns are easy to kill. I once killed Graardor in ten seconds by myself. Does that mean I should be able to kill him in ten seconds every single time? Absolutely not. FYI, wyverns bones are no where near 12k each. Wyverns aren't necessarily slow, but they're slower than most other tasks, which makes them eligible for the block list. EDIT: If not being able to use a defender makes a task significantly slower than most other tasks, you might consider blocking it. That is what I generally feel with most tasks, I will admit I dont have much experience with wyerns though. I did a task of wyerns last time and I found them significantly slower than most tasks Duradel/Kuradal assigns.
