So how many times have you quit the game? I personally thought about quitting for months before finally making the decision and I quit for nearly a year before returning back to the game. Many of us have quit the game only to return. :wink: So my question is how many times did you quit the game, and what brought you back? If you have never quit the game, have you ever seriously thought about it?

Although I rarely crash, there are places where I need to or I would not find an empty world. This is mainly at Bandos or anything that is really crowded where you have to compete for a spot and fend off other crashers while attempting to keep your own world.

So we are scum because we choose to use an advantage that Jagex provided us, not to mention the money that we shell out to actually buy this advantage?

Many thanks for the kill rates, anybody have the claw drop rate? It must be mentioned somewhere in the thread but I am a little lazy to go through the posts. Just getting a little frustrated since I have killed around 200 thus far without a drop and I heard the drop rate is good.

It's not showing ALL my skills coreectly. If your skills are unranked then it will not show them correctly as it collects data from the Runescape Highscores, which only display the top 2million people in each skill along with a minimum requirement for level 30 for each skill.

Point is I have money to blow on Bandos and I also own a set of Barrows (Verac's Skirt, Dharok's Platebody) which gives me all the best options I need. Dragon Platebody is in the middle of these two as it has worse defensive bonuses than Barrows and does not contain a strength bonus like Bandos. Hence Dragon Platebody is useless to me, I have everything I need in the other two sets.

Bandos is definitely better, if I wanted defensive bonuses I would use barrows.

I agree completely with this, I really do not understand why BOBs do not contain this ability but a lot of the untradable items are not able to be stored in a BOB and I feel this should be changed.

Highly unlikely that the partyhat would even sell for minimum, it will most likely go to someone paying medium/max price.

I have had 7 tasks of strykewyrms and have had none of the big drops plus the monsters are annoying when they burrow downward and hit you for a 30 when you are lagging or not paying attention. Be careful what you wish for.

I was failing using brews and restores so I switched to rock tails and prayer pots and managed to beat him. I was meeleeing him with SGS though, I had no rock tails left and about 40 hp left at the end. I had soul split though, so I suppose it could work. It will still be harder to manage that brews as you will have less healing.

Watch out for the elemental fight, I almost died on that one because I couldnt switch prayers properly and let my health get too low in the process.

I hated the hally over there, it didnt hit enough to justify using it. And I would rather speed up kills rather than using less unicorn scrolls. And yes scrolls will keep up unless you are awful at switching. Scrolls arent very expensive either, so imo SGS >>>> Hally. Can someone give me their average kills/hour using the spot described in this guide? I simply wish to compare if I am going at a decent rate.

Kuradal's dungeon, the ferocious ring's boost outperforms a combat familiar especially since you should be able to 2-3 hit them.

Same here, after you use up your tort, hide behind a pillar and summon the highest summoning familiar you can. My titan did most of the damage when he starts meeleeing, after every 3-4 attacks i stepped behind a pillar and let the titan get a few shots in.

The main use of talismans is during summoning and since the bonus experience weekend was announced, talismans such as fire, water, air and earth all sky rocketed. Now that the weekend is over, there is bound to be a huge crash. Talismans are junk so try to get rid of all your tallies before they crash further.

We all start somewhere. I did my first quest on the release date (and therefore before there was any quest guides) of "a soul's bane" and I loved it. I hope that this motivates for doing harder quests without guides as well. In my opinion, quests are really boring with guides, yet they are the most fun part of runescape without them. :) I agree with you but I hate doing quests on my own, it gets very frustrating. When I am doing it with 10s and 100s of players on release date, it is great because I know they are going through the same thing I am doing.

There are times when I wonder if I made the right decision in going for prayer, turmoil is easily replaced by piety. Piety simply drains slightly faster, soul split is nice but I hardly use it. I turmoil almost all tasks these days but I wonder if I had overload and piety I would be better off. I know I am rambling, but now that I have turmoil, I really wish I had overloads.
