  1. I can very much relate to the first article except I stop subscribing about a year back and I expected to join back in the summer but saw no reason to. The recent updates that Jagex have come out with have provided me with a good enough to reason to never open my wallet for this game again.
  2. Looks like after Suomi takes over the top spot, he will likely keep it permanently. Kind of strange to know that there wont be a different no. 1 after Suomi.
  3. Are you saying he's going to use these on the weekend? If so...no. really ? i was SERIOUSLY thinking he had them to bad... I'm not saying he doesn't have them, I'm just saying they don't get bonuses on bxpw. Your sarcasm detector is broken mate :P
  4. Can I ask how much xp worth of charms?
  5. I completely agree, I honestly admire her as she seems less concerned with xp and more with enjoying the game.
  6. Add up all the tokens required for all rewards and multiple by 10 for the xp. I am too lazy to look it up so you will have to do so. After getting all the rewards you can use the tokens to buy experience.
  7. I couldn't believe it when Wade was found dead and I am absolutely speechless at this latest incident. This is probably the worst summer in hockey history. I am so sad about the events that have occurred so far. So many of these guys I have grew up watching. I am honestly just waiting for the season top start so we can put this bad news behind us because it seems that lately there is nothing to discuss in hockey except the deaths that have occurred thus far.
  8. A year? People will be speculating on the 2nd day itself. Someone will even write a eulogy.
  9. I can understand the frustration involved in this, I have been through it before but believe me soon you will have a blast trying to evade these wannabe pkers. Plus I agree with the guy saying that they are wimps, often they come to kill you because they are unable to kill anyone else. When you gear up and go after them, they high-tail it out of there. I think it has probably become a little difficult to run away because of craziness of the newer spec weapons but just make sure to carry a one click tele at all times.
  10. I agree with you about dragonseance, but we cannot underestimate the difficult of "fast skills". These skills are only deemed fast because they require money, Suomi may have to spend some time making money. And this gives others with money the opportunity to catch up. If I were Suomi though I would finish up on all possible non-buyables. I think the closer he is to his goal, the more likely are people to donate.
  11. I can understand what the OP is going through, dicing clans have made a ton of money exploiting the idiots that play their game. The OP wants the same opportunity to make money by taking it from the fools willing to throw away their money. Yet these dicing clans are using unfair means to keep others off their "territory". I agree with the OP on this, everybody should have a fair opportunity to host these games. I don't quite get why people are calling dicing scamming. Jagex has not banned dicing and probably does not plan on doing so. I can't really say I am really against these dicing clans anyway. The morons that are getting cleaned by these dicing clans deserve to lose their money.
  12. I think this is an issue, I remember another poster complaining about it before as well. If there are Player Mods abusing their power in order to gain an advantage in the game, then they need to be dealt with. I still don't even get why people dice, a chance to get scammed and lower odds than someone hosting the game. Why would anyone possibly want to do that?
  13. Runecrafting is no longer a good money maker anymore, nats are a pitiful 132gp ea. And its not just natures, all other runes have also crashed hard. It is a shame to see one of the few good skilling money maker go down the drain like this. Unless you want to train the skill, do not bother with runecrafting anymore.
  14. Plan on going past 99? Good luck either way and congrats.
  15. I cannot believe so many of you guys dislike the Myreque storyline, I feel that it is one of Jagex's best outputs. The mood, atmosphere and the setting really enhance what I feel is a great storyline. If you get into the storyline and not attempt to rush through the quest, it becomes far more enjoyable. Overall it is a very good questline, and I may consider renewing my subscription just to get access to it.
  16. Actually he didn't play for ranks. He didn't care that he lost his rank to Elias. Get your facts straight kid. How is that a fact exactly? First of all neither you nor anyone on this thread truly knows whether he cares or not. Considering the whole back and forth battle for #1, where he kept switching from slayer and buyables (correct me if I am wrong) every time Elias came close tells me that he cares on some level. Actually I talk to both Telmo and Elias on a daily basis. I know why Telmo is quitting if he fully decides too. I know what he cared for. Telmo loved the competition also. It's not just all about he cared. If Telmo wanted too he could've done Crawlers also but he didn't care for it. Telmo has the money to keep up but he didn't care. Don't tell me I don't know my own friends that I talk too on a daily basis. My point was you don't truly know whether he cared or not, only what he told you. Hence you cannot tell the other person to get their facts straight because it is not a fact. It's just a phrase, he doesn't mean it's a definite fact; just a small joke. You might be right, I am out of touch with the current lingo. I doubt it was a joke though, I wouldn't have commented on it if it had been. I just take exception to people who jump straight to the flame route.
  17. When I was in high school I can say for sure that I was addicted. I used to play around 5-6 hours on average daily. But that was a different time, in high school I had all the time in the world to spend on runescape and I don't at all regret spending that much time on this game. I thoroughly enjoyed the game during those days and I wish I could play more currently but university (along with a tough major) really cuts down the amount of time I have to play this game. I would love to play like I used to in high school but I don't think I will ever have that kind of free time again. I do still log in now and again but it is only to do the activities that I truly enjoy. I have no intention of training my skills. So in short, I was addicted, would still have been addicted if he wasn't for real life priorities.

  19. For me it isn't the prices that bother me, it is the game play for myself and others being affected by said bots. I was a lot happier when the bots confined themselves to certain areas but now it seems as if they are everywhere. It was much easier to avoid them when they were at the essence mine, green dragons etc.
  20. I agree with you, the Postal Service employees get a decent enough wage with reasonable enough hours. They are paid well above the minimum wage for job that requires few skills and little to no education. No I do not agree with forcing them back to work, but Imo the Canadian government should hold strong and not set a poor precedence by folding to unionized government workers. I am sorry but $26/hour coming out of taxpayer money to support these government employees is a bit much, which I might at is more than double the minimum wage.
  21. Ok, this I can agree with. I'd be fine with them getting something like community service or whatever. They need to be held accountable. They knew fully well what they were doing. Agreed, I just think the reaction of "give them the same punishment the boys would get" was a little knee-jerk considering that those punishments can be very unjust. How bout give the boys the same punishment as the girls? This, just because a harsher precedence has been set before does not mean you have to make sure that every person should be held to that standard.
  22. But we did not win Game 7 and yet there were no burning cars in the next morning. I do not think this will happen in Toronto, most importantly the police in Toronto will be far better prepared for the possibilities than Vancouver was.
  23. Ok, this I can agree with. I'd be fine with them getting something like community service or whatever. They need to be held accountable. They knew fully well what they were doing. Hit them where it hurts, the wallet. They (as in their irresponsible parents) should be hit with a criminal fine and also a civil fine from the boys family. I guarantee those girls parents wll beat the hell out of them (like the boys mother wanted) and they wont do it again. [/thread]. Who needs jail when you have lawsuits Why should the parents be fined? I agree that the parents have a strong influence on a child's actions but most parents have little to no control over the children. These parents are not irresponsible, they are just bad parents.
  24. How do you figure? Leafs fans have never had a history with rioting. When we lost in the Conference Finals against LA in 93, there was no rioting. Sure there was the trashing of the Fraser family lawn but hardly anything close to a riot. If Leafs fans took part in rioting, we would have done it in 93 especially when we got screwed over by Kerry Fraser. Meanwhile in 94 when the Canucks lost in a Game 7, there was a riot. Do not assume just because it has happened in Van City or Montreal it will happen in Toronto. Also Ottawa, Edmonton and Calgary have all lost Stanley Cup Finals, yet we haven't heard of riots over there.
