The best way to reduce the grind is to make training methods more enjoyable and less of the 'wait and watch your character make X items'. It would have to be creative though, so Jagex have to get their thinking caps on. Imo they can leave the current xp rates intact, except for RC which hasn't been updated with a new training method since effigies. :rolleyes:

All 4 chats were 4 full at reset yesterday so they will probably be full today as well.

<_< Why insult someone because he doesn't have problems with dicing? I dice alot, always in the same cc and mostly to the same hosts. I've never been scammed. You know why? Because scamming my couple of millions would ruin their future investments. The more street credibility they get, the higher ranked they get; meaning they are allowed to host bigger bets, meaning their 10% of the won amount gets increased time over time. Don't flame people because you disagree... Because he said dicing is not scamming and then called it the same at armour trimming. The latter being an obvious scam.

Well the f2p game was decimated by bots up to the point where very few areas were bot free. All the mines were filled with bots, all the trees had bots, essence bots, rc bots, bots at many of the training locations. As bad the bots affected p2p, they hit f2p a lot harder. I am guessing the legit players decided to either become a member or end up quitting as the f2p game was unplayable.

Anyone can sue anyone over anything doesn't mean that they will win . Jagex probably wont have much of a case against individual players but its a threat that they can carry out. I can bet the average botter will probably be scared away.

If this holds out and its looking like it will, I will vote for Jagex at the Golden Joysticks for the next 5 years.

Wealth will also get spread around as lower levels will find a way to make money. The way the game is now, there were only a few viable moneymakers most of them being high level and requiring a good investment in skills like herblore, prayer and summoning. Sure a few people will complain about the rise in resources but they are just being selfish.

I think the important thing is if Jagex can keep coming up with updates like these to keep the bot makers on their toes or make it such that coding the bots will require an insane amount of time and effort. I am happy with this update based on purely hearsay, we will see what happens in the coming days.

Am I the only one that doesn't care about bans as long as these bots never work again?

BREAKING NEWS: Dragonseance has gone green!!! Just saw him at GE edgeville. :P I meant after the bot nuke when (if) bots don't work anymore. They can't bot so why ban someone who will just continue membership. Obviously not banning someone who can just bot again on another account wouldn't make sense. I was just talking about a mass ban on bot nuke day. I just don't see it happening. It is jagex though and they could always pull something like that. And I do hope they ban high ranked botted accounts lol. I could see that happening because it's relatively small scale. My post wasn't meant to be a reply to yours, I accidently thought this was the Bot discussion thread when I saw your post(fail on my part), so I was just speaking generally.

I have a question why would Jagex not want to ban member bots? If an account is found breaking the rules, the user is not entitled to a refund and bot owners will continue making accounts regardless of how many get banned. I see no incentive in not banning bots in member worlds. In fact I can argue if a member bot is banned then the gold farmers will try to replace it and end up paying more money to Jagex.

Yeah I am just going to try doing one task, if it is insanely crowded then no thanks to slaying.

Due to the bot nuking update on tuesday (please don't fail us, jagex) people have been buying up items that are produced by bots. I'd wait one or two days and buy them when they crash. Do you mean when they will be 5k each again? No way! :P I'm not that rich. But well I'm doomed. I should have bought them earlier. Now I can never afford 95. :( EDIT: I just bought them haha! 95 pray here i come. But no one really answered my question. What will 95 be like with a whip? Cause I've only seen people with rapiers. Well turmoil is well worth using even with a whip, if that is what you are asking. You will receive a significant boost so use it wherever possible.

League of Legends deserved it no doubt, but this is still hilarious.

The free to play world is always full and infested with bots as well. For 50/50, I hear the chat Gop Addict is pretty good. Not sure if it is gopaddict or Gop Addict, so try both of those. Good Luck.

Gemeos had this coming to him a long time ago. I misjudged Makavelli when I saw his posts initially, but I was wrong. And just because we hate your posts Gemeos does not make us fans of Suomi. But continue thinking that your posts were "helpful" and not a deliberate attempt to show off. And before you say it, I am not a Suomi fan and nor have I ever been a fan of a player in Runescape. I follow this thread simply to see the progress of some of the top players in Runescape. I would like to see someone complete the game and I do not care whether it be Suomi, Tezz, Green or just about anybody. This thread keeps me entertained and your posts are the only ones that spoil this thread for me, that and people like Makavelli having to constantly put you in your place (for which I don't blame them at all).

The teleports are nothing too special for RC, they are already available without much effort at GOP. So nothing game changing.
