I understand what it says but its just waffle. clutching at straws to try to explain. Then there's the fact that not every person believes that particular definition of the bible. A staggering 40% odd percent of Americans believe the earth is less than 6000 years old because it says so in the bible. And for those Christians that think that is ludicrous... why? I mean surely such an all powerful god could do that if he wanted right? And if it says it in the bible why cant it be true? (if you excuse the abundance of evidence to the contrary)

The problem is the Bible doesn't really clearly state much at all and its vastly down to interpretation what people believe. That's why there are so many different sects all believing in a different version of the same thing. How can a book written by a divine god be so flawed as to not have a clear meaning? How do people know which bits to read into, which bits to take literally and which bits of the bible are good or evil? Which bits of the bible do we take our morals from? If we are able to scan through the bible accepting morals such as "thou shalt not kill" (Exodus 20:13) and yet rejecting passages such as "Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof" (Genesis 19:8) where Lot actively offers his own daughters to be raped instead of his guest who was a male. Surely if we as humans are able to see certain parts of the bible as good and bad then morality is ingrained into human conscious and we've had it all along without the need for religion to tell us. If the only reason you don't go out murdering and raping is because the church says its bad and you don't want to go to hell then you are a very very sick person.

NTSC usually isnt a problem Daan because most DVD players can still play them even if they arnt region free. I have a couple of NTSC dvds that are region 0 and work on my other DVD player that isnt onlocked fine.

I think the current limits are more than adequate for all needs. I really hate it when a persons sig is larger than the post. Google for your make of DVD player. there's loads of sites offering instructions. All I hat to do was press a sequence of 7 buttons in a row and up popped a region setting screen and you just set the region to 0 which is region free.

Bumping a dead topic to the top without adding anything to it IS spam even if you don't write "bump" to get it there. Your blog will stay at the top provided you post updates. Imagine how it would be if everyone kept bumping their posts to the top without adding anything. It would be a mess.

You make a lot of claims yet the only source you ever quote is the bible. This makes it very hard for us to argue your points because theres no basis for them in the first place. Please provide links to science journals (anecdotal notes on a creationist site doesnt count) where "evolutionists" have backed creationism please.

My DVD player is region free too because I unlocked it. I have a couple of R1 DVDs but not many, you can usually get most things in the UK now that you can elsewhere. there's a couple of Aussie DVDs I want but its a [bleep] to import plus its a bit harsh on the environment to fly a package that weighs 100g across half the world.

The difference between teaching in the UK and teaching as a foreign language is that the kids actually respect the teachers and have at least a basic grasp of English language... I'm talking about the foreign kids btw.

No release date yet in the UK. Play and amazon show the 25th anniversary version as coming soon. But I think its only the regular DVD set and not in the case with all the cool bumpf :(

I hadnt seen spider pig before the movie so I was totally not expecting it lol. I was crying it was so funny. Loved the orchestal version of the song at the end too lol.

*puts up hand* Here, Mr Roberts Sir. I was wondering where you'd gotten up to lol. I got a couple of other friends doing it atm (one in china the other in nepal) but they don't plan on doing it full time. Sounds like a pretty unique experience though. :D

I didn't watch the credits, what did she say? [Or mutter for that matter] She said "sequel?" but its not her first word as she already spoke in the TV series once. I thought it was great, It was hyped up so I was prepared for a disappointment but I wasn't. Great stuff :D Spider-pig :D
