  1. For gaming probably XP. Most stuff will work with vista but there is probably some older stuff not patched up yet.
  2. Its almost impossible to tell by the thumbnails. click to make them bigger.
  3. 10/10. Its good to see and useful for most people but some of the more well versed phishers use much better tricks to scam you than shown in that example. Most of the reasons they give for "proving" that a web page is a fake is bad spelling which isn't a very good identifier, its not like criminals find it impossible to spell correctly.
  4. There's a few other somerset and west wiltshire peeps here ;)
  5. lol Baron, how many times you seen them this year so far? :D I only seen them once so far, would have seen them at Glasto but they pulled out at the last minute. I might pop along to the Civic Hall in Trowbridge and see them next month if I can get a lift to and from too.
  6. You sure? I thought the F3600 anti-gravity racing league was about as late at 2052?

Which has been reported today to be faked!!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6911748.stm
  8. Upload to flickr. convinently mention your username to a close few people. word will spread around etc. Then just drop mention that you recently took loads of pictures at your friends wedding recently.
  9. If you have access to the router just block the ports he's using.
  10. Sometimes I get spam sent from the past too so it appears midway in my emails. Almost read a couple of those too. The ones from the future are more obviously spam and more easily blocked.
  11. I thought there were Hare Krishnas living on the moon?
  12. Threatening someone with a knife is a criminal offence and you can go to jail for it. Let the police handle it.
  13. Googles algorithms are more efficient than Yahoo and Google is very good at removing link farms and spam from their results meaning that you get better results. Quality is better than quantity.
  14. [hide=Meh]*yawn* a happy ending, how original. Wouldn't suprise me if the movie and film companies had a word somewhere along the line.[/hide]

No you didn't make a valid point. You countered my argument with a straw man. That's not acceptable.

So because my opinion differs to yours, that makes me wrong?...

Its a parody. Parodies are legal by law. Its been happening for years. Newgrounds had the Assassin section on the site years before the portal even existed. Make a picture of me being shot I don't care. If the picture you use has been taken from a public source and the context of the image is in parody there's nothing I can do, nor would I even care. p.s please stop with the mass quote quoting of people, especially if you are only going to add "+1"
  18. Its clear that the person who created the quiz is a right winged bigot because I was classed as a liberal airhead.

As much as I hate these advertising companies, I hate 50 cent more. I hope he loses the case or its dropped for being frivolous.
  20. Insurance companies shaft everyone, sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and pay it out.
  21. Call the police, get a crime number then claim off insurance. With any luck your excess wont go up on your insurance if they see its not ure fault.
  22. DNS is usually updated every hour and its done by propagating to individual isps. There isnt a service that does it quicker than anywhere else.
  23. Some computers wont work without a battery even if it is plugged into the mains. Batteries last longer when you run them almost flat and then recharge but you cant really get around the natural drain caused by constantly charging as like i said before some laptops wont even work without one inside. Lastly, im disappointed at this thread I was hoping you'd accidentally spilled batter into your keyboard ans was asking for help :(

  25. Why do you want other people to answer when I have already provided one and secondly why do you only want yes/no answers? Is this your first time posting on a message board?
