  1. Thats my point. I didnt say it as my own opinion I was explaining that its a commonly held thing in this country. We have like a joking rivalry with them. They call us Rotis le Boeufs (Roast beef).
  2. Still waiting for you to post my insults...

I care about NOTHING until I have seen Transformers. lol
  4. Do I need to quote myself?... yes i think I do I insulted neither the Americans, British (of which I am) or French. Stop making straw man arguments and putting words into other peoples mouths... edit: can you please post the statements I made in full where i "insulted" the following countries: America United Kingdom France If you cannot do this then you shut up.
  5. Thats still only a quater of the population and only goes to show that your comments refer to large cities rather than where most people live in the country. You just busted your own argument.
  6. I never claimed to have that opinion myself and I certainly didndt generalise all americans as "jackasses". I was merely mentioning what I believe to be a fact that the saying was commonly used to refer to America in this country. "Love the country, hate the people" which is not just limited to America and can also be used in reference to France. I actually like America, and have been several times to New York, California, Nevada, Florida... I hope to go again perhaps next year. With the exception of some really rude southerners i met in Texas I dont think theres ever been an American i met in person that I didn't like. And whats with this "dont you ever post anything positive" attitude towards me?... Did you forget to read all of my post? Anyway... this is a topic about Britain. As for bbalking's posts. You cant honestly belive that Manchester is a good generalisation for Britain do you? Thats crazy, its basicly a London of the north. That's hardly a good example of British life.
  7. Somerset ftw. Manchester ftl
  8. There is no such thing as a British accent, we all speak different even only a few hundred miles apart.
  9. We are crap at most sports. Some we are good at, Badminton, Rowing, long distant running, boxing, Equestrian.
  10. 28 Days/Weeks Later music was pretty cool. I prefer original soundtracks to films that just use old music from a famous band.
  11. Mmm I always thought thats what people said about America/Americans. London is ok. Its a busling city with lots of things to do etc but I will always be fond of the west country. Somerset is the best place to live in the whole of the UK and the home of cider ^_^

My mum is always "popping out for 10 mins" and then not coming back for a couple of hours. don't worry about it. My dad went missing last night too at my uncles party. Turns out he was sleeping in the bushes passed out drunk. lol
  13. Did you look on the InvisionFree website?... I'm guessing no or you already would know the answer.
  14. Oooo cool! Erm any kind of idea how long this will be? Even roughly? Not even the developers know that and if you ask them they will just tell you "when its ready"

Do you have a legitimate source like from a medical journal or something. I dont trust a site that is telling that information as part of a marketing plan for their products.

Bugs, spiders insects etc. Rabbits and Pheasants while driving by accident Only thing i killed on purpose was a fish to eat I think that's about it.
  18. +1 cool points for you? You wouldn't know that till you prove God does not exist? You speak as if it was a fact. ~Defender~ How would I know then if praying was a contributing factor or not then? Is it possible to devise a test to see if for example praying helps patients or not? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4681771.stm I speak as if its factual that God does not exist because there is no evidence to the contrary. p.s What are "cool points"?
  19. Also. But everybody hates Michael Bay. :P Id put money on most people not even knowing who Michael Bay is Daan. lol
  20. Welcome to 1999
  21. A forum the size of tipit is hardly the best place as a test bed for beta software for the reasons already mentioned.
  22. I have never prayed in times of great need. Sometimes the outcome is good, others not so. God intervention has nothing to do with it.
  23. Elton John - Candle in the Wind 2nd best selling single EVER in the entire world with over 37 million sold. Not a fan of the song myself but you cant dispute those figures. It reached #1 in virtually every country it charted in.
  24. I don't think that's true Daan, I think most people hate the stupid romance subplot.
  25. Battlestar Galactica :D Even sad enough to Sysop on the Battlestar Wiki and admin of the Battlestar Forum :P
