I ask that you do not flame in this thread... I've put up with it for far too long, and will not take to it kindly. Personally, it's my belief that people only flame like that because they are young juveniles who throw tantrums when they lose an argument. But of course, that's my opinion.

I've gotten word from some friends of mine that there is a chance a J-Mod will turn up at the rally, if we can get enough people. They have taken notice in the rally, and will most likely be observing it to see how many people turns up. They don't think we will get enough people at the rally, and will just ignore us from then on. Make sure you show up, and prove them wrong. :wink:

Not even I would go this far.. :? Treasure trails and mini-games are the incentive for players to buy membership. Jagex isn't going to take that away.

The cost, memory required, and effort to do this update would be bare to minimum, as I have already stated. Last time I checked, most people don't become a member just for a little more bank slots. If I became a member, I would do it for the quests and minigames, as would most people.

I'd also like to remind everyone to ask their friends to be at the rally. The more people we can get, the better.

I did point out that the space costs them money; but when they give space to members they will get the money back from the subscription fee. Let's take a moment to think about how much memory this update would take, compared to the average graphical update. 12 new slots - This update would take a bare to minimum amount of memory. It would be a simple alteration of programming to do, and would require almost no cost to maintain. Average Graphical Update - This update would take much more time to do, as the graphics have to be planned, drawn out, and programmed. The memory required is much higher due to the high detail put into the movements and graphical looks. The cost would be small, but a fair bit higher than adding a few more slots. For one thing, they have to pay their employees that worked day and night on the graphics, and they also use that larger amount of memory (which does cost money in the end). A single game programmer in Jagex could alter the programming for the F2P Bank in a single day. Please read my first post.. I do believe it says not to post the same old "you don't pay, you don't deserve it" argument. After being said so much, it has turned into spam. We have adressed that argument many times before, and we are not going to waste our time or spam this thread just to answer it again for you.

We aren't really "rioting".. The whole purpose of the rally is to get the word out to Jagex that we need more bank space in F2P, and give them an example of how many supporters there are.

I like the idea. Such a tool bar would come in handy while maging.

The only reason that members oppose this idea, is because they are blind to the actual facts and figures of what this would take to do.. Barely nothing. The memory required for this is so incredibly small compared to even the smallest of graphical updates being done every month. They seem to stick with the whole "Dont pay, dont deserve" idea, but payment really has nothing to do with it. Adding 12 new slots to the F2P bank wouldn't cost nearly as much as they like to believe..

I'd have to say cooking has the least admirable cape, but the skill is still good to have 99 in. True, it's easy to get 99 cooking with a little patience and money, but it's worth it being able to cook things without fail. The cape is no rarity to see, and I have seen the emote done many times before. I personally believe the magic cape to be a rarity to see. Most people don't have the money to buy enough runes for 99 magic, or has the patience. I am always suprised to see someone with a 99 magic skill cape wandering about. Though it is rare, it isn't the most rare. Runecrafting would have to be the rarest, in my opinion. In all the time since the skill capes came out, I haven't seen a single person wearing a Runecrafting skill cape. Runecrafting is dull, but it does pay off in the end. You can make large quantities of runes, and the skill cape is a rare sight. To wear one would be a great achievement of all the patience you put into the skill.

I see this update as overall pointless. I really don't think there's much use in something like this. :?

I guess it would be nice if you could switch between them. I personally get annoyed when my character doubles back on himself then goes in a different direction, whenever I click a new spot. Why not make it so that the arrow keys move the guy, and the mouse moves the camera? You would still be able to switch between the two.
