  1. I appreciate you keeping us updated, but that might be considered spam. I'll be there shortly.
  2. Shade robes are fine. One more day!
  3. We held our first rally long before the PC riot. And no, this isn't a riot, this is a rally. Those two words have different definitions. And to Suge, the rallies will continue until Jagex responds.
  4. All of the fully developed macroers use rune axes.
  5. For those that mentioned that someone might have their private chat off, it wouldn't matter... Text from Pmods will appear in the chatbox no matter what. Personally, I see no problem with this being implemented, or its affect. The only real issues you'd be facing is the fact that Jagex are power hordes, and don't want to give pmods any more power in the game. That's the sad truth, which is expressed by the majority of the pmods. I'm sure alot of people are going to come in here and say "Oh, but they culd abuse their pwerz!@1". Yes, they could. And they could with just the muting privelages. The risks would be the same, but with more possitive effects.
  6. 2 days until the first of the weekly rallies!
  7. I personally don't see Runescape lasting that long... You must admit, the recent updates haven't been doing that well, and there's very little room for more story lined quests without making them sound completely idiotic.
  8. I don't really know about this... Phats and masks are discontinued items for a reason. They won't be continued. The owners of phats and masks would most certainly riot after such an update, because a ton of them probably bought those rares for anywhere between 20 - 300mil. Do you know how much money they would lose? No doubt many would even quit Runescape because of it. A majority of those will be suscribing members... :?
  9. 3 days until the first of the weekly rallies.
  10. Ray, I've already said that I know that... And I've already said twice now that I'm not trying to sell this idea as something that'll get rid of the bot problem. Baby steps... :XD: And as for the level being reduced to 0, that wouldn't go over very well.. There are no F2P methods of restoring the WC level, so you'd have a lot of pissed off F2P'ers on your hands. :
  11. Err, ookaay... There's no reason for it to get annoying.. The randoms would be just as random. Only if a play is stupid enough to let himself die would it get annoying.
  12. Rofl, I bet... They're a bunchy of slimy little devils, the lot of them. :XD: Ooh, I liked this one especially.. Major points: ~F2P doesn't deserve "luxeries" ~F2P are noobs ~F2P are scammers when they're not being noobs ~F2P shouldn't enjoy parties ~Only members should enjoy Runescape ~A message to Jagex: Why would you want F2P to have fun? RS is all about you making money, jeez... ~This is an animal.
  13. Lol, I'm going to use this example against everyone that comes in here saying "F2P shouldn't get anything!212!". Honestly... We didn't even ask for the party room, and yet they give it to us.. But what we do ask for, they don't give to us? Jagex is getting to be really lame, in my opinion...
  14. Rofl, Jagex actually gave F2P the partyroom... So they can't give us 12 bank slots, but they give us an entire P2P room? What a joke..
  15. What you witnessed was probably a gp farmer... There's no way to tell a macroer or a gp farmer for sure. Gp farmers do run from random events. Some macro programs do run from random events, but not all. For some reason, people come in here thinking that I'm trying to say this idea would solve the entire macroing problem... I'm not. -_- This is just one of those little steps that help with the problem that little bit more. Is it foolproof? No. Would it help to set back some macroers? Yes. 'Nough said.
  16. F2P wouldn't require all of the team capes. They could very well do with just the capes from NCP's that are in non-member areas. A wider selection of the skill capes would be a bonus for getting members, if Jagex is so worried that doing this will take suscribers away.
  17. For starters, this is in a suggestion forum, and this is a suggestion, so it's in the right place. And did I say that this would eliminate all bots? No... But it will help some, no matter how big or how small the amount. And if you were an honest player, that was paying attention to the screen rather than AFK'ing, you would NOT be affected by this. Would you honestly stick around to let your character die by a tree spirit? I somehow doubt it... So how exactly would this affect the real players out there? And I honestly have no clue what it is you were talking about in that second to last sentence of yours.. So you're saying there's a lot of level three bots with high wc'ing?... Yeah.. I think we know that. :|
  18. Even a simple colorclicker can be set up to run away from that random event and bots don't even accidentally stay there to fight it. The only ones who would suffer from that are the few ones with colorclickers+bad scripts or legit players. The true problem players (bots) won't suffer from that. I never said that the problem of macroers would be entirely eliminated. Unfortunately, I doubt that we'll ever be able to get rid of all the macroers. But this will help some, and be a step in the right direction. The actual idea doesn't kill them... :? Perhaps you didn't understand it?
  19. This is a joke. :| For starters, your idea has no details... You're just saying "Pmg, lets do thiz!11!". It's like someone saying "Oh, let's find a cure for cancer"... And then not do anything about it. Nobody's going to post that little fragment of an idea in the Runescape forums, and even if they did would they really give you credit? You didn't do anything... You didn't give any hints as to what the skill would actually do and how it would be done. Seriously, bud... You've got to do a better job than that. I see that you're new to TIF, but you should be able to tell by the suggestions you already see posted that you have to emphasize your points and ideas... I also reccomend that this thread be locked. There's no point in having it remain.. It's just an easy spam target.
  20. Jagex has already stated that they are not doing any updates for f2p becuase they just dont want to. They'd rather do updates for members, and besides, if you can't afford $5 a month, you shouldn't even have internet.. I know there are certain circumstances where some people just can't get it, but for most of you, seriously now, its ONLY $5 a month. Quit your WoW account and make 3 RS ones -.-' Plus, about half if not more, of f2per's are either bots or chinese people, so whats the point of updating it anyways? What's the point of eating food when you're going to die anyways? That's pretty much the same as what you just said. I wonder what would happen if your mom stopped paying for your membership? What would you say then? Edit: ROFL at Moonshadow. Nice one there. :XD:
  21. That's why he's posting it. I think it's pretty safe to say it is a bug.. I suggest you report it when you get the chance.
  22. No, macroers don't run away from randoms. GP farmers do, on the other hand. That's probably what you're seeing if you see a low leveled account run away from a tree spirit.
  23. I was curious about a most recent idea I came up with, as a slight improvement to random events that target macroers. Tell me what you think about it... As we all know, macroers are constantly killed by tree spirits when cutting wood. Sure, they die and drop some logs, but they just respawn and get right back to cutting. Why not make a time delay on when they can cut logs again, after death by an tree spirit? Now please, before you go all willy nilly about the idea, let me finish explaining... To lay it out simply, if a character is killed by an tree spirit, they get a message saying something like "A magical aura from the tree spirit surrounds your character, preventing you from cutting trees for the next ___ minutes." The time would start at maybe 45 minutes... Every time the character tries to cut a log, they get the same message but with the current time remaining. It's a simple enough idea, yet effective to some extent. It is certainly more effective than the current "Macroer dies, macroer respawns, macroer cuts again" situation. I'm sure that there are going to be a dozen people that storm in here saying "But 45 minutes is too long!11! What if we die?? That wuld get annoying!". Unless you are a macroer or AFK'er, you shouldn't be dieing because of a tree spirit. The moment you start being attacked, you should either A)fight back and kill the spirit, or B)run out of harms way, and return once it's safe. Only a macroer, which does not run away from random events, will be affected. Those 45 minutes of not being able to cut logs would cut down on the gain that that character makes for the user by quite a bit. Granted, it's not much compared to how much they get from the rest of the day of cutting, but it's a good start in the right direction of batttling macroers. Post your thoughts, but please, be reasonable with your arguments, and don't flame.
