  1. The Continental Army has been formed.
  2. My area's "Original United States" and "New England", just to avoid some confusion. Oh, and I'm still annexing Greenland.
  3. Archi told me I could do that with the "east of the Mississippi" thing. EDIT: Glad we got that annoying border thing settled. :)
  4. And that's final. If you want Quebec, Dusty, you can have it.
  5. I'm annexing the US east of the Mississippi along with Greenland, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.
  6. Eye-talian Alaska.
  7. The state or the Louisiana Purchase? :P
  8. The Commonwealth begins to annex the former US territory east of the Mississippi River, minus Florida. Britannia wants to restore the Grand Old Republic. The Americans will not be subject to the Lord Protector, but they will become a protectorate of the Commonwealth. Likewise, the Commonwealth starts the annexures of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Greenland.
  9. How? You've peacefully annexed 3 countries, so doesn't that halve it? I ended up with a 1.85 infra at the beginning of last decade (probably due to the annexures + massive infrastructure spending). During this decade (before it ends), I spent 60% of my AIG on helping Iran, which gave me a double infrastructure boost, so it added a 1.2 . My AIG should go up about 200-300 billion (not including infrastructure development) due to the annexation of Denmark the decade before, which was delayed until this next decade.
  10. Well, I'll have 3.05 infra and at least a 1.7 AIG. :)
  11. :twss:
  12. ZION!
  13. Other specs such as armor thickness, maneuverability, and firepower remain classified. This is an artist's rendition of the Thor I2038 tank that's being developed for the Grand Army. In other news.... We are making modernized versions of Big Bertha. <3:
  14. We are currently researching the following: -HUD optical implants (projects an image onto the retina). A prototype will be ready in 4 years, and the tech will be available to the military 3 years after the prototype is ready. [500 million a year for 7 years] -Flora bio-engineering in order for civilization-essential plants to be grown in the harsh polar environments of Svalbard and the Antarctic. [100 million a year for 12 years] -Carbon nanotube research [700 million a year for 5 years] -Alternative energy research [1 billion a year for 10 years] -Continue researching Falstad's Process -A new line of land vehicles for the military [300 million a year for 5 years] -Thor-class tank (new generation) [400 million a year for 8 years] -Cromwell-class frigate [200 million a year for 3 years] -Valkyrie-class dropship for Royal Marines [600 million a year for 12 years] -WATCHTOWER Advanced-Radar and Early Warning Network [800 million for 11 years] -Knight-class Humanoid Assault Vehicle [750 million a year for 15 years] That is all for now. The Commonwealth will put the rest of its money into the military. Summary for this decade: 60% AIG went to Iran in order to help it (for a 2X infrastructure boost for the Commonwealth). 40% AIG went into the military/research.
  15. Sneaky. :P They're a dependency of Spain. And he's attacking Western Sahara.
  16. Hex: You were kicked out of the game fair and square. It's not our fault that you neglected to post defense plans. You ignored it, so you paid the consequences. Likewise, we voted to ban you anyway. Either way, you're not part of this thread anymore. Of course, you could keep causing trouble on our thread until Archi (a mod) is forced to do something about it. You can get banned for spamming, y'know. In other news... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEqi0cs-Crw
  17. My school actually doesn't want us to bring "outside food" into the school. Are you in a private school? I attend a public high school. I'm pretty sure they can't force you to buy lunch there. What if you couldn't afford school lunch every day? And the "don't eat" excuse definitely isn't a viable option for your school. Well, that's exactly what they do. We can't bring bagged lunches or food from fast food restaurants. They don't want to compete with anyone, so they simply ban "outside" food.
  18. If they were, people would just tell the school to shove off and bring their own food, whether the school liked it or not... By the way, at my last school we were once served a chicken breast (which was the entire meal) that was still a little raw. That school was sued a lot, though.

In my early years of school, teachers thought that I had Asperger's because I wasn't as social and had the type of repetitive interests that fall under that category. I had such an awkward lack of social skills that my friends would have to whisper to me that I was staring at a wall (and I didn't notice until they told me). Anyway, I eventually picked up on social skills in high school. I'm a quiet person, but I still socialize. I just don't have much to say. I'm not an outgoing person, but whatever. I was never diagnosed with Asperger's because my psychologist (whom my parents took me to after my teachers mentioned that I might have it) said that it would do more damage to me than it would to help me if he diagnosed me with it, even though I fit some of the criteria. Anyway, it doesn't matter. I function well in society, so I don't give a rat's arse if I really do have some kind of social disorder. I'm not going to go get diagnosed with something (especially since I probably don't have Aspergers to begin with) that will prevent me from holding certain jobs in the future.... Jobs that I could easily do without any problems.
  20. ...It's included in the price. You can get a drink or a slushee with your meal except for the bottled drinks, which cost like 50 cents extra.
  21. Our cafeteria serves the following: -Chicken nuggets with fries -Croissant sandwiches (with a serving of fruit and a bag of chips) -Plate dinner (usually something like Salisbury steak with a serving of mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and a yeast roll) -Hamburger/hot dog/chicken sandwich/quesadilla rolls/pizza (random one of these each day) Drinks (which come with meals for a price of $2.25): -Tea -Tap water -Fruit juice (pineapple/cranberry/grape) -Slushee (served in a Styrofoam cup) Drinks that cost extra: -Bottled apple juice (and other types of fruit juice) -Bottled water Snacks: -Package of cookies -Poptarts -Chips -Fruit -Fruit Rollups -Ice cream bars/sandwiches We can also add chili or cheese (or a combination thereof) to our fries for 25 cents extra. Anyway, it depends on what we get. Personally, I just go with a croissant sandwich for my lunch (with a slushee or bottle of water). It seems like the most healthy option since it's just a small croissant sandwich with ham and cheese. I think they put it together themselves. The slushees aren't that healthy (considering that they are just flavored syrup mixed with ice), though.
  22. Clue scrolls were easy enough to obtain from HAM members before the update, so I doubt it will do anything significant.

  24. Decolonization sealed the West's fate anyway. Because of this, I could see how a European pseudo-empire would protect the West as a collective from a competitive Eastern bloc. I just don't like the idea of great countries such as France, Germany, and Britain being thrown into a single mix. Of course, that depends on the way that you look at it. (And we have gotten pretty off-topic.)
  25. Britannia sends its condolences to the USNA and pledges its commitment to protecting its neighbor across the Pond.
