  1. We have reached maximum expansion. The infrastructure of the entire empire is receiving a face-lift. Factories and public transportation networks are being built in rural areas, and the first settlers are starting to pour into these low-populated areas. Parliament has vowed that it will remain committed to the preservation of forests and national monuments and historical sites. Because of this, the government will strive to use green technology and efficient energy. Some have stated that this may be the start of the Third Industrial Revolution. Rumors of political corruption from the former Danish regime are heard throughout the Jutland Peninsula, and sympathizers to the Commonwealth are pouring into the ranks of the Colonial Militia. Fortunately, the Danish "revolution" was virtually bloodless. It is also rumored that some of the ex-members of the former Danish regime have fled to Greenland after escaping arrest. The Councils of Oslo and Copenhagen and the Commonwealth Parliament have passed a bill that officially recognizes the formation of the Grand Army. The size of the standing army is due to increase by about 40-100,000 members, and the reserves will also receive more recruits. Due to the volunteer nature of the Colonial Militia, the quotas are less stringent. However, a cap of 400,000 has been issued for the militia organization. A bronze sculpture of a Germanic shield wall is being developed by the patriot and sculptor Edmund Alm and will be located in Copenhagen. He is pursuing similar endeavors in London, Reykjavik and Oslo, except that the London statue will be that of Alfred the Great looking upon heaven and seeing the Archangel Michael and will be unveiled for the third anniversary King Alfred's Day celebrations.
  2. So being pulled over or confronted by a cop and asking you to prove your citizenship on the stop because of how you look is not racial profiling? Also your inability to not get a job is your own fault. Also how can you tell whose illegal or whose legal? He's being sarcastic.
  3. What freedom of speech? ;) ALL HAIL AMERICA Edited by the FBI, we have dispatched our agents.
  4. I honestly don't see how the naturalization process is unfair, especially since they apparently administer the tests in Spanish now. An immigrant who is moving to the United States should adopt our culture and our language if they want to live here anyway; it's just the right thing to do when you move to another country. Our culture is in shambles, so obviously people are going to be for these tight immigration laws. We want them to conform. Otherwise, they're a threat to what remains of the Anglo-American culture. The WASPs came out dominant on this continent, so English is obviously the language of the majority. It doesn't sense to make copies of everything in Spanish and place them underneath the English signs. The only good thing that it does is force people to learn a secondary language, but it also creates a lot of tension between Anglophones and non-Anglophones. Also, I have to agree with the poster above me. A national ID wouldn't help much, and it would just spark too much controversy over the associated costs and the fact that people will believe that it is an invasion of their privacy.
  5. You know that's sedition, right? I wonder how the FBI would react if they read your post. Hmm...
  6. If you ban the BNP as a party, then you throw freedom of speech out of the window. I'd much rather have a bigoted party that's nonviolent than destroy freedom of speech.
  7. All it took to spark World War I was some random Bosnian Serb in Sarajevo named Gavrilo Princip, who assassinated the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. ;)
  8. That's fine if you disagree with something I've said, but please, tell me what I'm not "that much better" about? Accepting? Tolerant? Racism? Xenophobia? I'm intolerant of intolerance, and I'm kind of intolerant with regard to religion (although I'd never support a law that took away the right to practice if you so choose, nor something that targets specific religious groups). Well, I have observed your posts for quite a while. You remind me a lot about myself during my more "radical years", two-three years ago. What angered me about the "Political Left" (and to be honest, the political spectrum isn't even that accurate) is the fact that many activists who subscribe to it are either too radical, too incompetent, naive or ignorant of key facts --- just like their adversaries. One such example comes from a debate that occurred a few weeks ago in which you argued that nationalism was racist, which is obviously not the case if you knew a thing or two about classical nationalism. From the context of the post, it seemed that you were lumping nationalism into the same category as the policy of Lebensraum (which is truly racist). If you understood nationalism in its historical context, you would understand that it's just about preserving one's identity and heritage. Most nationalists that I have met belong into the latter category. They don't hate other cultures, but they want to preserve their own ethnic heritage and argue that the main problem with multi-culturalism is that it blends cultures together and destroys thousands of years of heritage. We all have our faults, and we don't always get things right. However, I think that your posts have too much of an arrogant tone, which detracts from a potentially intellectual conversation.
  9. magekillr, I hate to say this, but you're really not that much better. This is why I backed off of the Political Left and started looking for my own beliefs rather than subscribing to something that claims to have a monopoly on intellectualism or something that denies science and promotes its greedy, corporatist agenda.
  10. Immigration is actually very beneficial for the US because it gives us a cheap labor force willing to do hard work for [cabbage]ty pay. That's nice. Now we're talking about outsourcing American jobs and using foreigners for cheap "slave" labor. God bless our corporations.
  11. It's about time, and I think that Obama should really [bleep] off; the state has the right to control their immigration problems. Oh, and this reminds me of the execution in Texas that happened not too long ago. Basically, the International Court of Justice was (and still is) trying to assert its authority over Texas, but the Texan government told them to bugger off. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7542794.stm
  12. I did laugh in a horribly cynical way when Cameron told a joke, and the camera switched to a couple of audience members in suits laughing their heads off, but when Brown was talking, the camera switched to an extended shot of someone in the audience yawning. They also seemed to take a good number of camera shots from behind Clegg when he was talking. But then, since a media commentator said that he looks hot, perhaps showing his [wagon] was a compliment? ;) Camera shots are subjective, but the most obvious bias was when Adam Boulton brought up a Telegraph headline just before Nick was about to speak. He didn't do that with any of the other leaders. There have been complaints about this: http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2010/apr/23/nick-clegg-ofcom-sky-debate Edit: Actually, I just saw some articles about a camera shot of Gordon Brown's notes. The papers make a big deal about how Gordon's jokes were prepared in advance, but honestly all leaders' jokes and slogans are. The big issue here is that this camera shot shouldn't have been made available - it didn't happen in the ITV debates. Sky has shown itself to be too unprofessional to be involved in these important occasions in future. It seems like the British media is terribly biased against Nick Griffin. I personally believe that he's not that great and that his views, especially concerning "indigenous British" statements are bullcrap (since the English are different from the Celts), but it is terribly unfair to just blatantly degrade him. At least give him a fair chance. Oh, and the public humiliation only serves to make his following stronger.
  13. BBC has been talking about that incident for like a month now. Silly American media. Anyway, I think that it was probably either a mine or a torpedo. However, it wouldn't be news to anyone if North Korea actually did it; they've had minor battles since the truce anyway...
  14. The English have taken an interest into their early history, and some old names that have since fallen out of usage are starting to make a comeback as families do research and name their children. This has sparked the so-called "Name Renaissance". http://www.gaminggeeks.org/Resources/KateMonk/England-Medieval/Saxon.htm Likewise, experts are expecting a population boom due to the colonization efforts.
  15. The Commonwealth is now annexing Denmark. Likewise, we are currently putting most of our money into infrastructure due to the recent annexures of Norway, Ireland, and Iceland.
  16. So you went to Gibraltar and commandeered a Britannian vessel? And moved foreign armed forces through French controlled north africa with intent to conquer? It seems like it would be far easier to just sail out of the Mediterranean (and we would grant you safe passage through Gibraltar since that wouldn't be a threat to our security anyway) and launch an amphibious invasion of the Ivory Coast area. If you were a soldier, wouldn't you rather travel on a transport ship, or would you rather march across a huge chunk of Africa in order to attack a country that was on the opposite end? That's not mentioning the fact that nations wouldn't like you just walking over them in order to attack their neighbors...
  17. Is Comedy Central seriously afraid of being suicide-bombed by Muslims? <_<
  18. The Commonwealth guarantees you that the Netherlands will remain within Luxembourg's sphere of influence. I see what you did, now. Sorry.
  19. [hide=map][/hide] For the first page. The Council of Oslo has decided on the following: -A new budget for the Commonwealth's industrial complex and its military. This includes various research projects. -A proposal for creating the Grand Army. -A plebiscite that will determine whether or not the Office of King is renewed and the Lord Protectorship is replaced. -Massive colonization programmes into Svalbard, Iceland, and the Falklands and other territories. -The creation of the Concert of Europe in which the European rulers will be able to easily communicate with each other. Now that the majority of Maximum Expansion has been achieved, steps will be made in order to made in order to stabilize the empire.
  20. The Council of Oslo is convening.
  21. So you went to Gibraltar and commandeered a Britannian vessel?
  22. And you're a Wannabe Viking. ;)
  23. No. However, I'm a direct descendant of English colonists in America (Virginia, I believe) on both sides of my family. So, I am ethnically English and have an affection for English history, hence the reason why I like to play as Britain or England or anything related (United States, etc.)
  24. Grim's annexing Germany. ;) Happy King Harold's Day, everyone! Our dear King, may God keep thee and bless thee, And may your adversary, William of Normandy, Rot in hell for-ever and ever. Amen. -Samuel Phillips, English patriot The Lord Protector has urged everyone to celebrate KHD in solemn remembrance while avoiding strong emotional resentment against the French. Both governments have moved on and have entered a new era of reconcile and friendship.
  25. Is it actually legal to smoke weed on 4/20? (United States) I didn't know Hitler was born on 4/20... I thought it was the 23rd.
