  1. This really is the safest way to handle a break in. For one, it's far easier to argue that you acted out of self-defense. Likewise, there are a lot of burglars who carry weapons, so it's impossible to tell if a person is armed or not when they break into your home. Since there are quite a few sociopaths, they may also just kill you for the hell of it, even if you give them what they want. What is the moral of the story? Kill that son of a [bleep].... Kill them before they kill you. Somebody who has just woken up and then tries to confront a robber like that is probably much less alert than the intruder and more likely to get hurt, I wouldn't consider that too safe. Either that or you accidentally kill a relative who you mistake for an intruder with you "shoot first ask questions later" approach. Unless you're taking a specific type of medication, you should be able to differentiate a person breaking through a window or busting down a door from a relative who is simply entering your home. Likewise, what are you going to do in a potential life or death situation when the robber is bold enough to confront you? Are you going to let them harm you or your family, or are you going to try to defend yourself? What do you do when there's no way that the law can help? Likewise, my scenario is from an American point of view. Since guns are legal in the US, there's a good possibility that any burglar might be armed with some sort of firearm. It's different in the United Kingdom because guns are illegal. It's different when the only thing that your assailant has is a machete or cricket bat. At night time it's harder to make out faces and when the adrenalin is pumping through your veins you make mistakes. Accidental family deaths in these situations are not uncommon. Also when you have just woken (as is often the case in these situations) your reactions and reflexes are not at their best and your eyes often aren't adjusted fully to what little light there is. Most robbers just want to rob and will try not confront a homeowner especially in the US with the availability of firearms. Also, my point was reflective of the likely American scenario hence why the homeowner is more likely toget hurt taking your course of action as the robber will likely be armed also. Obviously there are situations where you are forced to defend yourself by using a firearm (in USA) but what you are describing is not one of those situations, yours is a gung-[garden tool] 'go in firing and kill the robber' scenario which is quite frankly bonkers and increases the dangerous for the homeowner. Good point.
  2. Is Royal finally crashing to the point where we will be able to buy them over the GE soon? I know Infinity crashed recently, so I'm just wondering if merchants will give up Royal so us common folk can finally buy them at a reasonable price.

  5. It's a real movie. They just injected the TF2 models into it. It's called Law-Abiding Citizen.

  7. Because the justice system makes no sense, that's how. That kind of thing has happened before. Human Rights fail. I can understand there being laws so the person has a right to a fair trial, but it's a step too far when the person who tried to victimize you can sue you because he hurt himself when he was trying to break into your house in order to rape your daughter or steal your things.
  8. What happened other than the fact that we have to ban game ads?
  9. I see what you did there.
  10. It does seem kind of bogus that we aren't platinum considering that Zybez and Tip.it are the most convenient sites that I have used in order to access RuneScape guides. Anyway, it seems like it is kind of pointless. Once Jagex releases sneak peaks to a platinum site, couldn't people from the lower sites lurk and report what they see? <_<
  11. I have read in a local newspaper that Iran is building new facilities inside mountains in order to protect them from bombs. I have also heard that Israel plans to launch a pre-emptive campaign against Iran if Iran doesn't stop its program by the end of this year.
  12. I doubt that'll happen soon, unless Iran does something drastic. BTW, what do you mean by not worthy? Well, considering that we've waged an illegal war for a decade and already have financial problems due to the war, declaring war on Iran in order to help Israel is not worth the heartache. This isn't even to mention the fact that Israel forges fake passports in order to assassinate their enemies overseas. They're a bunch of crooked bastards (at least their government is). I guess I have to agree on the first part. As for the second, I think I know better. These things are not unique to Israel, I assure you USA, England, Germany, France, and frankly, almost any other first world country, doe the same things. Israel just got caught, and sophisticated policiticians can't afford not to frown upon it. The media also had a bit of a celebration over it too... I guess that it's unfair to demonize them over the passport issue, but it is definitely not worth a war due to the already-existing financial problems from Iraq/Afghanistan.

  14. I think that Israel will declare war on Iran, to be honest. I just hope that the United States doesn't help, especially since Israel isn't worthy enough for that.
  15. Talk about sleepwalking... I guess you walked into the living room with a water bottle and poured it over yourself during your dream. Strange.
  16. Did you start off in your bed?
  17. I wonder how the US would react if this was a socialist revolution...
  18. I like ma Japenese cart00ns.
  19. What ? [bleep] the power! ------------------------------- I like girls that are nice and somewhat attractive. Breasts are also nice, but I don't care if they're a little small. Boobs are boobs. I especially like nice shaped once, not the kind that fat girls have. Wide hips and a small butt is also pretty attractive as well. Above all, personality matters the most.
  20. Weren't furies artificially inflated through price manipulation schemes?

Your planet glows with the hatred of 10 million xenophobic Swiss. May the ever-abundant fury supply you with cheap energy.

Here is a map of the settlement area. The planet hasn't been completely colonized since it's insane to spread 10 million people across an entire planet, so there are vast amounts of uncharted land. This isn't a map of the entire planet.

I will pick one out, then. However, I might also design a map (in my free time) showing the different constituent areas of the Terran Federation. I'll try to base them around the size of the 13 American colonies. Here are some ideas for areas that I have so far: -Germania -Scotia -New England -Hibernia -Francia -Oceania -Orange -Columbia -Victoria Oh, and our moon is called Mani.

Do we get to design our own maps?
