  1. Okay, here's a report for the faucet prank. I convinced my mom that I was sick and used that as an excuse for her to get me a glass of water. While she was going into the kitchen, I walked into another room so she wouldn't see me laugh, which became increasingly more difficult as I heard her open the kitchen cabinet and withdraw a cup. A few seconds later, I heard the faucet turn on and the sound of her screaming with rage. She eventually started laughing, though.
  2. To be honest, we all should just play some sort of Civ-like game (so long as it lets us connect to a private Tip.it server and lets us customize some things).
  3. I just put a rubber band around the kitchen faucet and asked my father if he could go wash some dishes for me.
  4. This explains why our updates were sub-par! THEY! WERE! BUILDING!! A THEMEPARK!!!! I have $5000 in savings that I can spend on a flight to England and a trip to Wet N Wildy! I'm gonna just go ahead and spend it and rent a hotel room until it's released! Thank God they didn't play a prank on us today. God bless you, Gerhard!
  5. Holy crap! I forgot that I had Adobe Premiere on my computer! *facepalm* ...I've been using Movie Maker recently. It probably wouldn't hurt to learn how to use Premiere. (Sorry, I just noticed that I had it when looking at my screenshot. Does anyone know how to use Premiere?)
  6. I'm not sure if it's WinZip (assuming it is because I don't have WinRar), it looks a lot like accessing My Documents where you see the files in a grid. I don't have to extract the whole thing; I can just copy and paste documents to other folders as if the .zip was just a normal folder (although with a little zipper attached to it). [hide=.ZIP interface on my computer][/hide]
  7. KFC is an American company, yes. Now that I think about it, they're also struggling to survive in the United States; many branches have closed down. I have only seen a KFC franchise operating inside another franchise such as Taco Bell in the past few years, although there are some independent branches still operating. They probably just assume that if they cater to Muslims in pockets around England, they can get more customers. It's still ridiculous, though. They are doing quite well in the south, I can probably drive to 30 or 40 standalone KFC's in a 3 hour radius. YUM owns Taco Bell and KFC and those often team up in markets where competition is fierce to provide a better variety and reduce costs I know they tend to be doing better in the South, but many branches in Arkansas seem to have shut down. I notice more joint franchises than independent KFCs, to be honest. When I lived in Kansas about 7 years ago, KFC was pretty much dead in that area; the restaurants just closed down. The problem is the south is still mostly rural and usually a KFC competes with nothing, as soon as Zaxbys, bojangles or another chicken place crops up, i'd say the traffic drops, however not enough to close them out. I'm NOT a KFC fan so it wouldn't bother me if they did close Off-topic: Zaxby's is good, but a lot of their food is greasy.
  8. It's a little annoying to use all of the time except for archiving purposes, but if you're opening up regular .zip files, just use WinZip so it is a lot like simply accessing your documents folder (or any similar folder for that matter). WinRar has a very different interface, so it might be a little less easy to use just for simple things such as downloading an email attachment and moving a few pictures and other documents from it directly into your My Documents folder by copy/pasting them. WinRar is a good thing to have so long as it isn't your default (just use it for opening .rar files or creating them), but I deleted WinRar from my computer after getting pissed off at Halo.
  9. I should warn everyone that WinRar is a royal pain in the [wagon] to uninstall once you use it. Here's a tip: don't make it your default .zip extractor! Well, you can easily remove WinRar, but it is still annoying because it doesn't come with an uninstall option...You have to manually do it though add/remove programs (which has a different name in Windows Vista).
  10. Where's his birth certificate, son? Good question.... Where's your birth certificate?

  13. Riku, don't give Sarah Palin any ideas...
  14. With your permission I am sigging this Sure.
  15. We're not arguing, we're parlaying. Anyway, if we're playing something based on the real world, Ron Paul should be president of the United States.
  16. I think they should be called stargatesucks.
  17. Now they're trying to keep us from having sex. :( Goddamn socialists!
  18. To be honest, it's kind of weird to get off on a RS character. I could understand if the game had better graphics and more detail, but... Anyway, who took a pee on our names?
  19. What cultures were represented by this event? What we know so far... Elf = Anglo-Saxon Goblin = ? Man = ? The elf said that Easter was a period of renewal for them, which is a reference to the Anglo-Saxon pagan holiday. Likewise, the man celebrates Easter by eating a certain type of bread during their festivities. The goblin celebrates Easter with fireworks. Also, the man said that people also light bonfires to celebrate the holiday.
  20. I emailed someone from Flat Earth Society and requested a picture that someone took while standing on the edge of the Ice Wall, and here's what they sent me:
  21. I also heard that dwarfs lived under our feet and that the universe is actually a giant tree.
  22. Actually, a lot of our politicians are rather ignorant... They're either too full of themselves, or they like to twist things in order to serve their own agenda. In this video, John McCain argues that American isolationism allowed Hitler to gain power, so it effectively sparked World War II. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTR_iq-eBB8
  23. I could have sworn that the prayer guide used to say that the burners each gave a certain bonus, which is the reason why I made marble lighters for my gilded altar 2-3 years ago.
  24. Tip: Only use gilded altars with marble lighters. Otherwise, you don't get the full gilded altar experience. Good luck.
  25. Royals and hooks are crashing off their [wagon]. I saw some people selling their crown for 15m.
