I've heard rumours that Crystal bows have been given a slight speed boost. That they're now the speed of Daggers instead of Abyssal whips... Can anyone confirm this? My bow reverted on Saturday :cry:

How many actual, true rangers/mages are there though? Hardly any... By true I mean only have Ranging/mage + defence on a main account.

There are some really lazy people here... Have you seen how many rants have been made about your beloved protection prayers being too low? Hundreds. It will be changed to 55+ and I will be laughing as I pray my way to Zamorak flag in Castle wars 8-) :lol: 8-)

I managed to kill 2 in one trip witht hat set up :oops: I'm 110 combat with te Karils/fury set up. I'm taking more prayer pots this trip... All I got was 7 deaths and 105 fires #-o

By the way, Archer helms give negative melee attack stats. You don't want to be taking one of those...

That's downright deadly :ohnoes: This update is trash. Ranging was fun because it was so simple. Custimization is for mages. Ranging is simple. Fighting is exciting and unpredictable. now jagex, stop changing it. It should always be: Warriors: Unpredictable and costly, average Rangers: Predictable and cheap, simple Mages: Specialized and expensive, complex With the new updates like barrows gloves, defenders, and lunar magics... Warriors: Simple Rangers: Expensive, Specialized, complex, unpredictable, simple when used correctly Mages: Specialized, costly. It used to be where you targeted the warriors first, and mages were in cheap robes and rangers wore dainty outfits. Thanks to the new update, it is useless to kill a ranger. The only thing you get out of it is dragonhide, and MAYBE a crossbow worth 60k. Oh goodie, i just used a super set and 15 sharks for this. And if they protect the crossbow, you just wasted food for another set of dragonhide, because they don't drop ammo or gloves and usually not cape. Now everyone targets mages and warriors, because at least they drop their ammo and their robs are more expensive. This is such a lame update... And yes, I am complaining because I am not a ranger. I'm sure, if I were a ranger, that I would be dancing. But you know what? Its UNFAIR that mages got such a junk update like lunar magic that is useful for NOTHING but farming. Now we get rangers who drop nothing in the wildy and who just kill everyone at staking. And warriors, go you. Now you can kill mages with a simple dagger. Jagex officially ruined the wildy with this one... it was already ruined, but this sent it over the edge. Edgeville, I should say. How do you figure? How is Range complex? Gem stone bolts > Enchant them. Wow, I've got a head ache now :roll: Expensive? O noes, 8k for a retrievable bolt that can hit 50+ damage. Sucks eh? Lunar isn't junk... Not VERY single spell of this game has to be able to kill people in 3-hits and freeze them for 2 hours. You obviously haven't used it... Besides, you have a choice who you fight. If some ranger is risking jack all then run... How has it ruined the Wilderness too? The effects happen once evry 30 shots, what are the chances that you will get two in a row on someone? Practically nil. :roll: I guess we should just go back to RSC seen as RS in ruined thanks to better items?

Yes, but not from half the way across the screen with a 60k bow and a 5k bolt...
