  5. my mother makes me eat, but it never makes a difference i find... my stomach is growling around the same time whether or not i eat.
  6. "Life's like a car, if you always look at what's behind you, you're bound to crash" A quote I made for an english project... It means that you should focus on the future, not the past.
  7. I used to be super freaked out of being home alone like 2 years ago (i was 12), because during that time, in the past month, every single house on my street except 3 (including mine) had gotten broken into! i carried my pellet gun, the biggest knife in my drawer, and the phone (just in case i needed to hide and call 911). the worst thing about this was that i hadn't had my alarm system yet. but everything was alright. just act like your the man of the house, be loud, lights on everywhere, your good. robbers tend not to break into the houses with lights on, because they're not gunna think. oooh noice! people awake lets go see how them and their nice goodies are doing! i have been at a friends house when it got broken into once, that kinda scarred me for a little while. we heard the door creak open in the back and we ran out the front door as we saw a guy walking down the hall :anxious: . since then i just keep every single light on in my house, put the tv on, etc. sorry if this might have kinda freaked you out a bit #-o =P
  8. My grandfather was in WWII, he mainly fought in Canadian trenches. A short story he told me before he passed on was one I will never forget, because it's so hard to imagine what it would be like to be in his shoes at that very moment... My grandpa's platoon advancing towards a German bunker, and they had stopped for the day. My grandpa and his best friend were talking, and my grandpa's best friend said something that made him turn his head. Just as my grandpa turned his head a bullet whizzed by and hit his friend in the side of the head. That was the only story that my grandpa ever told me, because whenever he tried to tell me a story, he'd burst out into tears right in the middle of it. This sort of reminds me of a quote: In war, nobody wins. Unfortunately I can't remember who said it, but to me this quote means that even if you win the war, you have lost something, whether it be loved ones, comrades, etc. I am very grateful for everyone who fought in the war. They were very brave and loyal men, I can't even imagine going to a war that I knew I may not be coming back home from. Lest we forget.
  9. My friend said that was a horribley addicting game dispite all the carebearing.. *Reverting back to my old self* If you're going to get an online game, at least go for something based on PvP. Carebearing if for noobs ;) *and back to normal* deloria's right about it being addicting... my friend got the trial not too long ago and he's... changed... he no longer does anything other than WoW. I don't think he'll be able to handle it when his trial ends, i dont want to get in his way when it does thats for sure :ohnoes:
  10. i thought the games were good up til THUG2, however, in THUG I didn't like the car driving bit... but i just thought THUG2 absolutely killed it, and with these new games i feel they're just beating the series over the head repeatedly
  11. thanks i think i will make a list
  12. no all my teachers would punish me for late assignments by docking 5 marks at the most, which is a really minor punishment.
  13. lately i've been getting really nervous, and anxious for no reason, i don't understand why this is happening. sometimes i feel like im forgetting something for school (for example), but i go over everything thats due for the next day and i have everything done. yet i still feel anxious, nervous or stressed out. it seems to come and go, but lately it's been happening more and more often. has anyone experienced this before or does anyone know what might be causing this?
  14. first of all whats your budget for the fundraiser? second of all, if you have enough money you could have a school carnival with games and a dunk-tank and such. my elementary school did that and we always raised alot of money.
  15. you gotta admit though, the Riders were playing an exceptional game
  16. NFL = No Fun League You've probably never even watched a CFL game. Our balls are bigger you showed him blood \ :P anyways, lets get back to the topic

  18. So... if you're just posting to bash the subject for no apparent reason or posting just for the sake of posting, then don't waste your time... moron...
  19. lol i always say holy monkey! for some reason...
  20. Who do you think will win, and what do you predict the scores to be? as well, this can be a place to If you don't follow the CFL that's alright as long as you have a prediction. If you don't then don't waste your time posting here... In case you don't know who are in the finals they are: Western Final: Saskatchewan Roughriders vs. BC Lions Eastern Final: Toronto Argonauts vs. Montreal Allouettes My Predictions: Western Final: Roughriders will take it winning 27-24 (I'm a rider at heart :)) Eastern Final: Allouettes will win 21-14
  21. On the matter of the o-zone layer, I heard something on the news a few days ago (or maybe 2 weeks ago, can't really remember) that the o-zone layer is repairing itself, and by the year 2070 it will have fully repaired itself.
  22. have you ever tried finishing one of those things? they're so hard... #-o

I have trouble understand how people can type under 20 wpm at their fastest. When I was in elementary school I could type 40 wpm and I had never touch a computer except for the little games we got to play to help us learn. Now I type an average of 70-80 wpm but can get up to 100 wpm but I've also been playing onlines games for 4 years and actually used to be so shy I'd type instead of talk in Ventrillo  lol i typed like 18 wpm in grade 2, then my 3rd grade teacher stressed so much on typing and by the end of third grade i was at least 40 wpm, then from then til now i have been typing a lot more frequently and playing a lot of online games, so then i kept improving til where i am now
